Nice spot to stop in for a sweet treat!! Love that this place mixes their ice cream like cold stone for the perfect integration of toppings. I got the one with all the cookie toppings and the textures and amount of toppings was so well done and so rich!!

This is such a good, nostalgic icecream spot! I got one of the special mix ins and it was delicious! I got it with sweet cream, strawberry, and sprinkles!

What even is Austin without Amy's? Our one true love. I've never had a time at Amy's that I didn't enjoy. Every single flavor is a hit, the ambience is always a good mix of chill and fun, and there's always something interesting to look at. I really like this location because it's close to a lot of fun things yet neatly tucked away so you can hide from the busy noise and crowds. If you e never been to an Amy's for ice cream, what are you waiting for?!

Stopped by for a treat and it hit the spot! I got the mint chocolate, and they topped it with Andes chocolate pieces, so it was double the minty goodness. My friend got Belgian chocolate and coffee in a waffle cone though the thickness became a bit too much halfway through. Everything was super creamy, flavorful, and the service was fast and friendly as always.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Holy cr*p this is the best sweet cream ice cream I've ever had. The quality and texture was freaking perfect. I bet the other flavors are just as good. Y'all need to come to Dallas please!!!! Parking is a bit difficult but this is so worth it. The service was also wonderful, the girl that helped us was super nice and full of energy.

Small Dark Chocolate Fudge with whipped cream

Not gonna lie. I've slept on Amy's for the 7 years I've lived in Austin until today and it did not disappoint. I stayed basic (because on the first try you have to confirm that a place can do basic good), and I ordered a small of the dark chocolate fudge with rainbow sprinkles and whipped cream. While I do prefer the real whipped (they use some sort of cool whip type), the server was MVP surprising me by asking if I wanted the sprinkles on top or mixed in. Like cold stone style? Yessir. Both staff members were super sweet and easy to work with. Young, and put in the work with a long line! Pro tip: sign up for their newsletter and show your ID on your birthday and you get a free scoop. Definitely looking forward to returning to celebrate ringing in a new year with Amy's.

Delicious ice cream! They have unique ice cream names and flavors. I tried the coffee, which is your typical coffee flavor, but creamier! I also tried the white lightning, which is their ice cream that is flavored white mocha and contains 5% alcohol. It was a good balance and was sweet from the white mocha flavor. The staff worker was super kind and patient and let us try as many flavors we wanted to. The ice cream shop is pretty big with plenty of seating to hangout. If I end up in Austin again, I would for sure stop by for some dessert!

This place has a unique vibe and really good ice cream. Similar to cold stones but with its own special touch. Decent customer service and cool atmosphere

I discovered this location while looking for the best ice cream in Austin and with the help of yelp I found Amy's. I ended up going on two different occasions due to the ice cream being very good. While the ice cream is high quality the same can be said for the friendly and helpful service. On my first trip, I sampled sweet cream, vanilla, and Oreo. I ended up getting a large cup of sweet cream with Oreo toppings chopped in (8.57$ after taxes). The ice cream was very creamy and rich and got better with each spoonful. On my next trip, I sampled vanilla, Mexican vanilla, Belgian choclate, and sweet cream. I ended up getting a pint of vanilla, Mexican vanilla, and sweet cream with Oreos chopped in (10.76$ after taxes). The pint wasn't as good as the first time I had it but it was still good. Amy's ice cream is a pretty good ice cream spot that I would recommend to all and return to if in the area.

Amy's Ice Cream has some of the creamiest, delightful flavors. Their ice cream came highly recommended from some locals, and my friend and I indulged in a few samples. The quality of the dairy is evident, and their portions are quite generous. Being in Austin, I knew I had to go with the butter pecan, topped with pecan praline sauce. It is meant for those with a sweet tooth- that's for sure, but it was totally worth every calorie! Also nice that they have a location at the Austin airport if you need one last fix. Considering the quality, fresh pecans, and price- it is quite the deal (calories and all).

The three of us each grabbed three flavors (F, E, D--haha, funny, right?) and rated each one with sugary zeal. Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint (F, E) - delicious, subtly minty, with a very creamy, mild beet flavor. I never had such a refreshing ice cream that wasn't sorbet. The mint really made a difference. I'm a huge fan of places that curate exotic flavors (a vegetable, really?) into their menu, which only increased my opinion of this place. Hill Country Honey & Vanilla Bean (E) - one of the smoothest vanilla bean ice creams I've had. It reminds me of a traditional ice milk soft serve. It wasn't the most impressive vanilla ice cream I've ever had, but it was still very good in its own right. Dark Chocolate, Olive Oil & Sea Salt (E, D) - such a great balance to the sweetness of the rest of the ice cream options. I always love little chunks of salt in sweets to cut through the sugary intensity, so this one was an instant favorite. GOAT Cheese, Thyme, and Honey (E, D) - a complete 100% hit. Probably my top, alongside the beets. My BFF said it tasted too much like a meal rather than a dessert and couldn't give it a high rating, but as a charcuterie fan, I know there are plenty of "dessert" cheeses. I mean... cream cheese, for example? But is that really a cheese...? Uhhh. Very Strawberry (F) - a clean strawberry flavor. A bit artificial, but still so great. It far outweighed the Sweet Cream w. Strawberry flavor we tasted later. Cookies & Cream (F) - I never liked cookies & cream before, but this changed my mind. It hits so hard when you get a full spoonful. Probably the only cookies & cream I would eat. My BFF's #1. Chocolate Chocolate (F) - love chocolate? Get this. That's all you need to know. Coffee & Cream (D) - oooh, reminds me of the keto coffee ice cream I had once. Would get again. Coffee notes are always great in ice cream. Was this a STRONG standout? No. But did it do its job? Yes. Sweet Cream w. Strawberry (D) - too creamy for me, not enough strawberry. My top flavors by far are: 1) Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint, 2) GOAT Cheese, Thyme, and Honey, and 3) Dark Chocolate, Olive Oil & Sea Salt. All three were unique flavors that I would absolutely get again. We sat on the little barstools watching the line get progressively longer as the night went on. It was really interesting to see how many people came in for a sweet treat at 11 PM. The atmosphere was pleasant, parking was pretty easy, and while it never got too crowded, the place was surprisingly popular.

Quite busy at 8:15PM on a Sunday! About ten people ahead of us and only two people working so it took about 10-15mins with people asking for samples and such. While we were there, it was always a packed line so it definitely gets really busy from 8-9PM! We got three larges for a total of twelve flavors, a little bit of overlap: Mine: Dark Chocolate Olive Oil and Sea Salt - Really liked this, the bitter saltiness offset the creaminess really well. Coffee with Cream - A very light but roasty coffee, like a light coffee. I liked this!; Goat Cheese, Thyme and Honey - The herbal flavor is more subtle than I expected! Not too sweet, liked this one Sweet Cream & Strawberry - this one didn't stand out much to me Others: Roasted Beets and Fresh Mint - I really liked this one! The beets and mint hit on the back of your tongue, yum Chocolate Chocolate - Very intense chocolate, not too crazy about it though Cookies & Cream - Surprisingly good! I liked this one Very Strawberry - way more strawberry than the sweet cream. I'd recommend this over the sweet cream and strawberry Hill Country Honey & Vanilla Bean - Pretty light, a classic. Thought it was okay. If I had a tier list it would be: 1) Coffee with Cream 2) Goat Cheese 3) Dark Chocolate Olive Oil 4) Roasted Beets and Mint 5) Cookies & Cream 6) Very Strawberry 7) Vanilla Bean 8) Chocolate Chocolate 9) Sweet Cream & Strawberry Overall, a few hits, a few misses, but it was a fun tasting experience. We paid via inKind with no issues, which made it a pretty solid value.

It's not a sitdown place so keep that in mind for your stop, but the line does move fast and they are very efficient. There's a good variety of flavors and things they serve from italian ice to ice cream and shakes. We opted for a strawberry italian ice with condensed milk on top. From the first bite we were in heaven. The flavor is very thorough which is not always the case for Italian ices where it can sometimes be a bit muted. Every single bite of this was packed with flavor. They also carve out a bit of the middle to put the condensed milk which makes every bite much more equal than if it was just placed at the top. This was by far one of, if not the best, Italian ices we've ever had. We would very much recommend it to anyone in the Downtown area looking to cool off.
