Their only solution was to put a thin paper mat on my floor, even though it's snowing and the roads are full of slush and salt. A paper mat does nothing to protect my carpet, and now I'm forced to drive with my interior at risk for staining, moisture damage, and excessive dirt. They apologized but still charged full price and offered no real resolution -- just a comment that the other customer "comes weekly," which doesn't help me at all today. Mistakes happen, but responsible businesses offer actual solutions. A temporary rubber mat, a replacement, or reimbursement would have been reasonable. Instead, I left with my car unprotected. Very disappointing experience.

I had been driving with my Dodge Grand Caravan's brakes going bad knowing that I had at least one…read morebad rotor that I should've replaced when I did the front pads a couple years ago and saw the banner for brakes all the way around for $350 at New Spark Auto and decided to go for it. I'm glad I did and dropped it off at 9am and sure enough they called me at 12noon as promised to come get it. True to their word and then some they not only included the rotor but found it needed a 2nd one and charged me the same $350+tax and even better than that the ABS light that was on for years was also fixed which restored the traction control system and the van stops on a dime now even in wet,slick road conditions! But it gets even better! I had hit a terrible pothole during a snowstorm in early 2025 and the alloy wheel had split open so badly nobody could figure out how it held air for the trip to the tire shop that didn't have a matching alloy wheel but I had to settle for the closest thing they had and with the new tire got stiffed to the tune of $344! The mechanic at New Spark noticed and mentioned that he had a proper matching rim at home and would bring it back after the weekend if I was interested. Since I no longer had a spare tire and needed one anyway I said sure. Fast forward a few days later and my brother reminded me of that when we were passing by the shop and I stopped in. My brother came out rolling the wheel with a almost new tire and the guy wanted $10!!! Are you kidding me? I handed him the $10 and another $20 bill to which he looked puzzled and tried to give it back and we said no no that's a tip for you and he was really happy with it! I just lucked into finding the best priced,quality auto repair shop and mechanic I could have found in the city of Chicago as far as I'm concerned and I'm sending my daughter to get her Cherokee tuned up and I'd highly recommend New Spark Auto 4115 w 63rd St Chicago IL to anyone else that wants to get their car fixed and still have $$ left in their pocket when they drive away with a job well done.If there was more than 5 stars they'd get em all from me.
