I recently purchased a pair of Jacques Marie Mage frames from Good See Co. and while the product itself was excellent, the customer service and fulfillment experience were disappointing--especially considering the nearly $1,000 price point. My first attempt to contact the company was through Facebook on March 21 regarding availability of the Jacques Marie Mage Lucknow in Beluga. I never received a response. I then sent an email on March 26 and also received no reply. Because I was trying to confirm whether the frames were physically in stock before purchasing, I eventually had to call the store directly from overseas at approximately 4:00 AM local time due to the time difference. During that call, I asked why I had not received responses to either my Facebook message or email and was told my inquiry may have been "lost in all the emails." I was also informed that the optical frames I originally wanted were no longer available, but that the sunglasses version was still available instead. I ultimately placed the order on April 10 (April 9 U.S. time) and received a shipping confirmation and tracking number two days later. However, despite advertised 2-day shipping, the tracking remained at "label created" with no movement for over a week. I reached out again on April 19 to ask why the package had still not shipped. I was then told there had been issues with USPS pickups related to military/DPO shipping requirements and was assured the package would ship within 48 hours. To be fair, the frames did eventually arrive and were authentic, properly packaged, and in excellent condition. The product itself was great. However, for luxury eyewear at this price level, I expected significantly better communication, responsiveness, and shipping transparency. Customers should not have to repeatedly follow up across multiple platforms or make international calls in the middle of the night simply to confirm inventory and shipment status. Overall: - Excellent product quality - Poor communication - Frustrating fulfillment experience - Customer service that did not match the luxury pricing I'm happy with the frames themselves, but the overall buying experience left a lot to be desired. read more

I bought a few glasses here and I really like it. They have brands that are only available here that happen to fit my head that I could not find elsewhere. More importantly, like always, I tend to scratch or bend the arms of the glasses. And I can tell you that their service is fantastic each time I walk back in they are quick to help. This time Reza helped me with glasses that I thought were unrecoverable. It was great!. Lastly, you can't beat the location. It's kind of nice to take a lunch break. Excellent customer service and products. I've ordered three pairs of frames from Good See. The last pair was a custom order. After inquiring as to whether they were able to source the frames from the manufacturer, they promptly responded that they could at a very reasonable price. I'm moved forwarded with the purchase, received the framed and they're exactly what I wanted. Shipped two day air (I'm on the East Coast so that was nice) Oh, and their communication though out the process was excellent. Just a word of advice: if you go the custom order route it helps to have reasonable expectations about shipping times. Good See can provide a good faith estimate but they don't control when they ship from the manufacturer. In some cases the frames may need to be made. Just the selection of eyewear itself is worth five stars, but the service really qualifies them for an "extraordinary" rating. I flew in from the Bay Area with the express purpose of finding eyeglasses from Good See. I know how that sounds, but I had miles, so the plane ticket was $15. I just got sick of having to make appointments in the Bay Area to browse frames, only to find that they didn't have brands or models that I really want to try on. I must have gone to a dozen places here in the Bay Area, and I feel like I not only wasted my time but the time of the folks in those businesses. Good See is the antidote to all of this. They have a terrific online presence, so I could see what they carry (hint: It's a lot); they carry the best lenses on the market; and they have strong relationships with labs to get my complex prescription done quickly. (Last time I got glasses from a place in the Bay Area, it took nearly a month.) The person who helped me at Good See is named Tina. She threaded the needle between encouraging my initial interests and encouraging me to try on other styles. And, while I ended up buying something that was already on my short list, I also found the next pair of glasses I want to buy. Incredibly beautiful craftsmanship. very light, but solid as a rock...the lenses are so incredibly thin...not even sure how it's possible to have gotten them so thin given my prescription. my only issue is i got progressive lenses, and given the small size of the lense diameters, the different distance zones on the lenses are just too close together. i should've just gotten single distance lenses. maybe i'll get used to them, but as of now, they just give me headaches. that is all on me though. they are genuinely gorgeous. pardon my late night hair. This was actually for the online store. I first asked the e-commerce manager Farasat on a Friday at 8:50 AM how fast he could ship something because I informed him I needed sunglasses before a specific time (the following Thursday) as a gift. He then responded several hours later stating the sunglasses I ordered would ship if I ordered within the next 1 hour. When I placed my order within the hour, he then told me that because I selected the 2 day complimentary shipping that my order would then ship out the following Monday. I did not opt for the $50 additional shipping because the sunglasses I was ordering would have been shipped to the neighboring county from Good See Co. Now, had I been informed that they would not ship them within the time frame as agreed, I would not have purchased from them. On Sunday, I then emailed Farasat again, reminding him and stating that I needed my order by a specific time. I also informed him that if he could not ship them timely to cancel my order and to refund me. He did not respond to me the following day after they were back open for business, and he still has not responded to that email. Farasat was quick to respond when taking my money though. Because I received no response, I called the shop with the hopes that they had fulfilled their promise or what they had led me to believe by shipping today. When I called, Farasat then told me that they got a lot of orders from Friday, and that it didn't look like this would ship today so he will just cancel my order because it won't make it in time. Farasat did nothing to even try to rectify the situation or even offer an apology, but instead, I then felt he wasted my time and strung me along. In short, if you are in a hurry, do not buy from this place. Their customer service was lackluster, irresponsible, and your order after specifically informing them of its importance is low on their priority list which is a shame considering you're spending hundreds of dollars for sunglasses. I only went with them because they were the closest to me, but you can find whatever they have cheaper elsewhere where customer service actually exists as Entourage of 7 has more dealers now. Now I feel I was blatantly lied to during the entire process. I would avoid this place at all costs. If you look at his response, instead of acknowledging any remorse, he blames the incident on me. Their 10% discount also never works on anything you want to buy. So never opt into there emails as they are just spam. Now I have to scramble because of their lies. read more
