Very standard Chinese take out. Online ordering is convenient. I requested my chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce instead of the regular brown sauce and the garlic sauce tasted very funky. However, the other entree we ordered was good. Worth ordering from here if you're in the area and want Chinese.

Last weekend we at here and I'm finally getting to write the review...nothing was really bad, just nothing was great either. The one main problem we had was with the Crab Rangoon - the centers were raw (uncooked wonton wrapper) and there was little to no crab filling. We each took a bite and threw out the rest. Shrimp egg roll - two small shrimp in each one Pork egg roll - no issues Chicken & Broccoli- bland Shrimp and Lobster sauce - lots of big shrimp but again, bland Fried Rice - didn't appear to actually be fried, no crispy bits, there was lots of pork, but again bland Shrimp Lo Mein - tiny shrimp, even less flavor

Chef's specialty with shrimp, chicken, and beef, over crunchy rice noodles

Enjoy their egg rolls! Usually get chicken and broccoli & really like the sauce with the brown rice. Good egg drop soup too.

Ordered takeout -- food was good, prices were fair, and everything was packed well. I'd definitely order again.

Nice folks and good food. The chicken fried rice is made with white meat! Good quality and has a nice variety of choices.

Best take out in the area, staff is friendly. There was a price hike recently but the lunch special is still a good value.

The delicate…read morewontons were packed with flavorful filling and coated in a rich, aromatic chili oil that delivered the perfect balance of heat, spice, and savory depth. The sauce had just enough numbing warmth without overpowering the dish, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. The texture combination of silky wrappers and bold sauce made it an unforgettable starter. Beyond the appetizer, the restaurant offered a warm atmosphere and attentive service that made the dining experience even better. The presentation was thoughtful, portions were generous, and the flavors tasted authentic and carefully prepared. If you enjoy dishes with a little spice and a lot of flavor, the wontons in chili oil are absolutely worth ordering. I would definitely come back just for them.

When it comes to food, I never judge a burger by its bun, so thanks to Yelp for helping me find it. The sign in the window says "Asian fusion" which usually sends me running as it's often a cop-out label for bad mixed-up Asian cooking, but this is authentic y'all, meaning true-to-tradition dishes with a sometimes more contemporary application of ingredients or flavors. The "fusion" part must come from the fact that they have a small Taiwanese section as well as the main Szechuan/Sichuan menu, alongside a few familiar Chinese-American favorites like sesame chicken or broccoli x protein, so you can get that here too. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! Great flavors, generous portions, cooked with confidence and finesse. Compliments to the kitchen - they really know what they're doing. Not a single dish was lacking. They even put out peanuts at the start and serve fresh orange slices at the end of the meal. Very old school. We loved it all: * Salt & white pepper crispy chicken ("Taiwanese specialty") - well-battered and flavored, and perfectly crispy * Taiwanese minced pork rice * Chicken red curry - fabulous, with fresh vegetables and just the right balance of spice * Golden dish (fish) - very special dish in a salted duck egg yolk batter * Beef chow fun * Marinated crispy duck Wish I lived closer, but will definitely come back when we are in the area. Best of the best - very highly recommended!

Service was brusque and certainly more efficient in Chinese; my English was basically slower by a factor of at least 3. And yes, they are spicy, so not a place I enjoyed so much but others in the group liked spicy so they were good. Large square hot pots split into two soups if you wanted with a single clear broth in the center circle in case you needed to cook something not as spicy. A few different broth choices; some at an extra cost (like the pickled mustard + intestine). Meats, seafood, some fried dishes, veggies and noodles all available. Sauces much more limited than what I'm used to elsewhere, and the soy sauce is just labeled as a "special sauce". Big tank of sesame oil, though, that seems to be used a lot by the folks who frequent this particular style of hotpot, so it makes sense. Special dishes like the green pepper-covered beef are great for those who like spice. Meatballs and house made shrimp balls were ok. The noodle I asked how long it'd take to cook, and they basically told me to test like I would with spaghetti- take a piece, break it open and see if it's fully cooked. No sense of time or anything extra in the way of service. Overall too spicy and oily for me, but the lamb was good quality and the ice jelly dessert was an interesting mix of clear jelly, sour plum-like juice and some dessert haw flakes and spices. Not very sweet. Water pitcher and other service items (napkins, chopsticks) were provided initially but for any refills or additional plates, chopsticks, etc. you had to call waitstaff over. Didn't change plates or anything for us. They do take credit cards. Clean and large space, while I'd expected more ventilation, didn't walk out feeling overwhelmed with aromas so something was going for it. Seats were comfortable and they didn't rush us out.

China Moon has always been a very good go-to option for good takeout. It's small/medium in size. There used to be a couple tables for dine-in but I don't see them anymore. Perhaps that's a COVID change. The counter employee's have always been friendly and quick to take my order. Food is also prepared pretty quickly which makes it a good option if you decide to walk in and order as opposed to call in advance then picking it up. I personally wouldn't consider it traditional in flavor. There are traditional Chinese options but like most neighborhood Chinese takeout, the food has taken on an American flare. That doesn't mean it's bad. I've been to traditional Chinese places and the same dishes taste decidedly different. China Moon offers very good neighborhood takeout. A few dishes I consistently order & like there are: Chicken Chow Mein Chow Mei Fun Beef & Broccoli Beef & Garlic Sauce Rib Tips (so yummy) General's chicken Chicken wings (really good if made fresh!)
