Stopped in and checked out this location while visiting Las Vegas. Not a big location and definitely not as organized and curated as our favorite locations in Arizona,, but definitely found a couple of nice ties and socks. The suits were hit and miss and the best rack in the store was the men's shirts. read more

Good Will Hunting. I love the fact that the employees are so nice, like Emelda. The staff are constantly stocking shelves and keeping things clean. I just enjoy going there to hunt for treasures. I always find something. Parking lot can get busy on the weekends , but there is constant movement and parking around back. I also like the name change of their program. This organization requires you to be a member. It doesn't cost anything and they can sign you up at the register as you're checking out. A little of everything for everyone. Initially, we stopped to donate clothing and some gently used toys the grandkids are no longer interested in. In walking around my first thought was prices are probably high. Like all those fundraisers at our kid's school. Donations for charities and such. I discovered some quality items at incredibly low prices. Since we are temporary in this location, we can buy some essentials, used, and donated them back when we're through. The ladies have been more than helpful and the building is much cleaner than I assumed it would be. I finally figured out why the CEO of Goodwill makes $500k a year. Went for the first time today and the prices are horrible! $50 for a used coat? I found new coats on Amazon for less. And many of the items are hung in the wrong size locations which forces you to have to go thru every single item. read more

The selection was fine but I witnessed a racially tinged classist pat down of an old man who was trying to buy a keyboard. After he was patted down by a middle aged blond woman who seemed to be in charge, he was left standing alone. "What's that? That's got to come out of your pocket." I admit that I'm not sure of their history... but the whole thing felt cringe. I saw a small table I wanted and bought a shirt and two towels for a great price. We came in for the table but decided not to try to jam it into the Prius. I had grabbed a red shirt for David but there was no tag. I have never seen this store in such a mess. The store has been a disaster these past few months. The ladies on the registers are painfully slow. Good luck finding something. You can't see anything because all the clothes are wedged in there. Or on the floor! If you do go, try to go at night. The store is a little cleaner. Bob is the only manager i ever see there He works hard to help you with anything you need. But still, it's not good enough to keep me coming back I recommend shopping in the evening or skipping this store altogether. Either way, you will be less aggravated. read more

I have been here three times, once to thrift and twice to drop off donations. Regarding the shopping experience.. This store is messy, disorganized and sizes are terribly mixed up. I dropped off donations (sometime before Christmas) and the lady just took my bag and said nothing. Not a "thank you" or anything. Today was my third time here, and I was going to drop off more donations. An older guy (idk his name) with short hair and light colored eyes was just plain rude! I smiled, handed over my bag and said "can I give you some donations?" He looked at me with such an annoyed expression and his response was, "are these really donations?" ??? As if I was handing him a bag of trash..... I was stunned. I said "yeah these are donations"..and he just walked away with the bag. Not a "thank you" from him either. That bag had a really nice pair of Madewell overalls and other cute clothes. The lack of visible gratitude alone makes me not want to come here ever again. For many years, I have contributed to various places in Southern Nevada by giving donations, cash and shopping in their stores. I did not feel valued at all and don't plan on coming back here. There's other places that value their donors and customers. Obviously this Goodwill store doesn't. read more

Located on the corner of Stephanie and American Pacific, this Goodwill seems to be really popular. I was looking for an affordable planter and maybe a bird bath and was able to find a basket plant hanger. It was affordable, but not a bargain. There are a lot of items which I think should be marked way more down considering it's all used and old. There were a lot of home ware items such as plate and cups in a set, so I guess it would be a good deal if you need to furnish for cheap and like the old school look. Otherwise, I think the big box places might be a better deal. Checkout was easy and the staff is nice. There is a small section of items that are brand new like comforters or blankets that would be helpful if you need to get a quick set up. Everything smells old and musty though so I just wanted to get out. Honestly, it's not that great of a deal and it would be better if people stop buying fast fashion that just gets donated here and is resold for prices that you would pay for if it was new. read more

Then the people in line asked how much something was and she went behind YELLING at them. Rudest employee I ever seen. If she's so bothered by everyone she shouldn't be working there. WAY OVERPRICED! Who do you think u r goodwill? Saks fifth ave? I was going to buy a white cotton button down shirt with STAINS ( I can get them out) by Lauren ( Ralph's cheapest label) until I saw a $25 price. Are you joking? It's only worth $5. We shop in used places because we can't afford new! I live in a senior building for low income seniors nearby and have no choice but to shop here. I needed that shirt for summer walking. It was not silk it was made in China and at Ross brand new it's listed at $16.99. Another coat no labels at all was $30. It was short cotton and again a bit dirty. I mean... u call yourselves a charity?!? Stop money grubbing. You get these things free and don't even clean them. They r sprayed with some awful disinfectant. Also I notice you guys love to put the price stickers PURPOSELY over any markings on breakables or housewares so we have to peel it off to read the info. Even on shoes you guys put it over the name of the maker. I think it's time someone called you out legally for taking advantage of people. A couple of the employees were nice. It's a very clean and organized store I do like that. Selection is terrible. Empty clothing areas. A used single small round Tupperware container was $10. Also dirty. read more

This Goodwill is always short of newspaper that they need to wrap the assorted glass, lamps, dishes, vases, fragile items that are sold. I collect newspaper from my friends, if they have any & all my papers & flyers from my mailbox & drop them off at the front desk. Sometimes the cashiers are so busy it takes awhile for them to notice me but the workers are always super grateful that I bring it in. I'm hoping that with this review, more people will bring newspaper in instead of throwing it out. One thing I notice is that there are long lines here & few cashiers. Also, you never know what you'll see here, but it's kind of a mess that's not hot. Except for when I see the interminable line, I usually bail & will peruse again when I return with more newspapers. read more

This has been my go to donation drop off location because of the convenient drive through. After my drop off last week I'm done coming here. When this location first opened they were friendly and gladly took my donations. I was handed a receipt and on my way. My last two drop offs I was "helped" by the crabbiest man. Keep in mind that when I pull up that I hop out, smile, say "hello", and start unloading my own truck. I'm not expecting anyone to unload my car for me. The man "helping" me just Grumpy Cat'd me in response to my smile and friendly greeting like he did last time I dropped off. I noticed that the bins are sorted by donation type. To assist I let him know what was in each bag as I unloaded, but his crabby disposition never changed. He looked so irritated to have to help me. One bag I noted had glass kitchenware and he still threw it hard into the large bin. I might as well have thrown it in the trash if that's what he was going to do with it. Lastly, they apparently don't want strollers. When I pulled the stroller out the guy scoffed and made some comment about them not taking strollers. He still tried to throw it in the bin. I stopped him and ending up taking it to my nail lady since she knew of an organization that would want it. I bring things here so they may be useful to someone else. I can throw things in the trash at home without the hassle of loading them into my car and driving them somewhere. In summary, I'll "inconvenience" another organization with my donations in the future. Someone told me that the charity down the street is friendlier and a better organization altogether so I'll check that out. read more

Goodwill has done lost their minds! I mean they really have lost their minds I'm a Thrifter I have been the last three years I'm retired so I had about eight thrift stores a day five days a week. And I can tell you for a fact that Goodwill has jumped the shark! They have overprice so much of their stuff and they don't even care! So please if you want to check out a great place to shop go to Savers everything is donated to Savers gets placed on their floor. Everything goodwill gets donated to Goodwill goes on their website so that they can make even more money off of poor people! I guess they forgot that they were in the business of good will??? I hope all the top-heavy corporate offices are enjoying their hundreds and thousands of dollars in salary a year while everybody else just craves by. I will never donate here again. My first experience at this Goodwill was dropping off kitchen and dish ware. The rudest men grabbed the bins and threw them into their "sorting" bins and we heard everything shatter. I could just as easily done that at home and not waste my time. The exact same thing happened again this weekend. My husband went to donate some glassware and told the man there were breakables in the box and the man replied he didn't care and dumped the box, breaking everything in it. Truly disgusting behavior. Manager says they cannot sell untagged unpicked items without contacting the costumer. Manager also says the customers have 24 hours to pick up items put in book. But then contradicts this when says oh, but from us calling them. You telling me they keep unpicked items forever if no one asks to buy and it's unnoticed they haven't been picked up? It makes no sense. The item has been in the book for three whole days now. Its a freaking $9 item! By the way, treat your employees with respect. They may not be as up to speed as you are, but you don't need to berate them in front of customers. Badly done. read more

There's really no words that would adequately explain the kindness displayed at this store. My Father passed away and as we we packed many of his belongings to donate, my entire leather work portfolio (which contained a year's worth of customer's info), my personal birth certificate social security card, all of my Father's personal info including his birth certificate, soc life insurance and work information were ALL discarded in error. Needless to say I was grieving AND in tears due to the leg work I thought I was in for after losing such important documents. I went back to the location on the very next day after donating, spoke with Brenda and she assured me they'd look. It may take some time but they would look. I've got to be honest, many times when a loss or concern doesn't "directly effect" the individual you're speaking with they don't always do a thorough job. There's no value to them but, My God! After a few short hours Brenda called and said that they FOUND my folder. EVERYTHING was in the exact same order in which it was lost. Every stitch of paper, all of our personal info and my work! I wept on the phone with her AND once I arrived to pick it up. She hugged me, offered her condolences and reassured me that THEY were going to do everything they could to locate what was lost. I go to goodwill a lot but in the last couple of years I've seen the prices increase, I don't understand why you guys want to make so much money , specially in baby clothes and shoes and mugs things that people actually need for their home , the shoes I've seen them for up to 25$ please they have been worn !!! The prime lot on the corner of Stephanie and American Pacific was graded and a new Goodwill store was built from the ground up. The place is much nicer than their original location for sure. Much more convenient to drop off your donations too! THE GOOD --Drive Thru Donation Drop Off-- Drive up to doors on the far left side of building, pop open your trunk and the employees will take your donations and give you receipt. Easier access from the entrance off American Pacific and drive around backside of store. They'll also ask if you want a voucher for tax purposes. --In the area where they sell electronics, there are outlets so you can test out the product before you purchase. --retail hours, open til 9pm is good in my book. --7 day return policy on electronics with receipt WHAT'S IFFY --Pricing inconsistent-- I don't know how they determine prices on merchandise, but $12 for a Target brand candle set is overpriced even if the packaging was brand new with price tags! --inside of store though reeks of old musty shoes already! It's somewhat organized, but I wasn't going to waste my time figuring out where size 5 shoes are. --they don't take time to clean up the merchandise, well at least not the housewares and electronics.. alot of stuff had dust, dirt and who knows what on them. No complaints on the help here. The guys are always quick unload my donations and offer to carry out bulky items to my car. Cashiers are cool. It's super busy but the lines move pretty quickly. --Latest Score-- Kate Spade handbag $5 30 inch desktop monitor with adapter $20 You know how idiom quote goes "One Man's Junk, Another Man's Treasure." I love all Goodwills. What is greater than finding a great item at a great price. You have to hunt and find but it can be worth it. I don't always walk out with a great buy but when I do, I am always so happy. This goodwill is not their best store nor their biggest but after their remodel it has definitely improved. My only pet peeve about any Goodwill is that whatever sticker has the additional markdown are always so hard to find. *grrr* But on Sundays, they always have a color sticker at 75% off. And different days of the week offer additional discounts as well. military id, casino employee/player, Albertson's receipt etc, previous goodwill receipt. So get to know the days and you can save even more money. Also know that they do not run any purchase as debit, all card transactions are ran as credit card. read more

Well, I'm extremely upset. I'm going to a funeral in California in two days came here to get a few things and I found the tigers eye necklace something my father really would've liked. I was so happy to find it and when I came home, realized it wasn't in the bag, so I called the store unfortunately he said they were closed, but I was able to talk to the cashier that rang. My mother and I up remembered us. I told him I saw him pick up the two items of jewelry that he had in a basket he said he put them in a bag, tied it in a knot, and put them in with the rest of my clothes, but there was no and not he told me to look in the car and since my mom is a neat freak, I knew there was no need to look in the car. He actually told me that since he tied it a knot and put it in a little bag, it could've easily been mistaken for trash yes he actually said that he insisted he put them in the bag. I'm really upset. It wasn't the price of the two items. It's the fact that I believe that he stole them but charged me for them because the items are on my sheet. I hope I'm wrong. I really do and I apologize if I am, but he mentioned looking at the security camera, if you couldn't find them so I have to go around tomorrow after one. This is really inconvenience for me because I'm gonna have to take a transportation. I just had surgery on my ankle so I can't drive. I really really hope somebody has a change of heart and the two jewelry items are there when I go in, and insist to look at the security camera this is just awful. I was so excited that I actually found a beautiful necklace that just disappeared. I'm actually I'm pissed. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it the ring in the necklace really better. Be there tomorrow when I go in. I will post another review about this unfortunate situation like I said, I hope I wrong because this is going nowhere. Good if my items are not waiting for me in the store tomorrow. OK today's the 20th. I just wanted to add that was mistake on my mother's part. She put it in her purse and thank God the people of the Goodwill are so nice especially Bob and the manager today they actually looked at the security camera footage to find out what happened to the two items and was able to call me back and tell me my 85 year old mother forgot she put it in her purse. My vacuum cleaner went out, so while I was across the street at the DMV, I noticed a Goodwill. I must say, I've never been inside one of these places, only donated at their donation centers across town.(I'm a leave stuff at the bin type guy) LoL. The store itself was pretty clean. I have no other location to compare to so I'll just assume they are all like this. The people who worked there were nice and helpful. One of the guys actually threw dirt on the ground so I could make sure the vacuum cleaner worked before I bought it. I got a "dirt devil" brand for ONLY $20. It was still in excellent condition. 8/10. It was red and had a bunch of accessories included. They have different deals every day of the week. Certain items are tagged differently on certain days. You can also sign up to become a member and save even more. Good to know if I ever come back. However, giving 3 stars because of the line. It was horrible. Even with 3 registers open I waited 20 minutes in line with only around 6 people ahead of me. That is unacceptable! Get it together Goodwill. Fix your registers or hire more people. read more

Very good Goodwill location. Highly impressed by the amount of inventory they have here. I like how they've utilized all the space by putting shoes eye level throughout the store. This allows for more space and longer aisles of clothes. Clothing is very well organized. I don't usually see too many goodwill locations that have clothing organized by size. Pricing is great as always. VIP customer get 50% off whatever color is on sale that day. (VIP is free to sign up).. There's also discounts for first responders and senior citizens. This store has a monthly 50% off sale, where everything that isn't red tagged, is marked down. Adequate staffing. Dressing rooms are clean and you can take 6 items at a time. Restrooms are also available. These are also well kept. Speed moving through the checkout line is average. Could be a little bit faster but not slow enough to complain about. read more

I went to this Goodwill to donate two grocery bags of clothes. The donation port is a one way in and out driveway. If you get someone behind you, you're stuck! So I decided to walk up with my two bags. The gentleman who saw me walking up was rude and told me I needed to drive up or they wouldn't accept my donation. Um, what? Anyway he was not very friendly ( and had an eye patch if I saw that right). What a joke, driving up just to donate, doesn't make sense. read more

Talk about an overpriced thrift store. A lot of the clothing for sale is missing buttons, has tears or rips. Finally found one decent short sleeved shirt and it had no tag. They tried to charge me $15 for a used shirt! I laughed and left. Rip off of a "goodwill" store. read more

We stopped at this Goodwill while visiting family in Henderson. Never have I been in a Goodwill that sorted their clothing by size! That saves so much time. The store is nice and spacious which I appreciate. Senior discount was 20% whereas at home it is only 10%. Other discounts were applied and we ended up paying less than half of our total bill it doesn't get much better than that. read more

Today's color was purple. All purple tags is $1. While I was there, employees were taking racks of purple tag items to the back room. I complained about this once before about 6 months ago. That's bull crap. Why have a sale and take all sale price items to the back room. read more

There's some healthy competition going on between several Thrift Shops along Stephanie in Henderson! This was our 3rd stop of three on a recent hunt for treasures, and this was by far the busiest location of the three. The line to pay was VERY long and quite frankly this dissuaded us from deciding to buy something that day. But aside from that, this shop was clean and and organized and it was clear that someone took the time to make things visually appealing for their guests. read more

4 stars only because one of the cashiers I believe her name was Angela (older women with a bandana on her head) was very rude towards the other cashier and didn't seem to enjoy her job one bit. I hope she learns to respect her coworkers, and talk to them respectfully instead of yelling at them. Other than that love this store. read more
