    Avocado Toast

Took a drive out to eat here today and it was incredible! The furniture and jewel tone design was beautiful and set a nice ambience. We sat at the bar and tried a few drinks that the bartenders came up with and they were all deliciously crafted, nothing like I've tried before (but am gonna want all the time!) We got the avocado toast and the garbage plate that was served in a skillet. They really elevated the flavors of the avocado toast and the "garbage plate" looked amazing. I'll 100% be back to try their dinner specials and the different drinks they create. One of my new favorite spots and it was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

We ate here because we were camping here through Harvest Host. The college students had just come back for the new school year, so it was a little busy and lively. There is a lot of nice outdoor seating, and the views are gorgeous. There is a brewery here, so it had an extensive beer list and many wines. The food menu was more limited than I would've liked, but everything was really good.

Happy Tuesday my fellow Adventurers! I've been coming to this location for the past 2 years when I'm in the area for a glamping trip. It never disappoints! Though I will say I happen to be there the day after their pizza oven wasn't working, which sucked because I really enjoyed their pizza. I ended up getting the flat bread, I wasn't really into it. The crust was pretty soft, and the sauce made the whole thing soggy? Tasted fine, but I have a thing with textures. I did order the fries, which were really good(good portion size), but definitely ask if they can fry them a bit I recommend asking for the aioli sauce aoili sauce, which made them more rich. I also ordered the mesclun salad and pumpkin ale. Both were really good, thought as far as pumpkin ales I do prefer mine with a cinnamon sugared rim. The best part about this is the patio ONLY is dog friendly! I travel with my pup and always love when I can enjoy the ambiance with him. I recommend if you come around the time I did (late October) bring extra jacket and bundle. The patio can be quite chilly when the sun starts to go down. Its a huge patio area with picnic tables and lights. I did not notice if there were heating lamps since the inside was open. This is a college town however I saw plenty of mixed groups. Great for large parties!

Food was bomb. Pulled pork and garlic parm fries are 10/10. Beer was alright. We got 2 beer flights and the beer was kinda warm (thats why I took away 1 star). Theres live music on Wednesday which was a great vibe. Huge outdoor seating area. Our waiter (I WISH I GOT HIS NAME, he was wearing a sponge-bob mask) was absolutely phenomenal. He was super friendly, fast, and personable. Really, best waiter. This was a good time for a random Wednesday night. Definitely recommend coming for the live music!

The dirty snowman was off the chain. They actually had a nfl game on which was cool. Wish they put the games on regularly. Didn't try the food but the beers were good and friendly service. Nice simple space and lots of parking

I went inside to order a drink and some food and was passed by twice before the woman said she'd be with me. Another younger girl came over and asked if I wanted to order something. Odd questions since I'd been standing there looking at the menu that was on the bar as well as looking at the beers they had listed on the board. I ordered a wheat blonde beer and told her I also wanted to place a food order. She told me I couldn't do that there, and said I needed to order from the food truck table. That table had a chalkboard with their three specials, different items than the bar menu so I ordered off of that, was given a pager and headed outside (The food truck girl was very kind and asked where I was sitting but I hadn't picked a table yet) I ordered a cauliflower margarita pizza which was just the right size to pair with my beer. It came out quick and hot and tasted good. I sat at my table eating alone and enjoying the music but found that that's what everyone was doing. Sitting at their own tables. Enjoying the music or conversing amongst themselves but keeping to themselves. For a brewery with live music on a sunny Saturday afternoon it was just ok.

I found out that they often have events like live music and bingo. The large room allowed the class to go on away from the main bar and high top table area. Orders are placed at the bar and the one bartender working had things running smoothly. I ordered a Watermelon Wheaton beer and loaded nachos. I immediately got my beer and got a pager for my food. There were a few regular tables along the perimeter among the high top tables but I chose to sit at the bar. The other patrons were very friendly and included me in their conversation. The beer was crisp and cold. The food came out rather quickly. The nachos were topped with beer cheese, fresh pico de gallo, sour cream, and scallions. There was a very generous amount of sour cream so I didn't have to worry about just eating chips. The bartender kept everyone served and knew what the regulars drank. She checked on me regularly. My only disappointment is that as summer comes to an end I will have to wait until next year to attend the events they have at the brewery.

Any other time, if you are not a regular, this place might not be for you. I've been here several times with mixed experiences. The last time I was there was a Thursday in the summer of 2024. My husband, brother and I were excited to find seats at the bar and order dinner. The bartender was a short blonde woman and there was a male bar back. The bartender did not acknowledge us for over 15 minutes. We were actively looking at the menu on our phones and talking about what we wanted to try and attempted to make eye contact with her as she walked by us with no luck. She didn't even say "I will be right with you", literally no interaction. She was very friendly with everyone else around us seeming to know exactly what they were drinking and happy to get it for them. We left as we felt very unwelcome there and ended up having excellent service down the street at Lukin's.

We found this little gem and holy toledo did we we strike gold. First of all, the hostess was super nice and greeted us right away even though she was clearly busy and hustling. We chose to sit outside at a picnic table to soak up the beautiful weather. The outside is fun with brightly painted picnic tables and murals on the building. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great suggestions. She was great and we really enjoyed interacting with her. We started with rum punches which were made with freshly squeezed juice and they were out of this world. We shared the "everything" wings which were crispy and that sauce was delicious. We were tempted to lick the sauce off the plate. We refrained so we didn't get strange looks. I had the Kimchi Reuben which is made with house made kimchi I might add. My husband got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. We both opted for Poutine Fries for our sides. Guys, this food was unique and spectacular. I'm just bummed it's 3 hours from home! But I'll definitely make an effort to be back.
