There are several rooms in here and each one has interesting items displayed. They have the most awesome selection of authentic Dia de los Muertos dioramas, paper mache skeleton statues, wall of multicolored crucifixes, and an extensive selection of Mexican tiles, hand painted murals, wood furniture, and much, much more. Edgar helped us design the perfect project, offering suggestions we would never have considered. As a bonus, they are open on Sundays! One caveat- if you overbuy, (pretty much guaranteed to happen on complicated jobs) they only offer exchanges and not refunds. I was so excited to have found this place. Drove a distance to visit on Friday. Went in and found the tile I needed cut in halves. A worker walked by and asked me how I was doing but did not ask if I needed help and just kept walking. I said "excuse me" I needed help. I needed to have some tile cut. He said he could not help me because the workers were on lunch break and then just kept walking. Did not offer any assistance or offer to have me return at a later time ... nothing. This store's inventory is amazing, and the customer service is outstanding. I have a service dog, and as a person with a disability who depends on my dog to be able to leave the house, I don't always feel welcomed by some merchants, and I've had my share of bad encounters by store employees that don't want a dog in their shop. But the staff at Gonz has always been incredibly welcoming of my dog and me, including giving him a bowl of water, accommodating me in a very respectful and helpful manner, and making my shopping experience fantastic. I love this store and every staff person. They have great sales periodically, but their non-sale prices are very reasonable. The selection is incredible.
