Today on October.22,2023, me & babe (George) are trying a NEW DRINK: 'Bloody Taro' from Gong in the Cherry Hill Mall in Morristown New Jersey. When we got it, wow, it looked like blood & it taste so so delicious as well. It taste really yummy. The service was okay because when George went to pay for the drinks, his card was declined for some odd reason, we don't know why it was declined twice. Anyways, The 'Bloody Taro' drink was really good. I wanted to try the 'Mango Coconut Drink' but they were out of coconut, next time I'll try that drink. So far Gong Cha is my 2nd favorite place to get Boba Tea from. I love Boba Tea, either once or twice a week. It's my go to drink. I've been to Gong Chas in multiple countries and tbh, I have waited YEARS for one to finally open in the Philly area. Cherry Hill was close enough for me to venture out a few times to get my fix. This location has solid drinks but is totally understaffed. Both times I went they had only one worker to take orders and make the drinks. The wait was so long, and at some point the employee had to use the restroom so was gone for an additional 15 mins. Obviously nothing against the worker, but owners should reconsider staffing here. read more

Not your traditional store as it's inside the mall (food court) but its safe to say that there's plenty of parking and seating. it is so convenient to have bubble tea. That is really good in the mall. This place has the best bubble tea I have ever had. The earl gray with three Js is my absolute favorite to get. I am very sensitive to caffeine though, so make sure to not get it too late at night or it may keep you up if you were sensitive like me. Also the brown sugar bubble tea with assaulted foam is an amazing drink as well. They're Thai tea is not the best but still good compared to other places. This is a new opened store, so I don't wanna give them 1 star. It is located inside the mall, so there will be many customers walking by, so I think they have the right to know how the tea really tastes like. My friend used to try the gong cha in NY, she told me it was like drinking the water, she can't even finish it, she is not a wasting person, but she threw the drink to garbage. In the beginning, I thought it was the store's fault to making those awful drink, but I'm wrong. I get my oolong milk tea with bubble at gong cha located at cherry hill mall, I was so excited they finally have a milk tea store opened inside the mall. But I was so disappointed, just like my friend said, it is just like tastings the water, it had no oolong flavor. The bubble was fine, it is crunchy but not sweet. I feel they just mix the half milk and water, then add the bubble and a bit of sugar. I brought 4 oolong milk tea with bubble, I share that with my cousin and brother, it cost $20 exclude the tax, we all didn't finish it, it wasn't taste that good, we threw it in the garbage cans near the elevator. I know I'm wasting it, but none of us can finish it. By the way the customer service is very good! It has no problem with the service, all the employees are friendly! If it only happen to one store which the customer describe the drink has no taste, the it will not be a problem. But there are two store have no taste will be wired. Gongcha has always been my favorite spot to grab boba. The closest gongcha before this place open was New York so I'm so excited they open one near me. My first time going to this location was great. They had the best boba, cooked to perfection, not too hard but chewy enough. With each flavor comes a strong hint of tea. Not only are the drinks amazing, the staff as well. This one girl name Teresa I believe, she was so helpful. I was torn between two drinks, and instead she recommend something even better. Believe in the staff's recommendations. Super exited like the previous yelpers that Gongcha is finally opens in this area. One of my fav place to BBT. However, compare to the other locations, this particular location has a smaller menu. All the limited series are not there. They can only do the top 10 drinks and a few other options for now. Hopefully, more variety will be add in the near future. But it is a good start nonetheless. Wish it has it own store instead of residing in the mall food court tho. My first drink from here wasnt good but they got better when I revisit the 2nd time. I usually frequent gongcha but I don't think I will anymore. I even had to create a yelp account for my experience. Usually this place has good customer service but a few days ago I went to order a dirty brown sugar tea but due to my hard hearing, I wasn't able to hear and then the completely bright red-haired girl nearly raised her voice at me when I couldn't hear her! It's bad enough that before I came to order she was already on her phone scrolling through with what seemed to be airpods in! So I had to wait to catch her attention. And then after being considerate despite being the customer, she really raised her voice at me asking what I wanted because I could not hear her. On top of that, the drink did not even taste like the usual that I liked. It just really made the experience sour especially with the customer service. I won't be buying from here again. read more

This was my first time trying Gong cha and it literally blew my mind. There were so many options to pick from. The drinks was so delicious. The worker named Teresa was amazing! She was so friendly and helpful when I had so much questions. After she helped me she made my drink so quick! I love the service! She was also able to help my mom who only spoke Vietnamese! I'm not really a bubble tea person normally but, nowadays I really am since Gong Cha came to this location. I never really liked Kung Fu Tea because all the drinks I've tried were just alright, and not nearly as customizable as Gong Cha. The employees there are very friendly and easy to talk to when you have questions or if you're a first timer! I love that majority of their menu is completely customizable from the sugar level to the ice level and topping choices. My favorite topping by far is definitely their pudding. :) I also highly recommend their yogurt drinks because they're super refreshing! Before I start this review I just want to say i'm quite credible as an asian who's been to all sorts of boba places in the past years. Now, Im not sure if it's just THIS gong cha as this is a very popular place- But this boba shop was the worst boba i've ever had. The black tapioca pearls are super hard. The drink itself came lukewarm? I have no idea why it was warm, There was no ice. Most boba shops have ice by default so I didn't expect it to be so warm when I got it. My first order was caramel chocolate and it was awful. The foam tasted like ocean water (salty) and the drink tasted like coffee. It tasted like spoiled milk mixed with caramel and soy sauce. After getting that drink, I got a strawberry smoothie as a replacement for my old messed up order and it was another disappointment! It was warm and barely had any smoothie texture it was super liquidy. The boba was hard and the flavor was like sea salt. However, It is a lot better then the caramel one. Gong cha is one of the more expensive boba shops, and it's super disappointing that what you get isn't even close to the quality of locally owned boba shops. Since this location is new to cherry hill, I'm hoping they will improve but for now I don't reccommend it. read more
