This is the newest location in Austin and seems a bit roomier inside than the others although it may just be my imagination. It's next to the new Sprouts (that used to be a Staples) in what I believe used to be part of a Lane Bryant, so things have certainly changed in this shopping center. Thankfully there's plenty of parking and the shopping center is conveniently located near I-35. But of course the cakes are the important part and are the same quality I've come to expect from Nothing Bundt Cakes. It's great for parties or family events with large bundt cakes available and tiny bundtinis, but I always just get the bundtlets that are the size of a generous cupcake and come in plenty of flavors. I love trying the new flavor of the month every month and recommend the pineapple upside down cake if you ever catch it in the rotation! I recommend ordering ahead if you have a large order for a party and they can work with your needs. There are also some limited party supplies available in store if you need decorations to go with a cake or make it into a special presentation. It's all a bit expensive but nice for a special treat, and the bundtlets are often on a BOGO sale if you're watching out for it and stay on their email list.

The pumpkin spice and caramel apple cider are both great for seasonal options, although some are a miss (looking at you, churro dulce de leche).

I really didn't want to like these donuts, because who needs a $9 donut, right? But I have to…read moreadmit, they far exceeded my expectations. Just to be clear, I AM somewhat of a subject matter expert. I have eaten all manner of fried dough creations from coast to coast, including Hawaii, and I have a lot to say on the topic. My favorite is still Cider Belly in Albany, NY, but I digress. The PB&J donut here is one of the best things I have ever eaten. I dragged it out for 3 days. Even semi-stale, and reheated in the microwave, it was still delicious. I put a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream on it which definitely helped. I also ordered a Heavenly Hash (one of my favorite ice cream flavors BTW) and a Naughty and Nice because I am all about the classics. They were both outstanding. No leftovers. I bought these donuts in lieu of birthday cake this year which may become my new tradition. Honestly, I think these are my new favorite donuts in Austin now.

Doughnuts made to order out of an airstream, you say?…read more Looks like they used to offer mini versions but that side of the menu is all mask taped over. When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

Both times I ordered custom cookies, and the whole process was incredibly smooth. If you've ever ordered decorated cookies before, you know the process can sometimes feel complicated with designs, quantities, timelines, etc., but their team made it super easy from start to finish. What really stood out to me was the customer service. The staff were amazing and incredibly responsive, answering all of my questions and making sure everything was clear before placing the order. They made the entire experience feel effortless, which I really appreciated. And of course, the cookies themselves were beautifully decorated. The designs were clean, detailed, and exactly what I was hoping for. They're the kind of cookies that look almost too pretty to eat -- but once you do, you realize they taste great too. These are perfect for events, gifts, or special occasions, especially if you want something personalized that still feels high-quality and professional. Would I order again? Absolutely. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for another event or gift

What we got this time were the lemon poppyseed and the tropical with pineapple and coconut flakes. Both are just delicious. Their style of cake is dense, but still moist and flavor is incredible. We also got the half dozen mini cupcakes. The standout from the mini cupcakes was the red velvet with cream cheese frosting. Must-try bake shop if you haven't been! My kids are prolific frosting eaters. They never really eat the cake- and they're big fans. We get the minis and they enjoy looking in the case and picking their own. I did take one star off because my kids and friends kid were being typical toddlers. They were in a silly post-swim class mood and were giggling and dancing around as we ordered. The staff seemed overwhelmed and I started to feel rushed. I had basic requests, "put one vanilla cupcake in a separate bag as it's a gift. Make the rest to go" etc. I was sort of made to feel like we were too much. Kids aren't for everyone- trust me I know they are overstimulating. But this shop is a delight to their little eyes, please don't make them feel unwelcome.
