    Catfish basket

I had to go to Manor for a job, I asked my client for lunch recommendation, and they recommended Good Luck Grill. I could see it was popular based upon the parking lot and the building and grounds appeared to be well cared for. Inside, you place your order at a counter shared with the kitchen. My order taker was well spoken and articulate. The menu had quite a selection but my client advised me to do the catfish. I settled on the catfish basket but, if I get the chance to return, I'll go with one of their dinner plates. The dining area is decorated really well -- you can tell they give the place a lot of attention. The bathrooms were a bit small but clean and all new fixtures. What's that music I hear playing? Johnny Cash? Oh yeah -- I'm in a good place. If you get the catfish, watch your first bite because boy howdy it comes out HOT! My fish was cooked to perfection and unbelievably light and flakey. The basket included some very tasty fries as well. It was more than I could put away so I brought about 1/3 of the meal home. My only wish would be for better flatware because they only provide light duty plastic. Not enough of a bother to lose a star though. I'd go back anytime I'm in Manor.

My wife and came here after coming here 9 years ago. I remember finding this place back in the day taking back roads home. Well folks as many of you already know it no longer on a back road. Manor has grown tremendously and so much it's almost touching Pflugerville. Alright, back to reviewing this place again. It's grown on the inside since we last came. Read the signs for the entry way. Definitely plenty of parking and seating. I highly recommend sitting outside if it is nice outside or you have kids that you just want to run and play around to get their energy out. I had to stick with my favorite chicken fried steak. It's one of the best places for this country meal. My wife just got a hamburger, I cannot remember which one. Overall, I didn't feel bloated or have to take a to go bag. They do offer alcoholic beverages. The service with the staff is still amazing and professional. The staff provided us a delightful customer experience. They do accept Apple Pay; however, not where you order in front of you. I recommend this place as it's one of the best locally owned places in the area.

We love this place because it's so close to our house & has a great space in the back for kids to run around and play! We've taken many guests to this spot because all the food is fried food that's easy to please and yummy!

Me and the Mrs decided to stop in here again for an evening meal. I got the double cheeseburger which was almost more than I could handle and her grilled chicken salad was fresh and tasty. Dbl Cheeseburger, salad, onion rings, and two craft beers came to $45 without tip. Read the previous review for more information.

This is one of those places to which I immediately start planning a return visit. It sounded like a good place for lunch when I was in the area, so I came hungry. There's a walk up counter for placing your order, so don't make the embarrassing mistake I made and assume the customer leaning against what looks like a hostess stand will seat you. The lady who took actually my order was helpful and friendly, and got my Fried Catfish basket to me so quickly that I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh-from-the-fryer my food tasted. The catfish was among the best I've had anywhere, and the four fillets were more than I could finish. The one I took home tasted nearly as good after I popped it in the air fryer hours later. The fries and hush puppies were also good, and I enjoyed it all on a really nice covered patio overlooking a big yard. The rest of the menu also looked good. I'll be back for CFS, burgers, or chicken.

I was craving for a fried chicken burger so I decided to try this from Good Luck Grill. Mỹ go to is always their burgers because they make it consistently exceptional and welled seasoned. My fried chicken burger was drier than this Texas summer heat. It was rough and under seasoned. The chicken breast have been pounded out too thin. Their chili cheese fries however is the best chili cheese fries I've had in a while! That chili was delicious and I will order that again when I return! Cheese was gooey and melted with the chili. The fries cheese pull was awesome. We devour that chili cheese fries! The chili was not spicy which is great for a nonspicy eater like myself. Just thinking of the chili cheese fries is making me crave for it. I will be stop by soon to get a burger and chili cheese fries!!

Everything on the menu is fried, except the hamburgers and tastes like it came off a Schwan's truck. Very Disappointed!

We've been twice for lunch, but yesterday we spontaneously decided to break routine and go out for breakfast. We're still off of our diets after vacation in Paris, and we both secretly wanted to extend vacation (and indulgent food) one more day before facing work and healthy habits on Monday. Normally we get eggs for breakfast at other diners, but this time we were thinking alike, and decided to get the thing most unlike what we regularly eat - waffles topped with bananas, chocolate chips, and peanut butter, with chicken on the side. Sugar free syrup was an option, thankfully, because I have to reign it in somewhere. The waffle wasn't quite as crispy as I like, but with all those toppings it would be hard for it to be bad! However, the chicken tenders were the surprise hit of the meal! They were moist and the breading was light and crispy. There were quite a few people there on a Sunday morning, and some seemed to be regulars. I'd like to find something on the menu that wows me so that we become regulars too, but so far it's coming in at just satisfactory. Since we don't allow ourselves many treat meals, the calories really have to be worth it to keep coming back. We'll give it a few more tries. Our servers were extremely friendly. I want to love this place! We'll try a few more times and see what the verdict is!

It feels like you are sitting in your home kitchen, the staff are very nice, and the atmosphere is typical Texas Diner, and there is nothing wrong with that! Few pictures, and good ole classic cheeseburger! 1lb of meat... good luck, taste great but sheesh, it's hefty, the quesadilla is 10/10 with chicken, idk why it just bangs every time! And the very classic egg omelette! Get the diced potatoes, it's all divine! LASTLY and probably most important! THEY HAVE HOMEMADE CAKE AND PIE by the slice. It's expensive, listen to me here, it's worth the price, massive slices and fresh every day and THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!

Some of the best food comes from places your GPS forgot to brag about. The menu is HUGE, and they even had a daily special posted. Our table tackled: Tortilla Burger (whatever the official name is... I'd order it again!) Philly Cheesesteak & Fries Shrimp Po' Boy Orleans Pasta Fried Mac & Cheese Balls Everything came out hot, fresh, and in portions big enough to make tomorrow's lunch jealous. Now... let's talk onion rings. LORT. Hand-breaded. Golden. Crunchy. And about the size of a toddler's bracelet. Order them. Just trust me. The shrimp on the Po' Boy? Big, juicy, perfectly cooked, and definitely hand-breaded--not those little frozen shrimp trying to fool anybody. A few more reasons we'll be back: Breakfast served ALL DAY. BYOB. The waffle was soft, fluffy, buttery, and cooked just right--paired perfectly with the chicken. I also tried the gumbo (added shrimp). The flavor was definitely there, rich and well-developed with a great consistency on the roux. For me personally, it was just a tad on the salty side--but honestly, not enough to take away from the overall experience. Even the cabbage was seasoned perfectly and cooked just right--nothing on the table was bland. This is one of those spots where you can taste the care in every dish. Flavor everywhere, no shortcuts. Five stars all the way. I'll definitely be back.

Server was attentive and my coffee stayed filled (with a small caveat I'll speak to below). Atmosphere was simple. "Modern" diner experience. I had the Counter Benedict, wife had the biscuits and gravy, son had the breakfast taco. Breakfast potatoes were very good. Crisp, pillowy, and properly seasoned. Pastrami on the Benedict was very good. Poached eggs were well cooked and silky as expected. Flour tortilla in the breakfast taco was also good. Sausage in the gravy was slightly spicy and delicious. Now, the negatives: Coffee was lukewarm after my first cup. Coffee needs to be hot. One of the biscuits in my Benedict was overcooked and dry as a bone. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy is sweet for some reason. Normally I want more gravy, but when my wife couldn't finish her breakfast, I had 0 desire to eat it. Not sure why it's sweet but it's weird. Overall we liked it so we will be back. The prices are very reasonable for Austin, and they have Valentina as a hot sauce option (which is excellent).
