Mango Milk Tea w/ Popping Boba
    Vanessa R.

I am a HUGEEE fan of Good Chefs it is truly one of my favorite Asian restaurants in Miami. They teriyaki bow is always a must. The porky buns was a first for me and although I'm not a huge fan of the cucumber chunk I loveee the sauce both the bun and the pork belly are amazing. Truly a must have. My sister said she loved the ramen but the one she got is spicy. The milk tea is great. Such a hidden gem. The seating in this location is small just like their other location. Although this one is only the restaurant and more open however seating is still limited. Service is great and fast just like their older locations I find the food to be consistent with both. Parking is easy and free in the plaza. DEFINITELY TRY

Is my first time in this location. I love the food here. Is the best noodles in Kendall. The coconut lava ball is so delicious

Very good service. We ordered shrimp fried rice, takoyaki and dimsum. Small place but their food was delicious

    Passionfruit Tea with Strawberry pop

I've dined in at their 40th avenue location once and had carry out 3 times at the 107th avenue location. I will say I really enjoyed my Spicy Miso Ramen Soup, Garlic Mongolian Beef dish and a Passionfruit Tea with strawberry pops at the 40th Avenue location. The soup broth was fresh and yummy. The garlic beef dish had a crunchy texture with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The tea was refreshing and had fresh lime in it. The service at the location was top notch. The gentleman regularly asked if everything was okay. It was a pleasant experience. Only complaint is that they are supposed to open for service 11:00 am. I arrived at 11:00 am and was told they needed some more time to prep and to come back at 11:45 am. At their 107th Avenue location, I've ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen soup on 3 separate occasions all carry out or delivery. I also tried the Pad Thai with chicken and Special Fried Rice. The quantity of the soup broth provided for carry out is less compared to dining in. Which is a bummer. I really didn't enjoy the Pad Thai. It lacked the tartness from tamarind and sweetness that most Pad Thai dishes have. I'm an avid Pad Thai enthusiast and this dish wasn't it. It tasted like an ordinary bland noodle dish. The Special Fried Rice was also bland and lacked spices or flavor. I arrived at the restaurant and found that they have an Asian market in the same suite. I did purchase some of my staple Asian items while picking up my carry out, which was cool. The market is overpriced compared to other Asian markets. The dine in section is very small and lively. Expect a wait time to be seated. The quality of beef and chicken used in their ramen soups and Pad Thai was not good at all. It was rubbery and did not taste or have the texture of beef or chicken. In the future, I'll try the those dishes with tofu or shrimp, since I don't consume pork. Consuming the ramen soup is best during dine in. For carry out my noodles were struck together, dry and the seaweed was welted. Top dishes for me is the ramen soups and the garlic Mongolian beef. I love that the menu offers various broths that are not all pork based. If you can wait to for a dine in experience over carry out, that would be best. Both locations are anime themed which is very cool! I give this restaurant overall 6.5/10.

We visited this place today and 10/10. Great service, the food was great and they served a lot for the price. Definitely recommend if you want a great customer service experience and good food. Ambience was phenomenal also, it has a nice quiet atmosphere with super nice anime aesthetics. And a special thanks to jimmy and yanfen

Made a quick pivot to eat here on the way to another restaurant and I'm so glad we did! The inside decor really drew me in - it's SO CUTE! The service was great and super attentive. I started with a jasmine lemonade and right away was blown away - it was so refreshing and came in the cutest cup! I will never come to this shopping center and not get this drink to go LOL We went with the Asian lo mien, porky buns, and honey garlic chicken with white rice. Everything was so delicious we were so impressed. I highly recommend coming and checking this place out.

Good chef restaurant was really cute spot with tasty options and nice service. I tried this place as it was referred by a coworker and endless tiktokers and glad I did. In terms of the food the spicy yummy ramen was great the broth was especially tasty when comparing it to other Ramen places I like to go to I would stay here was definitely more savory! The Mongolian beef was good if you like garlic it packs a punch but for me it was a bit too sweet I would have preferred less sweet more savory but it was still great. Besides the ramen I really enjoyed the ginger pork dumplings that was hands down my favorite! I would go back just for that.

Yummy Spicy Ramen with Charsui Pork Belly and Egg Noodles

Unassuming from the outside but adorable on the inside, this place offers a nice variety of Asian dishes with a lot of flavor! I enjoyed the Yummy Spicy Ramen and Porky Buns, both of which were so delicious I'm still thinking about them a day later. My only gripe with this restaurant is the prices - the portions are generous and the dishes are definitely worth it taste-wise, but I personally don't like having to pay extra to add proteins to dishes that are supposed to come with them already (e.g. you have to pay to add any meat to the ramen). Other than that, I really enjoyed my first taste of Good Chef and can't wait to go back to try more! I'm looking at you, Rice with Pork Belly!

The location is pretty small which I didn't expect, but they have a lot of variety any on the menu. I did like the decorations inside. I will say I've gone to a lot of Asian spots because I love Asian food and this spot was OK. The pork buns look like the ones that are frozen that you buy at the Asian markets. It doesn't look homemade but it's OK cause I'll still eat it. The dumplings also didn't look homemade. The honey chicken we had was pretty good and flavorful, it had a nice crunch. The fried rice was ok, but I've had better. I might go back to try other things on the menu but for now this place is ok.

Porky bun: skip them. Dry and lacking flavor.

We were looking forward to finally finding some outstanding, authentic Chinese food in the Miami-Dade area. Unfortunately, you won't find it here, for the most part. We give them credit for the low-key, anime' -themed restaurant inside an Asian supermarket. Strengths: *Steam Ginger Pork Dumplings are among the best soup dumplings we've ever had. Just be careful with your first bite, as the soup inside is super hot (as it should be) Weaknesses *The Vegetable Spring Roll was lackluster *Twice Cooked Pork: the pork was either fatty, or too chewy, or both. The oil was excessive, pooling in the dish as we ate our way through it *Porky Bun: the meat was bone dry and there wasn't much flavor overall. We've had much better bao *They serve no alcohol, but they also don't have a corkage fee or BYOB, so don't bother bringing wine (which we mistakenly did, and got a hard time from our waitress for doing so, and weren't allowed to drink it) *The Asian fusion approach seems to have backfired. They should focus more on a smaller menu of high-quality dishes

Steam Ginger Pork Dumplings (4 pcs) Highly recommend Delicious in every bite

Highly recommend this spot! The atmosphere is chill and great for an intimate date. The staff is amazing! Attentive and friendly. The most important part is the food! Delicious

Loved our first time here. It's clean and welcoming. The food is VERY fresh homemade soup. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen with Pork Belly which was an excellent quality. Staff was warm and inviting. We will definitely be back here!!

Came to visit the new location in bird road, and I was just surprised at how small it is, it might be as big as the other location but since the other one is attached to an Asian market it definitely feels bigger. Just adding that so that you are aware that if you come on a busy weekend night you might have to wait a bit for a table. We visited as a family and the kids loved it! The decorations are very cute and anime-themed which they couldn't get enough of. Food and drinks were all delicious and they had enough to choose from. Very classic Asian dishes and boba teas. Service was also great, fast and efficient! Highly recommend it! Recommended dishes: Pork Gyoza and Mongolian beef! Drinks: passion fruit tea with pearls.

The food and drinks are consistently amazing. I've been coming here since they first opened (I believe back in 2014), and I'll keep coming back. Their menu is packed with bold, flavorful dishes, an impressive cocktail selection, and honestly, they were one of the places that got me through COVID! From the pizzas to the entrées, everything is outstanding. I celebrated my birthday here just last week, and as always, it was excellent. The churrasco is consistently tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The mushroom risotto is rich, creamy, and bursting with earthy mushroom goodness. For dessert, we shared the warm banana bread with salted caramel ice cream, and wow... I still can't stop thinking about it. Whether it's happy hour, lunch, dinner, or a special occasion, Finka never ever ever disappoints. After all these years, it's still one of my favorite spots in Miami, and I recommend it to everyone looking for a memorable lunch, dinner or happy hour, do it right and come to Finka.

Unfortunately, today was a very different experience. It took about five minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, even though the bar wasn't busy. I ordered an Old Cuban Old Fashioned, one of my favorites, and was surprised to see the bartender use his hands instead of tongs to put the ice into the glass. I ended up sending the drink back because the glass was dirty. The second drink was made by another bartender, and again, I noticed him using his hands instead of tongs to handle the ice. The food was still great, but after today's experience, I'll definitely be paying much closer attention to how my drinks are prepared. I've always had a great experience at Finka, which is why today was especially disappointing. I hope this was just an off day and not a change in their usual standards.

The oxtail, on the other hand, had a great flavor! I ordered the short rib ravioli. I don't know if it's normally like this or if there was a little slip in the kitchen but it was EXTREMELY salty. I'm usually one to add plenty of salt to dishes but this tasted like the cap of the salt shaker fell out while seasoning. Overall, I like this spot for a cute date night. The Master Chicken Steak is basically a fried chicken breast/cutlet that is perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and not greasy at all. The chicken itself is flavorful and delicious. There are several flavors and sauces to choose from, but since I love spicy food, I went with the Szechuan Mala Powder. It was so tasty and had a great spicy, numbing kick! Personally, I prefer the Mala powder over the sauce because it gives the chicken a stronger, more concentrated flavor without making it soggy. The price is also very reasonable, especially considering the portion and quality. We ordered it as takeout, and I was really impressed that even after taking it home, the chicken was still crispy, juicy, and delicious. That's always a big plus for fried chicken! Next time, we're going to try the Savory Garlic Powder at another Kung Fu Chicken location closer to our house. Can't wait to see how that flavor compares!
