Great pizza, reminds me of my childhood grabbing pizza with my parents. Self serve drink stations and fresh beer on tap.

We found this place while visiting Asheville. From the outside it doesn't look like much but go on inside - don't pass it but it was great!!! Let's go with review 1. Food: GOOD!!! The garlic knots are a must!! The salad was huge and fresh - the make Italian dressing in- house. We got the veggie pizza - so good! You can see then cook everything when you come in front door. Everything we had was fresh and cooked when ordered not pre cooked - Tea and sodas are self serve and parm cheese, oregano, red pepper flakes along with silverware there to grab as needed, 2. Service: excellent - our waitress was friendly and checked on us 3. Ambiance: it's an 80's decorated pizza parlor- 80's paraphernalia, music, tv programs, videos games. Take a look at all the pez dispensers along the wall. Extras: 4. there is an extra room attached to restaurant -- looked like and ice cream area but it had a few games to play 5. This is our favorite pizza joint for all the pizza consumption! The prices are reasonable and pizzas are huge. The Lot is my absolute favorite one and the garlic knots are to die for. The decor is super neat and sends you back to the 80's & 90's. Plus there is a little gelato shop on the side. read more

We did a large 14 pizza order for me and 23 friends after Land and Lakes relay run. The pizza was good quality and done on time. Also had opportunity for a small gelato prior to taking the pizza back to our Air BnB. Owner made a point to thank us for the business. We will return next year. read more

Traveling through the area and needed some to go food. I found this spot and didn't know what to expect but the food is amazing! Portions are big, fair prices and the chicken Philly was phenomenal. This is a proper pizza--we loved every one we tried (4), but our faves were the Jesco and the Lobo. Outstanding. The crust is perfect, chewy, bubbly and worth eating. Also not to be missed, the focaccia/garlic bread and the generous salads with house made ranch that is honestly the best we've ever had. They were open a few weeks before the hurricane and just reopened with rotating beers on tap and dine-in now open. The vibe is a fun and kitsch-y ode to the 80s. We LOVED everything we had and everyone was super sweet and helpful too. Worth the drive from Asheville or Black Mountain if you're not Swannanoa adjacent. read more

Good Company is open again after the hurricane with a new dining room and expanded hours to capture the lunch crowd. Its not on their printed menu but they now feature a lunch special (until 2pm) which consists of a slice of plain, pepperoni or the daily featured special pizza and one of the three salads as a side. The slice is oversized and filling. I had one today and it was such a pleasure to have a real pizza in my hand again. Folded in half and stuffed in your mouth, the flavors and textures are perfect. Ok I don't know what's going on with this pizza place. For years now, I've defaulted to a plain cheese pizza the first time I try a pizza place. If they can't get that right, there's no reason to get anything more involved, and I truly love a good cheese pizza. Beyond that, it's usually a mushroom/black olive and that's it. I've had neither here. It started with a white pizza, that blasphemous substitute I never eat (and was amazing) and now, the Marge. I honestly was planning on the mushroom olive pizza, the wife and I discussed it the night before, I thought about it all day, I was craving it pretty bad and excited to get to try it from Good Company. Then I saw the menu, and the Marge jumped out at me. Ran it by the wife, who's response was to get glassy eyed and nod slowly. Done. Ordered. Picked up. Holy crap that's a good pizza! Just a perfect balance of flavors and textures, every bite a little bit different, turning a slice into an adventure for your taste buds, winding your way through the earthy deep flavor and texture of the sausage that's so perfectly complimented by the peppadews, all backed up by the creamy, soft contrast provided by the ricotta. The basil drizzle is the rug that ties the room together, like a bright green forest canopy watching over you as you conquer the jungle of flavor on this pie. Fricking amazing. read more

Great vibe and even better pizza. We had the Don Ho and Lobo. Both excellent. But, the Garlic bread foccacia is the star. Do not come here and skip it. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Salads were generous with the best homemade ranch dressing. Owners are 20 + year locals. read more
