Saying goodbye to my beloved dog of 11 years was something I had never experienced before, and I was completely unprepared for the emotional weight of it all. From my very first phone call, I was met with genuine kindness, patience, and sincerity. Every question I had was answered with such care and understanding--it truly felt like they were walking alongside me during this difficult time. When the doctor came to our home, their presence was calm, respectful, and incredibly compassionate. They treated my dog with such dignity and love, and they gave me the space and support I needed to say goodbye in peace. It meant more to me than I can ever express. Even afterward, the level of care continued. Picking up my dog's remains was handled with such grace and respect--it was clear that every step of the process was done with heartfelt intention and compassion. In a moment filled with so much pain, this team was a blessing. I truly believe God places people in our lives when we need them most, and they were exactly that for me. Their sincerity, kindness, and unwavering support brought comfort to my heart in a time of deep sorrow. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone facing the incredibly difficult decision of saying goodbye to a beloved pet. They go above and beyond in every way, and I will forever be grateful for the love and care they showed to both me and my dog.

He let them put the sedative in, then within seconds he shivered and tried to run back inside the house. He dropped to the ground with a look of terror, then tried to run back inside again and dropped down. He was "drunk" on "kitty ketamine" as she put it. I understand that every cat reacts differently, but after speaking to other vets, it wasn't supposed to be like that at all. This month we had to say goodbye to another one of our cats, and we used a different company with remarkable results.

We were…read moretold by the Vet that we had only seen once prior( he took over our regular vets office ) that she could not and would not survive this diagnosis . Our only option was to put her to sleep, but he said " I'm not at all saying today" We took her home and loved her more every minute of every day , but it became clear that we would have to make a decision , I still didn't or couldn't come to grips with it . I talked to the Vet who diagnosed her to see if he would come and take care of her at home , her home , but he was unable to help us. and I understood .My son called his Vet and she recommended Dr Birdwell. I called and spoke to her and immediately started sobbing and told her our situation , I could not fathom taking my Lizzie out and bringing her little body home in a blanket. She wanted to know about Lizzie , she took so much time on the phone .. she didn't know me and she didn't know Lizzie . The comfort level that I felt was immediate ! Through my tears I asked " how will we know " The thought of scheduling her last day paralyzed me . My other two cats died of old age not a sick day in their lives , one was 20 , the other 19 . Her answer " she will tell you " Two days passed and Dr Birdwell was so right . She said she would help us , I was so grateful considering the current situation . A week ago Saturday past , my doorbell rang and I thought I would throw up ! She came in and using all precautions of the covid situation , she sat and we talked and calmed me down to the point that I knew it was going to be allright . Dr Birdwell was so kind and so compassionate that we couldn't have asked for any more on that day .She talked us through everything. Our Lizzie was at her home and we held her and our eyes were the eyes that she looked into . I will not considered a new pet any time soon but the day will come and when it does , Dr Birdwell will be "it' for the newest member of our family ! Thank You Dr Birdwell !

I felt awful calling so close to their close time but the lady that answered the phone assured me it was perfectly fine and to come on by. Our normal place of care is Banfield as we have a monthly plan with them, but they were booked up. They didn't try to get any extra tests/labs to get more money out of us or anything like that and recommended antibiotics and steroids to calm the symptoms down. Within a day our dogs paw was better and she wasn't limping anymore. The exam fee was $98 and we paid $151 in total. I really appreciate taking the time to help us so close to closing and paying attention to details. The staff treated our dog with exceptional care and lots of love. Thank you guys for providing genuine service

We've been taking our fur babies here for 6 years.Communication from the girls at the front desk…read morehas always been a little lacking. It was okay because we felt that Dr Rodriguez was very informative. He was never very loving to our babies but that was okay. One month ago we dropped our 12 yr old Shepard mix off for reverse sneezing and a running nose.Dr writes it off as allergies.A week later it continues and she became lethargic.Went back to Dr. He does an xray and camera in her nose.Tells us could be fungal, foreign body or cancer. He suggested a CT scan, referred us to a specialist. 48 hours later and the order was never sent. After multiple calls to push the order the scan is finally done.Dr will call once results were in.We got results the following Tuesday via email from specialist.Ended up having to call them to get results a few days later.Dr said we need a biopsy.Opted for a fungal test instead(less invasive and less costly)Process of elimination.Brought her back for test on Fri.Thurs, no call. Our dog started pouring blood from her nose.Called panicked, was told rudely by a lady in the office"Well, I guess you should bring her in".Found out then that they had the results since Mon.We didn't understand why we weren't informed. We rushed her in. Dr insisted he had called us and that it had gone straight to VM.We had no missed calls and no messages were left.We let him know how the office had treated us.He said he'd handle it.He stopped the bleeding, told us the fungal came back negative and this was most likely cancer. We were devastated. We brought her home completely broken hearted and prepared for the worst.Sunday seizures started. If you've experienced seizures, you know how upsetting they can be and how hard on the body they are.We called Monday morning.Spoke with Dr who told us to come pick up anti seizure meds right away, they would be ready immediately.Rushed over, was told by the ladies in the office that they weren't ready and to have a seat.Waited for about 10 minutes and then was told they did not have the meds in office but that they could call them in to our pharmacy.I said that was okay and headed over to ensure it was rushed.Waited at pharmacy for 30 minutes. They still hadnt received them.I called the vet in tears and asked if they could rush the script.Response from office:"I don't know what you want me to do.I can't just pull a tech from another customer to fill your script" I said okay but please hurry she is still seizing.I head home to wait and be with her.Another 40 minutes goes by and the pharmacy still has nothing. The pharmacy says theyll call to get a verbal.Call goes straight to VM.Turns out they closed for the rest of the day for training. At this point, I'm a mess.My baby is suffering and I have no help from the people I had trusted. My husband goes to the vet and knocks on the door.A tech answers,he explains. She apologizes, says she'll take care of him and puts him in a room. Dr Rodriguez comes in about 10 min later yelling "What are you expecting!?" Husband with tears in eyes explains he feels we were put on the back burner, we needed help and he doesn't understand why the script wasn't sent.Dr R continues yelling saying everything he has done for us.We have paid outrageous amounts of money to this man over the past month and past 6 years. He then yells "What do you want from me?!" Husband says "I just want the script for my dog"Dr gives it to him proceeds to follow him out of the office yelling the entire way. Hubby heads back to the pharmacy to find out Dr didn't fill in the quantity. He then had to go back and face the horrendous situation again. At 2pm we finally got the meds into our baby and get control of the seizures. She has had 4 in less than 18 hours. When you are dealing with end of life treatment for your babies,I highly recommend a vet and office staff with compassion.I honestly can't believe we were treated this way.Especially during such an emotional time. When it comes to vets,I recommend anyone but this one.Our babies already have a new doctor.

Dr. Hancock was the first veterinarian that did Kobe's intake and let us know his plan for surgery. She was phenomenal, he had a suspected pancreatitis case and his abdomen had sepsis as well and she had such empathy and was the first time that I felt like I could breath and I just felt peace that my dog was going to be in good hands. He was then operated on by an on call doctor that was called in for his surgery. Dr. Trainor did his surgery and updated us that all went well. Kobe had a crash overnight and was not responsive and was transferred into the Critical care team that morning. Dr. Strey was his doctor in his time at critical care and she was phenomenal as well. She and her tech team truly saved Kobe's life. On Tuesday when he was in critical care he had one tech, Miguel, that was taking care of only him and making sure his vitals were all okay. You can truly tell that Miguel (and all the techs) that cared for Kobe were amazing and really loved on all the pets in the back. They were super available and I was able to come in, visit, call, and got many updates while he was in the hospital which I truly appreciated. Today I went back for Kobe's 1 week follow up/2 week surgery stitches removal and they were so happy to see him doing so good. I will always make the drive out here if I need emergency pet care. I truly appreciate them for saving Kobe. Ps, get pet insurance before you think you need it. the costs were super high but for the work and the attention they did I was glad I was able to come here
