It's pretty good! My kid really liked it.... Perfectly crisp chicken, flavorful and most definitely not greasy. When I came an early evening it was empty so we good our food quick. Service was friendly and the place is small. It's good for when that fried chicken craving kicks in.

Few things make me as happy as a delicious chicken sammie. King Fu came through. I'm not going to make the obvious "flavor kick to the mouth" and "taste punch to the belly" cliches This place just delivers a tasty freakin chicken sandwich that makes you take small bites towards the end be side you don't want it to end. The guy that does the TikToks takes your orders and delivers your food so that's cool. Miami service enhanced. What I really want to know is who was the designer. Who is running their marketing. Who is the DJ because the music was up beat but not obnoxious

We were in the FIU area helping a friend's son move out the dorm and after all the moving, we decided to try Kung Fu Chicken FIU location nearby. This location is an official partner with FIU and they offer students 10% discount with ID. The gentleman at the counter who took our order was super friendly and gave good recommendations also point it out to use the Student Id for the 10%. Thank you! I didn't see a lot of customers but I'm sure the students are happy to get their discount while enjoying some good Asian fusion fried chicken. This location is clean and service was fast about 10 minutes. Their menu consist mostly of chicken sandwiches like the Classic Chicken sandwich in brioche bun with pickels and slaw. The chicken cutlet is also very popular. Another must is the Big Kick leg meal. I ordered the large which comes with two deep fried chicken legs and side order of crispy fries. You can try their Kung Fu sauce , Honey Garlic, Sweet Sriracha and Szechuan Ma La all pretty good. They also have fruit smoothies.

Tucked near the former Roxy theater, this chicken joint is a solid addition to this row of spots! I've had the wrap+gyoza combo for $13 and it was great, totally hit the spot. Mango Coconut smoothie was really good (would just get a little less chunks next time lol). Lava sandwich is really good, and the cucumber salad is a healthy alternative to fries, just load it up withe sauce of your choice and voila. Adding it to the rotation so I can try the rest haha. If you're out by FIU show love!

I tried their 4 piece chicken tenders with fries and a chicken wrap. It was good and made fresh order :) service was nice and the inside looks very clean and fresh. I recommend, the chicken was good has its unique seasoning. :)

We visited Kung Fu Chicken FIU last Tuesday and ordered the 10-piece Three Flavor Chicken Tenders. The tenders were excellent--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. Each of the three sauces added something different and delicious. My favorite was the Szechuan Ma La powder, which had a great spicy kick. The Kung Fu Sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the General Tso's had that classic sweet-savory balance. The service was very good as well--friendly, fast, and attentive. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth coming back for!

What sold us on this place was how they pride themselves on never being greasy. Always crispy and most importantly that they're natural. But there was nothing natural about how amazing their drinks were. Between the Mango Coco and Strawberry Coco It was really hard to pick a favorite but strawberry won that round. Everyone has been talking about the Lava Sandwich and it really came through. Crispy chicken stuffed with mozzarella cheese and sweet corn pure genius. Now the wrap is Thick. But their fingers are the move with their signature sauces. Or go for their popcorn chicken if you want something smaller.

Tired of ho-hum chicken sandwiches? Kung Fu chicken ups the ante and brings bold flavors to fried chicken sandwiches. They offer a range of sauces to complement your sandwich resulting in wow flavors. Not a fried chicken fan? They also offer a grilled teriyaki sandwich. The sides are also Asian inspired with kimchi, cucumber salad, corn with cheese, and of course French fries. Service was also very friendly.

This place is absolutely amazing! The food is fresh and delicious. The service is fantastic! This place is visually stunning. I would recommend everyone go try the crunchy fresh chicken!

Ok so the reviews don't lie. Finally dragged myself out the house set on coming to check out Kung Fu Chicken FIU. Don't judge, the fat kid in me REALLY loves fried chicken! Took the 11 to FIU; played Frogger to cross 107th (cuz crosswalks don't exist where they need to!) and found King Fu Chicken FIU. Tucked away in the back corner of the University Shopping Plaza, this cozy hidden gem serves up a lot of mouthwatering options by super welcoming and attentive staff! I ordered the Lava sandwich Combo (#2) with a side. The combo doesn't include a drink but they have smoothies and other bottled options. I went with a classic Coke in the glass bottle cuz I'm a fat kid and water seems bougie. For the side I went with the, wait for it.... CORN CHEESE!! It's like what?! I haven't been this pleasantly surprised since someone got their chocolate in someone's peanut butter! I mean Reese's. Get your minds out the gutter. lol The sandwich was drenched in Honey Garlic sauce and fried PERFECTLY. It was hot & fresh out the fryer! I'm sure I'll be able to feel parts of my tongue in a few days but so worth it. I made a mess ngl but that's on me I always make a mess. I think it came with lettuce and I vaguely remember there was a tomato slice on there but my brain was having a fried chicken party and my tongue was on fire so the details got blurry ...briefl--Mozzarella! Just when it couldn't get ANY better --mozzarella cheese oozed out of it like hot LAVA! Oh. ...I see it, now. Now it makes sense. It was DELICIOUS and I must come back for more. I definitely recommend coming hungry cuz there are so many options. Come with friends and share, for those of you who have friends. You know who you are. The Chicken Gyoza looks amazing and they have a "Master Chicken Steak". It's a massive panko-crusted chicken cutlet you eat --with your HANDS!! what in the name of "That's how I eat at home!" is happening?! My chubby inner child is drooling in anticipation. Bwuahahaha Come to Kung Fu Chicken FIU. You won't be disappointed! Also in Little Havana Sobe and soon in Kendall. Tell em I sent you!! No don't. They have no idea who I am.

Tried this place for the first time today. And I must say I really enjoyed it. The food was great and reasonably priced. The service was excellent too. Definitely a great vibe in the restaurant!

Nice colorful setting, with really great chicken sandwiches. They have a little self ordering station, but the dudes that work there are friendly and happy to answer questions. Nice to get something new and seriously delicious added to the roster of great chicken sandwiches in Miami.

(2/5) -- Great concept, but this visit missed the mark…read more I really wanted to like this Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers location more than I did, because the concept is solid and, generally, Cane's food hits. But this visit? Frustrating from start to finish. First off, the setup is misleading. The inside looked empty, and even the drive-thru appeared manageable--until you actually commit. You have to drive deep into the parking lot just to see how long the line really is, and once you're in, there's no easy way out. So now you're stuck. Not ideal. Then comes the wait. About 10 minutes just to place an order, with aggressive drivers jockeying for position like it's a race. I get it--no one wants to sit in that line--but the flow (or lack of it) makes it worse. For a place with two lanes, the organization just isn't there. Service at the speaker? Rough. I felt rushed the entire time, struggled to hear over the noise, and kept getting hit with "I can't hear you, speak up" in a tone that felt more dismissive than helpful. No upsell, no real engagement--just hurry up and move along. To their credit, the pickup window redeemed things a little. Once I got there, the food was ready, and they even overdelivered on condiments (asked for two ketchups, got four). That part was efficient--but it came after a pretty long wait for only about seven cars ahead of me. Now, the food... This is where things really slipped. * The 4-piece tenders felt noticeably smaller--more like large nuggets than actual tenders * Fries were undercooked and skimpy for the price and I had to ask for ketchup * Sweet tea was mostly ice, barely any drink * Overall portions just didn't match the cost For a brand that usually delivers consistency, this felt off. Like corners were being cut. Final take: Started as a 3-star experience based on the process, but dropped to 2 stars once the food came into play. If I could split it, it'd be a 2.5--but Yelp doesn't do that. This place should be better. The foundation is there. But between the chaotic drive-thru, rushed service, and underwhelming portions, it's just not hitting right now. Hope they tighten things up--because Cane's can be really good when it's done right.

Intriguing and well decorated inside…read more I don't get why people go crazy over their sauce. It's a combo of Maui, ketchup and a hint of BBQ sauce. I had the chicken sandwich which is really the chicken fingers on a bun with sauce and a slide of lettuce. It was decent. Not out of this world. For the caloric intake and the level of sodium in the food.... I won't be coming back for a while. It's been 3 days and I'll still bloated - LOL

I don't have anything to compare this to but I thought it was good but different than what I've had before. I'm sure locals are used to this but for me, as far as sandwich's go, it's a little unusual in that it has flattened steak that's been marinated with Mojo seasoning, and has onions and garlic mixed/pounded into the steak as well as super thin fries. Also the jugo de mango mixed with the blended ice was excellent. Highly recommend the jugos.

But if you are a native you are likely to recommend an only in miami experience like el Rey de las Fritas. Fritas are often described as a Cuban hamburger but that's like calling Mobi dick a fish. These are a typically mixture of ground beef and pork but with plenty of cumin, paprika and other spices. Usually fried with some onions and Always some sort of sauce is used in cooking. It should be served in Cuban bread roll but the best thing about it is the thin crispy fries that top it. Some places in town my used canned Fries but not here. I a cannot overate the importance of these fries or the fact these fritas are cooked to order and served piping hot . As to ambiance you get hole in the wall experience with counter seating only. The one on eighth street is bigger but both just have counters. I have had fritas at Cuban restaurants and none come close. The menus includes all sorts of Cuban sandwiches and steaks etc. all are some of the best in town but if you come here you have to have a frita. You also have to try one of the thick milkshakes or tropical juices. The mamey shake is as tasty as it is beautiful with its deep red tones. I often get the mango juice or the melon juice both bursting with flavors. The meal must (I'll say again must ) end with a cafecito or a cortadito. While Rey de las Fritas is not the first it has weathered like fine wine and it's now the best. You can also try mago de las fritas but their fritas are not as good to my taste. I don't often or ever see tourists here and that's a shame.
