We did pick up - a Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and Juju's Good Burger. The burger was OUTSTANDING! I liked the hot honey chicken sammie, but personally I could've used more heat over the sweet. Also the bun to chicken ratio was off - too much bun, so the piece of chicken needs to be a bit meatier. Little Lucharitos/Good Juju's, Main Road, Aquebogue. Is there a minus star rating? I only added a one because I couldn't post this review with a star. If so, I think you would agree that the pictured wings plus nachos without cheese, guacamole and salsa and a beef burrito without the ordered extra cheese were extremely disappointing, to say the least. The fried cauliflower was edible. So in essence the cauliflower cost $80. My recommendation would be to turn at the light on Edgar Ave. and go to The Docks on Meeting House Creek Rd. Not my favorite place. Their seafood is average. Their clam chowder, wings, and sandwiches are really good though. But if you get the max and cheese, it's very plain. The service is kind but a little slow. The place is small with outdoor and indoor seating. This was my first of many future visits to Good Jujus. I got the half pound brisket plate with cornbread. The brisket had great flavor, and was tender and juicy and the cornbread was buttery.. The portion was very generous, definitely shareable with additional sides. My wife got the Juju burger, she said it was a perfect classic burger. The fried calamari was spot on, crispy with a tasty Cajun seasoned breading (not chewy or fishy). read more

Stopped in this gem of a restaurant this afternoon. Live music playing outside. We Ordered two drinks, the smoked chicken wings with a bunch of sauces and the Shrimp Po-Boy sandwich and the hot honey chicken sandwich. The wings were the best I have ever had, juicy, tender, substantial. The Buffalo sauce and bourbon sauce were excellent. My wife said that the hot honey chicken sandwich was one of the best sandwiches that she ever ate. It was sweet with lots of honey, juicy, tender and delicious. I did enjoy the shrimp Poboy. The shrimp was cooked nicely, seasoned well. I didn't particularly like the pickles on there, but I just took them off because they weren't my thing. The french fries were house made from real potatoes, and I asked for them crispy and they came out to the table crispy . My spouse and I went here after a rather long work day and had an enjoyable meal. If you put the address on Waze it appears as Lucharitos and apparently this is a spin-off. It was happy hour when we arrived so I enjoyed a delicious mango margaritas and my spouse had a mojito. We had the crab dip with chips which was great. I had the happy hour special shrimp and fries which was just the right size and it was perfect . My spouse had the brisket mac and cheese also delicious. My least favorite thing was the moon pie. It tasted great but the "pudding" consistency was a bit off putting making what should have been a good dessert to a mediocre one. The steak burrito was excellent. I also liked the guacamole. The churros were mediocre. The chicken quesadilla had at least two chicken bone fragments. That is a little too authentic! We ate here last night with our grandkids. The kids enjoyed the game room unfortunately the food and service were disappointing. The quesadillas were very greasy and soggy( both shrimp and grilled veggie) The wings were over cooked . The Mac and cheese tasted like it was just heated up in a microwave. We ordered a kids cheese burger and the bun was soaked in butter and missing the cheese. Just very disappointed in all the food from apps to entrees. That's the place we pass because it's the building that's changing so many names. But now you need to stop and give these guys a try. My husband absolutely loved the brisket. I'm a white meat eater and love home made Cole slaw. I gotta tell you... so so good. We tried basically a bit of their specials on their menu. It did not disappoint. Wow, what a find! I was out on the north fork for a business meeting and I just smelled this heavenly smell from across the street. I'm like what is that so I can went to this place and the bartender is super friendly and she recommended this chicken sandwich and it was so good. We had heard some buzz about Good Jujus and decided to give it a try. when we pulled in the lot we saw the cool fire pit tables in the front yard. So cool! we wanted to sit outside at one of those tables and we did. the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and answered any questions. The hot item is the boil pots that are made with your choices of seafood and different sauces. I choose the lobster of course and I selected the juju sauce. which we were informed is the crowd favorite. Hubby loves Po Boys and was thrilled to see it on the menu. Our dinners were served timely and hot. We enjoyed it so much. The flavors were harmonious and we could not have been happier. We told our server how delish everything was and she mentioned when we come back again that we must order the Brisket. From what we understand, it is the pride and joy of Chef John. This cool little "out east" spot is definitely a must try and we will be coming back for that Brisket!! read more
