Ok, yes this place is very hard to deal with. The first time I went here I walked out and tried again another time, it was just too overwhelming. But once you have a open mind and look through some things you would be amazed what you find. I have found a cashmere christian dior sweater, ralph lauren baby bag, a new pottery barn kids baby bag and so many awsome winter clothes for my family. If you know good brands and take your time you can find some gems! It is partly because of shopping like this for my family I dont have to work and get to enjoy life a bit. It's incredibly cheap, which I love. But it's super chaotic and messy. No dressing rooms. I feel super dirty anytime I'm there. I would recommend wearing gloves when sifting through the bins. If you're a fan of shows like "American Pickers", "Toy Hunter", Storage Wars" or any of the other shows where people dig through mountains of hoarder garbage to find treasures, then this is going to be like a Chuck E. Cheese for you! This is our #1 GO-TO DESTINATION for whenever we have friends in town and we want to WOW them with a new experience! While fighting through the bins shoulder-to-shoulder with characters straight from a Steinbeck novel and dodging the dirty children weaving between your legs, you'll dig through piles of treasure that may include Broken Glass, Rusty Fish Hooks, Live Rodents and what one can only hope and assume is Human Urine (we have experienced all four hazards on different visits). HOWEVER! Under that pile of broken glass just might be a vintage Roy Rogers & Trigger Lucite Yo-Yo, a RAMBO Lunch Box, a fully working Apple IIe Personal Computer still in the box, a brand-new complete copy of Settlers Of Cattan, several dozen boxesa of Magic: The Gathering cards, vintage 1950's Elvis records (these are things I have personally found) or some OTHER incredible treasure that will only cost you a few pennies since they charge by the pound! As other reviews say, this place is not somewhere you go if you don't like germs and filth. With that being said, as long as you bring some hand sanatizer or gloves (some people even wear hospital masks), you will be fine. I found a beautiful gun cabinet here with glass etching. Didn't have a scratch on it and it only cost $40. They also have several furniture items for super cheap. I have seen sofas in there and entertainment stands under $10. I've been delving into the bins at this outlet store off and on for about one year now. The staff have always been kind and gracious to me. Big kudos to Kathy, Harjit, Abeer, Margie and Beverly. You always make me feel welcome. The facility is clean, with employees constantly going around and picking up merchandise off of the floor. I have been to Goodwill outlet centers throughout the United States, and this store, by FAR is the best organized and priced so we can afford to shop there. My own opinion...the retail Goodwill stores have increased their prices DRAMATICALLY and I see potential customers leaving empty handed, including me... Yes, there are some rude customers. Yes, there are some very nice customers. Yes, many shoppers bring their children there and allow them to run amok. Yes, many shoppers do not speak English and wreak havoc on the merchandise in the bins. Yes, you get all kinds of surprises in the bins, some are treasures, and some are a bit disgusting. Be sure to wear gloves because you never know when you will find broken glass or other less than sanitary items. I love to shop for Christmas decorations, silk flowers and office supplies and this is the best place to find them. Once I found a Waterford Clock, and another time I found a rather rare Isabel Bloom figurine. And once I even found a huge wall mount hobby horse! I found 3 wedding dresses here that I donated to Helping Hands, a non profit organization that has volunteer help who disassemble wedding gowns and make them into burial gowns for little babies. You really never know what the bins will hold next. The usual fare are: shoes, luggage and handbags, childrens' toys (usually a mess), books and lots of textiles...LOTS of textiles There is also an area that houses furniture, everything from sit down furniture to car ramps to office desks and lateral files. Anyway, I stay away from the book and shoe bins because there are many people who shove, push, and force their way through the merchandise. I hope that more control by management is set into place to stop these shoppers from ramrodding the other shoppers. The Grossest Goodwill outlet center is in Tucson, AZ. That place is a hole, and the customers are one level above animals. And... they are allowed to do as they please. No organization at all!! Don't go to Tucson! read more

This place is kind of scary, but if you take the time to really look into everything at this outlet, you will hopefully be pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind that everything here is unsorted and fairly dirty, and it's crazy here. Everything's in huge bins just piled on top of eachother. I do not like that. But after thrifting here I found a great REI collar shirt and purple dressy vest, both in mint condition, but funky smelling. But all thrifted clothing just needs a wash then it's all good. So if you're patient and aren't a clean freak, go ahead and take a shot at this place! read more

I've been shopping here since they opened. Many changes over time since then. Very crowded, competition between shoppers keen so be prepared to get your feelings hurt with pushing and grabbing. Staff tries to keep this to a minimum but there's only so much they can do. With so many people going there now, merchandise is pretty picked-over. The greater number of buyers who pile into the store, the less each one gets. Some professional buyers spend the whole day hanging around in the store, so the casual buyer's chances are greatly reduced by this. There are some pro, mass buyers from third world countries so beware of getting behind them in the check-out line because they create a long wait. They might have multiple hampers full of stuff, then they do a second exam of each item at the check stand. Having Debbie for my check-out clerk is always a pleasant experience. She is friendly and always acknowledges me as a repeat customer. Yet, she is able to handle problem customers in an efficient manner. read more

The first time I went I was kinda lost as I didn't know how it worked. Its really simple just be ready to rummage, pause for bin change. And expect nasty stuff from thoughtless donors who put their really dirty laundry (literally). You'll be surprised what you'll find, though, like brand names still w/ tags so it is worth your time and energy. As usual you'll see the mid class women that you see in discount shops or other thrift stores covering their identity in baseball caps and huge sun glasses but they're as vigorous as everyone in their treasure hunt. Be dressed for the event. Light workout clothes that goes straight in the wash afterwards. Shower immediately!! read more

This place is disgusting. Yep it's a 5 star review and I am saying right off the bat that it's disgusting. This is a place I go when I plan ahead - wear scroungy clothes, put your hair up, bring some gloves and dig in! The parking lot is always full so I try and get there close to opening. The first time I went I asked the person at the front door if there was anything I needed to know. His answer was no but that was totally wrong. When they move the giant bins in don't touch anything until the bin is parked and they tell you you can. I got big time yelled at for grabbing something out while they were wheeling it out. Basically everything is in giant bins. They give you a chance to wade through them and then wheel them out to replace them with new bins. There are a lot of pushy people there so just beware. OK so I gave you the caveats. What's to win here? I have gotten some sick bargains - designer clothes for pennies. I have also found a ton of weird vintage pieces and pieces I have been able to salvage for the fabric. I love going with a friend and just making a festive freakshow event out of it. I am in complete agreement with Jessica T. who wrote a review on here dated 11/1/2014. This place is dangerous and is NOT a safe place for women or children. A couple of days ago I was in there and member of a group of people who don't speak English physically attempted to over power me by grabbing a handbag from me. The fact that this store allows men to physically assault women over an item is beyond unlawful. After I complete this review, I will be filing a police report and a complaint with the BBB. I asked to speak with a supervisor when this man refused to let go of the bag I was holding and I had to walk through the store with this man physically attached to me via this handbag. Other customers who did speak English were attempting to defend me and get this man to let go of the bag, but he refused. The supervisor who came out, accused both of us of fighting over an item and threatened to throw both of us out of the store. He then took the item I was going to buy prior to this man attempting to steal it from me and punished me by not allowing me to purchase it. The assistant manager approached me and criticized my use of the word, "they" when referring to the group of non English speaking men whom many other customers have experienced this same aggression. I went to the store yesterday and this same man was screaming the word "bitch" in Spanish whenever I tried to shop in the area where he was. The supervisor was standing right by him and heard what he was yelling. She knew what the word meant and when I shared with her that he was trying to intimidate women trying to shop, she said, "oh he is just being obnoxious." Again, I spoke with the store manager because the customers were not being protected. He said he would speak with the man about his yelling, but said that he doesn't understand the Spanish word the man used. Even though his supervisor told him it meant, "dog" or "bitch" he said the supervisor was not a professional translator so in a court of law it wouldn't be relevant. He also asked me if I had been in New York riding in a taxi and the driver was using profanity would I be offended? I'm not sure why he was comparing riding in a cab with being verbally abused by one of his repeat offender customers whom he said he had personally kicked out of the store last year for causing fear in other customers. When I shared with the manager that many other customers were having the same experience, he said he gets lots of complaints but hasn't had one about this man for awhile since mine. He said that more customers would need to complain about this man for any further action to be taken. The fact that this man has been removed from the store several times and I have NEVER come even close to having these issues with anyone, wasn't relevant to the manager. I encourage all customers who have this issue to PLEASE write a review as Jessica T. did on here. So many people I have spoken with told me their complaints have fallen on deaf ears and they are blamed for their experience with this group of people or been accused of being racist by managers. The store manager, Alex, encouraged me to make a request of all customers to tell him when they or their children don't feel safe in his store. He has now promised to take these concerns seriously, so we need to take him at his word. Apparently, my good standing in the community and in that store, coupled with being a loyal donor of the Goodwill for many years does not provide me with enough credibility to hold a repeat offender accountable. If the conditions in this store don't change immediately, I will be posting a video on youtube, of the violence, reverse discrimination and abuse which is being allowed to continue in this store. This "group" of people is allowed to gain an advantage over new items which come on the floor as they refuse to stay behind the restricted lines which all other customers are required to follow. If you decide to shop here, bring self protection and leave your kids at home as it is currently an unsafe environment. read more

Recently, my wife passed away and a zipper pull she gave me was left on a coat donated to Goodwill. I went to the donation station on 1674th St in Lynnwood and they were very helpful in doing the paperwork needed to get it returned to me. I went to the warehouse where the items had been sent and John Greene said he would get right on it. Later the same day he called to let me know they had found the coat with the zipper pull. It was in one of 11 large boxes (4'x4'x4') and they had gone through three before finding it. I can't thank enough the compassion of the workers at Goodwill. Mike read more

I have been to both the Seattle Outlet and the Everett Outlet. There is a big difference between the two stores. This Outlet is much smaller and is always busy. Sometimes this place can get too packed to shop. I love this store! If you truly want to buy something at a discounted price this the place you want to be. There seems to be more action here than in Seattle, must be the amount of product that they continue to pour and roll out in big blue tables. Cause there is lots of it! Be prepared for competitive shopping because you are not the only one eyeing the prize. Suggestion if the parking lot is full and you have to park in the back of the building, don't go inside. If there are parking spaces in the front of the building, you are going to have a good day of shopping! read more

I happen to be a fan of thrift stores and this one is no exception. I love the fact that everything is so cheap, 75% less then a normal goodwill store. love to strike up convos with people that are searching around. This place is way cleaner then the sodo location by far. The bin changes happen bout every 2 hours. The shoes have been changed to being put out before noon since they don't want to many crowd hoarders to stick around. seems like the shoes are a hot item around this location. clothes and shoes are usually 99 cents a pound which is nice also they price stuff by the pound so if the item isn't even a pound your still ending up with a good deal. Also always check back every day or every couple of days since there are always new things everyday. when i have money i ride my bike up there and see what they have and usually get lucky when i come out. read more

This store has eliminated my need to go to any other thrift stores and fully satisfies my shopping addiction at a low, low price. The staff are really wonderful and the vast majority of the shoppers are really nice. There's a little community among the regulars. Yes, it can get crowded and there are some VERY dedicated shoppers, but if hunting for buried treasures is your thing then this place is nirvana and it's open seven days a week! read more

I usually love this place. And normally id give it a 5 star but my last two visits have been horrible and that alone has done it for me I will never be back. The last visit an employee was bringing out their bins and another employee comes over to MY cart and starts pushing it back with my 5 month old baby in it and says "move out of the way" while running over my foot! I was extremely mad, I said "please don't touch my cart ESPECIALLY with my child in it" she looked at me and said "I didn't" and WALKED away. My two five year olds that were with me even asked why the lady touched the cart. (They know better to touch it with my daughter in it, because they know carts can tip/baby's fall out, etc) I immediately left and didn't buy anything that right there did it for me. You shouldn't allow your employees to touch customers things especially with young children in it, if something had happened to my daughter or anyone's child, there'd be a hefty lawsuit on your hands. The lady didn't apologize or anything just walked away. I understand you are supposed to clear the ways so they can roll out the bins and we were trying but there was so many people blocking our way to turn around and go down an empty aisle, she could've been more patient or asked kindly instead of just backing up my cart and running my toes over. read more

The managers need to get a grip, the amount of re-sellers who shop here compared to just local folk is insane, they need to reign in on them. These people are there almost every single day, fill their multiple carts overflowing, some push, shove and it pisses off the average shoppers. A few have been banned they claim, but not enough. If you see the shoe,book, or hardware bins come out, watch out the re-sellers will do whatever they can to grab all the goods they can at your expense and safety. Also this is not a kid friendly place, leave your kids at home or make sure they at least stay in the cart. There is glass, sharp knifes etc in every bin even the toys, don't let your children under 10 play or grab stuff from the bins. So many of the moms let their kids run rampant in the tiny store and piss people off and end up hurting themselves. I go there a few times a month but not often as I end up too pissed off dealing with the re-sellers. I actually wear the shoes and clothes I purchase I'm not selling them on ebay, swap meets etc. They really need to open a second location in snohomish county. This location is way too tiny for the amount of people who go to it. and oh yah it has terrible parking since people spend hours there and don't leave. read more

I was looking for stuffed animals for Easter baskets for an egg hunt at our church. I heard about this Goodwill outlet and I imagined I would be pawing thru big, deep barrels of smelly stuff--ugh, I really didn't want to do that. But I was really surprised that the stuff is laid out by categories such as 'clothes', 'housewares', 'toys', etc. and instead of deep barrels there are more life troughs (about 2 feet deep and 8 feet long) to look thru. So it was easy to find stuffed animals (that appear to be new) very easily and without having to touch everything in the store. Within about 10 minutes I had easily collected a shopping cart full of stuffed animals. I paid $4.64 for the shopping cart full--about 40 items. I will definitely come here again. I was really surpised and pleased by the experience. By the way, I do shop for clothes at the regular Goodwill stores. PS The employees were very helpful and kind as I really had no idea what to do in this store. read more
