Good burger is very tasty! The burger is large and the fries are nicely done. I had the Texas burger with pepper Jack cheese, jalapeños, lettuce, pickle, onions, and house sauce (I asked for no tomatoes). I waited about 5 minutes for it, and took it to go. It handled some time in the car very well too, and was super fresh even when I got home. I'll definitely be coming back here when I'm in the Shoreline area.

If you happen to be in the area or running errands on 99, like me, check this place out. Been here for around 3 years. Owner, Shawn( hope that's right, my apologies if not) , is a good guy. Greeted me as I walked in. I had already did my research so I was unusually quick with my order but still asked for a few seconds to make sure. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and upgraded to onion rings, which I'm very happy I did. I asked for ranch and blue cheese for dipping. Unfortunately no blue cheese but chose tartar as the second choice, (Thanks Dicks' lol). Also a fountain drink. I believe my order was just under 22$. Not bad. Place was empty save for Shawn and a cook who was working on an order, call in I presume. Anyway , got my drink, coke and found a spot towards the back. There is also a cooler with bottled drinks, which I usually get but I wanted to see how his fountain option was. Good balance of syrup to water and the carbonation was on point. Lots of seating, can accommodate a decent lunch crowd or dinner. Wood tables, and a long bench , which I chose. One t.v. Which was showing a tennis game but it was muted and music was playing. Not too loud. Good background noise. Shawn brought me my order. It was piping hot and looked great. I said thank you and he said it back, ahhahahaha. Good guy man. The food was delicious. On the menu it says gourmet burgers. It was a good, good burger. I would say far better than your drive thru burgers save for some classics but still above par. When I grabbed my drink I believe I saw my patty hit the grill. It was formed perfectly so I kinda assumed my thawed from a frozen stock but I didn't hold to anything. I wanted to wait till it was served. Great balance of flavor with all the toppings. Nothing stood out, in terms of over powering the coming together of everything. It tasted great. Good size. I'm a big guy and I felt I might not finish it towards the end but I managed hehehehehjeh. The onion rings were Great. Far better than a lot of other places, both drive thru and sit down. They were hot. They were crispy. The onions were juicy and succulent. Now, if the were frozen , which I don't know , he hit them out of the park. All in all , a good choice. I'll be back. Check this spot out.

First visit 6/12/21: Double Cheeseburger w/fries = $10.99 Bacon Burger w/fries = $9.29 Two milkshakes= $4.99 each Tasty, left full and satisfied (5 stars) Second visit 3/6/24: Cheeseburger w/fries = $13.25 Bacon Burger w/fries = $14.75 One milkshake = $6.75 Speaking only for myself, kind of meh, left full, probably won't return (3 stars) With tax & tip, this visit was a little over $44. Good Burger is an understatement, definitely more of a great burger. I ordered a double patty and well, I could not fit the burger in my mouth despite my many attempts. You'd think this is a bad sign, but it shows that the burger without any extras is huge. Though pricey, all burgers come with fries and the fries are pretty good. They're not necessarily crispy, but they're flavorful for potatoes and have a slight exterior crisp. Price is comparable to higher end burger joints though, so no big complaints. Milkshakes on the other hand, were costly and very airy so the volume felt off. Flavorful though! California Burger - without the extra patty, this burger is already difficult to eat. I'd consider my bite size to be larger than average and this was a monster. Slightly sweet bun contrasting with the salty and savory ingredients release a ton of flavor. Bacon adds a smoky profile. Avocado is fatty and adds a creaminess. There's just a lot of deliciousness going on. Fries are also a great pair, soft enough to serve as a break from chewing the monstrous burger. Blueberry Shake - light blueberry flavor but insanely creamy. The flavor is unique enough where I would recommend it! I've had similar blueberry shakes and every time they're just so solid. No artificial taste, not super overwhelming, and very rich in flavor. Downside is the shake is fairly airy and while the volume fills up the cup, it's not very thick or dense. They provide a thin straw which makes the shake last longer, but other shakes are thicker. Strawberry Shake - again, airy shake that's not thick combined with a thin straw to give an illusion of a thick shake. It's strawberry, which is common and a good control group to test. Nothing spectacular, if looking for the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry, I'd guess elsewhere is better. Stick to the more unique flavors here.

This might have been the best bacon cheese burger I've ever had. Thinking of all the steak house and burger joints I go to, this has the freshest patty that's generous in size. Actually everything is generous here even in our times of shrinkflation. The lettuce was as much as a side salad and all very green, yet well proportioned with the rest of the sandwich. Fries were crispy and tasted like fresh cut potatoes. Onion rings tasted fresh as well both large crisp onions and batter. Only thing I was annoyed with was that the ranch was 50 cents and I didn't know I had to pay for it until after I hit the condiment bar. But if that was the only negative thing, you better bet your buns I'll be back soon. Oh and it was a little cold in there...but man, the food was amazing and the people were incredibly nice and helpful!

I am normally not a huge burger person but Good Burger's Cali Burger was sooo good!!! It was a huge portion but I ate it all really quickly. Rarely are there places where I think about their burgers but I am still thinking about their burger. It had a lot of flavor and it just tasted really delicious, there's some kind of special sauce maybe? Recommend calling ahead to place orders since they cook everything fresh. Their Oreo milkshake was super tasty and hit the spot also. I can't wait to go back!

Got takeout tonight and it was a great experience - walked in at 730pm and it was 'busy' but not crazy busy. Staff was attentive and friendly and I placed my order. The energy was really good and the kitchen was bustling preparing orders for in-house dining, take-out, and pick-up. My order was ready in a very reasonable amount of time and it was super fresh. The burgers were outstanding (BBQ burger and a Gardenburger with cheese) as were the sides (fries and onion rings). Also, prices were reasonable. A major improvement over the previous burger place in this spot....super excited to have them in the neighborhood! read more

This place has a great burger, and great service. Sad to see racial and discriminatory posts by "Patches P" because I frequent this place weekly and what they say is not true. The staff is friendly, outgoing and full of customer service. I have never once had an issue with my order being incorrect and love having them in the neighborhood for a great burger option! The staff has been amazing since the day they opened, starting with the young girl that worked there for the first several months. Then came the younger guy that always has his backwards baseball cap on. He used to work at the front counter and was welcoming, friendly and always talkative (he has since moved to the kitchen). Once again, one of the better burgers you will find in the area, and the best/friendliest staff!!! read more

Wanted to like this place because it's so close... I can spot a frozen patty from a mile away . The fries are obviously used in the same fryer as fish they tasted fishy . The only Decent thing is the shake so I'll take that extra drive to burger-master or Redmill for fresh meat . read more

I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it was an overall miss for us. We are a family of 4 that includes a teenager and 9 year old. My son got the kids cheeseburger (added veggies as some places don't include those in their kids burgers), my daughter got the mushroom burger, my husband the Texas burger and a side of chili, and I got the onion burger. The burgers that my kids got were "meh, it's a burger" reaction. The Texas burger that boasts pepper Jack cheese and jalapeños was mediocre. Not even the slightest bit spicy. My husband thinks the jalapeños were pickled or something. No seeds in them. My onion burger was just any other burger. Grilled onions were just okay. The chili was just chili, "nothing to write home about" as stated by my husband. The biggest disappointment? The fries were way overcooked. So overcooked they were extra crispy and practically inedible. My daughter upgraded to sweet potato fries and she said her fries were perfect. Overall, it was a disappointing meal. We won't be back. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I'll start by saying the fries are amazing. They use quality lettuce on their burgers which is so important, nothing is worse than getting limp let us a taste like dirt. But unfortunately the burger sauce and the meat almost induced gagging. Let's start with the sauce... It's some kind of gelatinous orange sauce that they call a secret sauce. It's nothing more than mayonnaise with a dollop of ketchup in it to discolor it and it's absolutely disgusting. Next is the meat. Probably the most important part of the burger. I was super happy to see that they actually use quality cheese instead of processed American slices but they slap it on top of some frozen premade patty that taste like they aerosol sprayed it with butane before they served it. Aaaand...my meat was pink, not cool unless requested. I ended up just eating the bacon off the burger...not work the $45 for a family of 4 (burgers only, no drinks) we spent. read more

We have been trying for a few attempts just to try a shake. First time they closed before advertised. Second time they just cleaned the shake machine 30 minutes before they closed so we thought okay let's try an hour before they close. Nope. Went in and tried and they denied me yet again an hour before they closed. All I want to do is try a shake! read more

Been hearing about this place since it opened. It's been several different restaurants in the past. I walked in and it was super clean. Everyone working greeted me and was nice and friendly. Good menu with a nice variety. First thing I noticed when I got home was the burgers were huge. They were well built with good ratios of condiments etc. The taste was amazing. Better than the typical burger places. Prices were slightly above avg but includes fries or a side. I hope these guys make it. I will definitely be back. read more

Ordered 2 orders of the seafood combo, cherry shake, chocolate shake, and a order of onion rings. The fish was horrible. Super soggy batter and the fish had the texture of mush. The clam strips weren't much better. It tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. The shrimp were the best part of the meal, and they tasted no better than any frozen shrimp you would buy at the grocery store. The shakes were ok. A little on the watery side, but ok. The onion rings had a beer batter, and I'm not a fan of onion rings with that kind of batter. So, I won't judge the onion rings too harshly. My girlfriend liked them. I had high hopes for this place, but was severely disappointed. For $50 bucks, I expected better quality. I may give their burgers a try in the future, before I completely condemn this place. I'm going to have to give it some time though. I'm too disappointed to go back anytime soon. But I will check back in after I try a burger though. read more

We live right up the street and since the food is so good, we try over and over and over again and it always the same experience: endlessly disappointing. Sitting there for 15 minutes with empty glasses and not a bartender in sight, or waiting 20 minutes in an empty restaurant only to finally order and have the server tell you they just sold out of what you wanted is not the way to run a restaurant. I'm only giving it two stars because the food is so good, but I'm afraid we've been disappointed one too many times. Until they can either hire staff or train their current staff on how to deal with their sections, we're out.

Definitely didn't look like chicken masala and more of a thick gravy texture. The chicken looked like it was boiled and then covered with the sauce unlike panfried and then simmered into the sauce.

Once they received their order, I heard the couple tell the sever that everything was very good multiple times- their food did look good! This is a more sweets forward establishment with sweet crespellas, mini pancakes, milkshakes, novel drinks, juices, and canned/bottled bevs. Despite my fondness for savory French-style crêpes and seasonal strawberries (June for Skagit Valley strawberries), I decided to try a Crespella strawbites and a hot chocolate. Definitely a sweets splurge for me. This was a fairly sizeable crespella and easily shareable. I recently dined at "Good Burger," and I must say it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel welcome. The menu had a fantastic variety of options, and the food exceeded my expectations. The Cheese burger I ordered was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were incredible. There ware more than enough fries. My wife had a sweet potato fries and it was yummy and great alternative if you are sensitive to calories. It's really hit or miss at this place. Food is made very fast always under 10mins and solid burgers crispy fries. I have a few gripes with this place though, the fries have no seasoning whatsoever, their fish is sometimes really good, others really doughy and almost fake tasting. And this only happened once but I used my card to pay (normally cash) , and they tipped themselves? I wish I still had the receipt but order total was $28, receipt said 31 and some change with the extra charge on tip. They don't even have an option at the store I don't know how they did it.
