You can pick cookies or brownies for your sandwich, and the combinations are endless. The service is great and everything feels fresh and thoughtfully made. The inside is a bit small, but this location has a really nice lawn and patio area where you can sit and enjoy your treat. It's the perfect place to hang out, especially on a warm day. Pro tip: choose two different cookies so you can try more than one flavor, and always get your sandwich warmed up. It takes it to a whole new level. Such a unique and delicious stop in Austin.

I mean you can see for yourself that the ice cream sandwich looks 10 out of 10 fire. I did the custom ice cream sandwich with vanilla ice cream two different cookies- one was the gooey butter cake (overpowering after a few bites) did not finish & the other was like a oreo & cookie mix (much better) and did finish. Vanilla ice cream was decent, but nothing special. I might get it again if I was in the area and really had a sweet tooth, but I would definitely go for some different flavors because they just didn't hit the same this time.

My husband and I originally ordered 2 of the plain churros to share, but we ended up getting two extra orders of this after our first order because they were that good. I also tried a few drinks that my friends ordered from here and were also pleasantly surprised by them! This is a small food truck with only one person working in it, so be patient but the churros are definitely worth the wait. Service was friendly! There are several picnic benches where you can sit and enjoy your treat (be careful about all the bugs though, I got a bunch of bites from sitting here).

The staff was friendly and happy to answer our questions, and our order was ready in just a couple minutes! I got the Matcha-Cha off the seasonal menu, which had a great balance of matcha flavor and lightly sweet strawberry ice cream. The roasted walnuts added a really nice break in texture, which I loved. My husband ordered the Campfire with added ice cream, which was rich and very chocolaty. The charred marshmallow on top was a great touch and made it extra indulgent. Overall, a great late night dessert stop with solid flavors and friendly service. Definitely worth checking out when you're craving something sweet!

My favorite ice cream flavors have been ube and the Earl grey but you really can't go wrong. They have limited parking spots but often people will park along the side of the road when it's busy. Theres a few seats in front of the shop and a cute lighted outdoor area with picnic benches to the side. Highly highly recommend a visit, especially given how late they are open at night and night time soft serve is the best! The only thing I always struggle with is not getting the taiyaki with ice cream drip all over me, so I highly recommend getting a cup to flip it over into!

I was craving Ube and might have gone a bit overboard on ordering dessert because they had so many Ube options. The building is colorful and decorated in bright pink with fun artwork and decor for an uplifting vibe. The line moved quickly and the service was friendly fast and efficient. I was able to place my order and pay with Apple Pay. I ordered the Taiyaki Sundae with black sesame and ube swirl soft serve served in a fish shaped mochi Belgian style waffle with Oreo dust on top. You can customize your sundae with filling like organic red sweet beans, Nutella or custard and toppings like Oreo dust, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles. I ate this on site and the nutty black sesame balanced the sweet ube perfectly, and the Oreo topping added the best crunch. They had a variety of mochi donut flavors. Lucky for me, nothing was sold out today. I ordered the Oreo ube mochi donut and ube milk tea to-go. I ate the mochi donut later that day and it was probably my least favorite item from my order. It had the chewy mochi texture however I didn't get enough of the rich ube flavor. It had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste and the Oreo overpowered the ube. I drank the ube milk tea the next day and it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the beverage and would order it again. Overall, enjoyed my selections and will be back to try more dessert options and flavors from one of the most unique Asian dessert spots in Austin!

Gordough's is one of those places that fully commits to indulgence. I was able to place my order online and schedule for pick up. The order was ready when I arrived. Parking was a bit challenging and the lot was full and they charge for parking. Service was quick, casual, just good energy and fast turnaround. I ordered my tried and true Miss Shortcake with their famous cake donut with cream cheese icing and fresh cut strawberries. The donut is so indulgent and was served warm with the most delectable flavor combinations. Tried the Son of a Peach with cream cheese icing, spiced peach filling, cake mix topping, cinnamon and sugar with honey butter. This one was a bit too overindulgent and sweet for my liking but was definitely worth a try. Portions are huge and can be shared as the donut is not as good warmed over. The staff were friendly when we got our drinks, but the exchange was brief. The space, though, is super Instagrammable with lots of playful decor. Parking is a little tight out front, with some extra spots along the side street. I ordered the crème brûlée taro milk tea with boba, and my husband got the regular crème brûlée milk tea with boba. Flavor-wise it was good, but my drink had a lot happening texture-wise. Between the crystallized sugar, grainy taro, and boba, it caught me by surprise. Once everything was mixed together, it was fine, just not my favorite. Still a fun spot with creative drinks, and I'd be open to trying something else next time!

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.
