My family just moved into a new house, and our front entry door was (still is, actually) VERY old. Specifically, I wanted to update the locks on the front door worth a more modern Schlage smartlock, but after chatting with a couple of other locksmiths, they said that we would be better off buying a new a front door, which would set us back about $2,000. Tal not only said that he could replace and update the locking mechanism without us replacing the door, but he was also kind, super knowledgeable and very fast. Tal came highly recommended by many others in the community when we moved into our first home and needed new locks and keys. He haw a great availability and is easy to communicate with via both phone and text. Tal is quite personable and easy with the smiles. When he first came over, he talked us through our options as far as locks. He can do pretty much anything from his trusty van, including create copies of new keys. He also works quickly and efficiently. When Tal came to install our new locks, he quickly assessed that the ancient front door we had inherited would be a problem and had to be coerced against his better judgment to install new locks. Cut to months later when we were forced to replace the door completely because of exactly the issue he had prophesied and so of course, Tal installed those locks on our new door too! He is a really true blue, honest guy. When we decided to upgrade our locks recently to smart locks, Tal was really knowledgeable about what was out there, offered great advice and also offered to take our smart lock home with him to try to fit it with a Mul-T-Lock for extra security. He installed the Schlage Sense Smart deadbolt for us on our front door along with Kwikset Kevo Convert Smart Lock Conversion Kit on our back house. We had issues with the Sense because the holes for the lock and the handle set didn't line up (an error made by our handyman) and later a similar issue with the Kevo (also due to our handyman). Tal came back free of charge to fix this. I highly recommend Tal to anyone looking for a locksmith and I've recommended him to others as well.
