Ok, this place is AWESOME, and I found my new weekly lunch spot. Not only is their pizza good, and the lunch portions are generous, the owner is SUPER friendly. I got the lunch special: 2 (huge) slices of pepperoni pizza, a side salad and a drink for $7.95. But there are a lot of different options. I only ordered from here because I saw a review of the lasagna pizza on Yelp. The pizza I received looks nothing like the one on Yelp.This hardly had any sauce. It was more like a hamburger pizza. New to the area so thought I'd try this place. Delivery was on time, the tiramisu and cheesecake was good and that's why it got three stars. We ordered entrées not the pizza. The food was very greasy it definitely lacked garlic which I tend to expect with my Italian food. Even the garlic knots barely had any garlic on them and were greasy. The online menu does not have descriptions for everything so beware of that. We found out all the subs sandwiches have olives as well as lettuce and tomato, but easy enough to pick off. The sub sandwiches are large so definitely worth the price. Chicken al Vodka (we choose hot) had a lot of grease in the bottom and could have used more flavor. Chicken Carciofi with lemon butter was good (I love mushrooms and artichokes) again could've use some garlic, but how can you go wrong with lemon butter sauce. "Hello slackers." That was the owner's greeting for my brother and I. Jokingly, I whispered to my brother, "how does he know our character traits already?" (It must have been my stubble..) This small, almost hidden, Italian restaurant is located just a couple blocks from my brother's home, so we decided to give it a try. As a starter, we had garlic knots (see pictures) which we dipped in their excellent sauce and quickly eaten. We ordered the calzone and the baked ziti. We both struggled to finish our plates, not because it wasn't tasty, but because it was too much for our slacker selves. As we slowly ate through our plates, we overheard, "hello fellas, hey buddy" countless times. The people were laid-back and friendly. I can tell this place is a regular food choice for people since the waitress and chef greeted many of them by their first name. That's not something you can easily find in Dallas. We ordered a large pizza for the ride home (again, see pictures). Although it was lacking some pizza sauce, it was still perfect for later that night. Pricewise, the dinner was inexpensive, only needing to spend $22 plus tip, yet still leaving us full with a pizza to go. As we were leaving, the owner appropriately bid us farewell. Originally from Long Island, NY., it's very hard to find pizza in Texas that even comes close to New York style pizza. Craig and his crew do an Awesome job of replicating that pizza I grew up on. You'll always be greeted upon entering and thanked as you leave. The restaurant is very clean. They've got a great menu. Craig said they deliver to Sachse but I think I'll just continue to drive up. Definitely worth the trip. All the other pizza establishments have to resort to brochures and specials to get your business. Say what you will about New Yorkers, but we do know pizza. Really disappointed that this didn't turn out better. From the delivery to the final product there is much left to be desired. To be fair I don't know if the delivery issue was on Goodfellas or Eat Street, but the order took nearly an hour and a half to deliver and when it finally got here the pizza was half way folded in the box and our garlic knots looked like someone had crushed them. Nevertheless our family pushed forward and figured even crushed food may taste good. Unfortunately we were wrong. Both the pizza and the knots were incredibly bland and greasy. So much so that my kids who will eat anything ate about half a slice and decided they'd be better off with a sandwich. I love finding hole in the wall local places too support, but I'm afraid we will have to leave Goodfellas alone. read more

The owner greats you when you come in, and remembers what you like. The pepperoni rolls are cheesy deliciousness. I ordered the lunch special $7.25 huge portion of lasagna, a salad, and fresh hot garlic bread rolls as well as a drink. You can get pizza even by the slice. Nothing fancy and the leather seats are cracked up bad, but the service (and food!) are great. Only complaint is more sauce on the pizza, but the pizza is still delicious. Expected delivery was 45-60 minutes per Yelp app. I waited 1 full hour after ordering JUST 1 PEPPERONI Pizza before I called to check on the status of the order. The girl that answered the phone said it'd be the next pizza "up". I asked what that meant and she quickly told me to speak to her manager. The manager (Craig or Chris) said they'd get it to me as soon as they can. I asked if he had a more accurate estimated time of delivery and he answered by telling me that if I wanted a more accurate delivery time from now on, that I shouldn't order online, but instead call "like everyone else". He said he could guarantee the pizza being delivered within the next 20minutes. It has now been been an hour and 50 minutes, no pizza, no call, no apology. I called back, spoke to the same manager, which told me the same thing; "next time don't order from internet, no good". Said we should be receiving shortly and said next time I call, I would get half off because of my wait. I told him not to worry about a next time. This business is literally 11 minutes from where they had to deliver the 1 pizza to. It took almost 2 hours for my family and I to receive 1 large, single topping pizza. Bad customer service, decent pizza. 1 star is for the pizza. read more

We have never had Stromboli's the way they prepare them. They weren't horrible, but there was A LOT of ricotta cheese in them-way too much. There was no sauce inside. It was basically cheese and bread. We've had many Strombolis and they always have sauce inside. Just looking at the amount of ricotta inside them ruined our appetite. The wings and pasta were great though. I love their pizza too. Just won't order Stromboli's again. read more

If you're looking for pizza in the Wylie area, then look no further. Goodfella's is one of the best hidden gems in Wylie. The staff is very friendly, and the pizza is great. The pizza's are huge, and the cheese is some of the best I have ever had on a pizza. It is hard to top Goodfella's when it comes to the pizza. If you are hungry for some other Italian dishes, they have a nice selection and most of them are around 5$. Most of these are pretty good especially when considering the price. I tried Goodfella's for the first time over the summer, and their pizzas are spectacular. The crust is crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside. A "small" is bigger than some chains' "large". Their toppings are fresh and delicious. The garlic knots are very garlicky and very buttery. The marinara sauce they give you to dip them in tastes very fresh and is highly satisfying. In addition, they have great Italian entrees. Their Eggplant Parmigiana is probably one of my favorites I've ever had. I sincerely think they have the best New York-style pizza in the metroplex, and I haven't had anything there that I have not liked. Giving them 5 stars is an easy choice. read more

Very friendly on the phone and you did not feel rushed to place your order. The crust was very tender and tasted like it was made that day. The sauce was nothing outstanding, but tasted O. K. Having lived in New York City most of my life, I'm a fairly good judge of NY style pizza and this ranks right up there. The crust is thin and the cheese topping is slightly oily. Haven't tried too many other dishes here except for the garlic knots which were yummy and the calzone which was authentic (ask my Italian husband). The atmosphere is a little stark but reminds me of the pizzerias in the East Village. All and all, the best pizza in Wylie. read more
