Always love the fallout after great Chinese takeout! Better the next day is quite good fortune, I'd say! This is two days past & it's still perfect!

Once again. Can't recall which dish. It's a game.

This place rocks, but as with anything it depends what you get. Their chicken soup is awesome. Bean sprouts, onions (id prefer not as many), thin noodles, chicken and broth. I wish they offered it as a cup option, the minus; but it's bowl only. Perfect for delivery. We have tried many dishes there. The winners are human shrimp or chicken, we have tried both; dragon which is shrimp and chicken I can't stand garlic but I was surprised that even a dish with a garlic sauce you could barely taste the garlic. The lunch menu is a sweet deal. The only miss is the spouse tried the ramen and was underwhelmed. The wildlife though loved it.

When we first walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by how nice it looks inside. And there are many outdoor tables as well. Our server Linda was very helpful and nice, but she was spread pretty thinly when we walked in and it took a while for her to get to us. We both ordered luncheon specials. We both ordered hot and sour soup and it was delicious. And we both ordered protein with garlic sauce. One of us ordered shrimp and the other had pork. There were five large shrimp in the one plate and lots of pork in the other. But our complaint was with the vegetables. There were very large chunks and were underdone. And there were no knives on the table so we had a hard time cutting the veggies as well. The flavor of both dishes was great. We were sort of unhappy with the fact that we really didn't taste any garlic. The egg roll that came with the luncheon plates was delicious as well. All in all, there was nothing that made this restaurant unique.

So far I've been to good fortune two times. The first time I bought chicken pad, Thai and the second time I got the grill chicken teriyaki combo and the Kung pow chicken Everything has been very flavorful and travel as well The staff is super friendly and even gave me a small little toy for my daughter Ambiance's clean, plenty of seating and it does not smell in this restaurant like it does in some other Asian restaurants that I've been to

House Mo Fun, Shrimp Tempura, Beef and Peppers, and house soup.

Ordered delivery for dinner tonight. They pack your order in insulated bags which is wonderful, overall the food is really good. The Shrimp Tempura isn't worth the price so if you're contemplating that, I'd pass. Overall this place is pretty expensive especially for what you get. It's newer so we wanted to try it. It's good, not sure if it's $150 for 2 people good though. Still on the fence if we'll be back simply for the cost. Everything starts at $20 for a dish.

Yes, avoid this restaurant! For $140 I got two small bags of food! On their website they offer egg rolls for $4.50, it does say each however the picture next to it shows three eggrolls! So what do you think you're getting you're getting three eggrolls for $4.50. No each tiny little eggroll is $4.50. Absolutely not worth the money. I ordered a group order and they didn't even label what each container was.

The aforementioned soup.

I can understand why this place is ALWAYS packed. Was it the service? Was it the quality of food?…read moreWas it just the ambiance? ITS D. ALL OF THE ABOVE! I ordered the Duck Matcha. I know I personally was a little hesitant because when I think matcha I think of my go to Starbucks order (venti iced matcha latte with strawberry cold foam sub for oat milk) but when I tasted this I removed my opinion completely because THIS WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANY SOUP IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. it just flavors dancing on my tongue. I couldn't stop myself from eating I had to finish it because every bite I left behind I knew I would regret not savoring it even longer. So so so good. My brother got the Signature Tori. The broth was perfection. It had the perfect amount of spicy kick. And the presentation was I'm telling you all the ramen at this establishment is god tier. Mwah what an amazing meal. 20/10 will consume again!

We started with the Aji Fry. Let me tell you, they are these hot, crispy and delicious fried Japanese Mackerel pieces that just melt in your mouth. We both ordered ramen, I got the G.K.O. It was a spicy, garlic knockout with the most amazing slices of chicken chashu I've ever had and I added an egg to mine!! My boyfriend got the Signature Toripaitan ramen. It comes with four different types of meat and this amazingly creamy chicken broth. Both ramens ingredients tasted incredibly fresh and the bouncy ramen noodles were the best I've had yet!! The ambiance inside is great, they have an open kitchen concept where you can sit right at the bar and watch the ramen in action. It's not a very big place, but that's okay, because the atmosphere was very charming and the staff was very friendly. Our server was an absolute delight!! 10/10 recommend and I cannot wait to go back and try more items on the menu!!

Nishikawa Ramen is a small little ramen shop decorated with anime posters from Naruto, One Piece,…read moreand Dragon Ball. There were also cute little trinkets of My Neighbor Totoro. Upon entering, we were free to seat ourselves and chose a booth by the wall. It was not busy at all and the service was quick and friendly. We started off with a large sake bomb paired with a Kirin Light ($15). We then ordered two Tonkotsu Ramens, one medium spice and one hot spice ($15.99 each). Honestly, the hot spice level did not taste spicy at all, so I would recommend going extra hot if you like spice. They also provide chili powder on the table if you want to add more spice yourself. The ramen broth itself could have used a tad more flavor. I lightly added some soy sauce to the broth which is something I often do to add a little kick. I loved all of the toppings included, from the green onions to the kikurage (wood ear mushroom). My favorite part was the pork chashu, which was really tender and delicious. I also appreciated that the ramen came with a full soft boiled egg rather than half an egg, and the egg was perfectly runny. Before leaving, we ordered their tea special that was buy one get one. We got a matcha milk tea and a cafe latte which I forgot to take a photo of. I felt like the cafe latte could have used a little more sweetness to balance it. Also, I found it neat that Nishikawa offers a rewards program, not something I see often at ramen shops. My true rating would be 4.5 due to some of the criticisms I mentioned above, but overall I still had a good experience. Thank you for serving us. Visited 5/2/26

My husband and I came to Obon late one Sunday evening while on a work trip to Scottsdale. The…read morerestaurant was within walking distance of our hotel and we were feeling a little under the weather, so decided we wanted some ramen to help soothe that feeling. We popped into the restaurant and didn't have a reservation. There were a few tables that were full, but it was definitely more empty at that time than packed. The hostess was not necessarily the nicest person and more focused on her phone. She greeted us, but went back to texting. We stood there for a minute and the restaurant phone rang, which she answered. After standing there for 5-7 minutes, she came back and seated us. As we approached the table, we noticed that it still had plates and bowls leftover from the previous customer. The busser quickly removed them and wiped the table down for us to take a seat. The server came over relatively quickly and was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Since it was two of us, we wanted to try a range of things but our main focus was ramen. We decided to order some edamame to start, which was okay. It wasn't super fresh, but overall it was decent. For our main course, we ordered the kaizen and the hafu sushi. We ordered the Obon ramen to split. Not long after ordering our food came out. The server was really attentive and placed our ramen in two separate bowls for us. As far as flavor goes, the Obon was extremely spicy. I'm a spicy girlie and I couldn't even eat it. I ate the noodles, but the broth was too much for me. I passed it on to my husband and to my surprise, he actually ate it (he doesn't like spice). I think his sore throat trumped the spice. The kaizen roll was really good. We actually loved that. The hafu, not so much. The cilantro flavor was a little too heavy on the roll itself. We would definitely give this place another try if ever in the area, but maybe order something different.

Definitely a vibe for anime lovers! Food-wise, we started with the gyoza and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked and even better dipped in the ponzu sauce! We also tried the sushi flight, which was a great way to sample a few different flavors. Overall, I really enjoyed it, although the eel was probably my least favorite of the flight just personal preference. The crispy tuna rice was easily the star of the meal! Crispy, flavorful, and the textures worked so well together. I would 100% order that again. The ramen, however, was just okay for me. It wasn't bad or inedible, but the broth was lacking that rich, deep flavor I look for in a good bowl of ramen. A little more depth and seasoning would really take it to the next level. The service was honestly one of the highlights. Our waiter was super friendly, cool, and attentive without hovering, which I always appreciate. Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The great service, fun atmosphere, and crispy tuna rice are enough for me to give Full Moon Izakaya another try. Next time, I'll be exploring more of the menu!

We were nearby for a show, and decided to stop in on a Wednesday evening for a late dinner with some friends. They have a good happy hour menu, and my friends ordered off there, but I was craving sushi so I got the nigiri omakase. It came with miso soup, which I enjoyed, definitely hard to go wrong there. The sushi itself was decent, nothing crazy, but definitely better than grocery store quality. The tuna and salmon pieces were a little fishy, maybe not the freshest, but it was also quite late (~10pm) so I wasn't expecting too much. Beautifully presented, and the cuts were quite large which was nice! The food came out pretty fast, and the service was pleasant. The restaurant vibes are pretty dark, and moody. The bathroom was kind of scary personally, super dark and a little messy, so I decided to wait till I got home. Overall, a solid experience, and definitely a good choice if I am in the area.
