I have been taking my car to Goodyear for a year now for oil changes. They had also made some service recommendations that I had done. I recently took my car there for an oil change and was informed that I needed new brakes ($800); a new serpentine belt and coolant flush. I know I can get the brakes done cheaper elsewhere so that aint going to happen with them. I researched the serpentine belt issue and was planning a road trip so decided to have them do it, mainly for convenience. Their price was comparable to what I found elsewhere so I made a appointment. When I arrived, I requested that they return the belt they removed to me. About 20 minutes later, the mechanic came out and told me the belt was fine. I wonder if they had gone ahead and replaced it if I had not requested the used belt be returned to me. I do not trust them any more and I will not be back read more

It was the end of the day on a Wednesday and I had just run over a screw with my Chevy 2500. I had to take my wife to the airport the next morning for a 6am flight. I called this Goodyear for help, and after getting there less than an hour before closing, they got me in and patched up. The manager personally got the job started until someone else could take over. Excellent, excellent customer service. Thanks guys!!!! read more

I got an oil change and quoted some tires from these guys. They were nice and prompt, I like that they do more than JUST tires like so many of their competitors. Although I was able to find a little better deal on the tires, but it was because my wife has a cousin who manages at a competitors store. These guys prices were comparable to others in the area. read more

Had an appointment and accidentally forgot about it, called a about 10 mins after scheduled appointment and said I would be there in about 10 minutes. The guy that answered the phone said no matter what time I bring it they were still working on yesterday's work. Very rude, I understand an appointment but regardless this was to be my first visit, glad I was late! read more

This place is a total rip off. Went in on a Sunday to get a flat repaired; after removing the tire they told me that I needed a new tire and that they won't put the one they removed back on due to legal issues - seriously! being out of options I bought a new tire from them. Next, they started finding faults with the other tires and told me that those needed to be replaced as well since threads were coming off. I politely refused, got that one tire and left. On my next scheduled service after about a month narrated the ordeal to Kirkland Toyota dealer rep who inspected the tires, confirmed that they were in good condition and suggested I never go back to this sham of a place on Bothell Everett highway. read more

Go anywhere other than here. They charged $70 for flipping switches on the dashboard for under 5 minutes- pointing out an electrical problem (which they did not fix). I also have reason to believe they are wrong about the problem source. I will never visit another Goodyear ever again. read more

Horrible customer service based upon my experience.The guys really do not know how to be polite and welcoming. I also had problem with my last oil change which I noticed only during the next oil change. They over-tightened the oil filter and did not lubricate it in my opinion resulting in part of the o ring left around the pan. My fault they told me:-). read more

Horrible and incompetent! I have been getting my vehicles serviced at Goodyear for well over 5 years now. I had my oil changed and was told I needed my throttle body cleaned on my 2 year old F150. They charged me $125 to clean the throttle body. When I got into my truck I found a quart of fuel cleaner sitting inside my door. I went back in to find out why. I was told that it goes into the fuel tank but they didn't know how to do it and that I should do it when I get home. That was when I decided to we wouldn't be taking our vehicles into them anymore. Then I started noticing oil drips on my driveway. Could not find the source. I took it into a different service place since Good Year obviously wasn't interested in actually doing a complete job. Turns out that they didn't even have the oil filter all the way on. 1 1/2 turns by hand! Then they check the air in my tires. All 4 were different. 30lbs, 38lbs, 42lbs, & 34lbs??? Air filter was bad and some of my lug nuts were loose from when they did the tire rotation. This is not a safe place to bring your cars. read more

I was very satisfied with my service today! Walking in as a man with high heels and a purse, I suppose it's obvious that I know absolutely nothing about cars, and I feel nervous about being so ignorant about how to service my vehicle. But Scott at this location was really good to me! I came in with a flat tire, and he patched it and had me on my way within minutes! (He also explained to me what "patching" meant in this case!) Scott and the rest of the team were professional, quick, educational, and kind, and I will definitely come back to this location when my car needs any kind of service in the future! read more

Was happy with their efficient, systematic operation, friendliness, etc. Make an apt and drop it off. So far so good. They charged me about $75 to look at my power steering leak. Still great. Told me I had a leak in my pump and steering gear, $2200 or so. Still OK. Decided to have the dealer where we bought the car to fix it. They told me there were slight leaks at those locations, but the real/main leak was at the coolant tank which is what was causing the puddle under the car. So for $400 all better. So got lucky in that I would have spent over $2000 and still had the problem. read more

Three years ago I got a punctured tire and rolled in 15 minutes before they closed, with a toddler and two dogs in tow. Three employees were standing there talking. They said they were closing in 15 minutes, and patching a tire would take longer than that, so they wouldn't help. I begged. They told me to go down the street a mile and have Discount Tire help me. It took 30 minutes in traffic to get there. They were closed, but Discount tire stayed late and fixed it for free. Decided to give them another chance today. My window is stuck in the open position. For $54, they checked it out. Then three of them talked amongst themselves, looked on the computer and wandered around. I had to keep asking to find out what was the problem was. After about 15 minutes, the front desk person finally told me my window regulator was broken and needed to be replaced. He said it would be $600 to replace the bad one, and half a day. I asked more questions -- so he got the person who actually looked at the car in to answer them. I looked through the estimate and noticed they were charging me separately for a regulator and a motor. The first guy had already told me the motor and regulator come together as one unit. I said, if the regulator comes with a motor, why are you charging me for a separate motor and separate regulator? One guy asked the other, "Doesn't this come as assembly?" The one who had searched for the parts online said, "Nope!" and turned and walked away. The first one hemmed and hawed and gave some strange explanation about why they would be charging me twice. Bottom line. I don't want to have to spend my time trying to figure out if a service shop is lying to me. I don't trust them anymore. John K is right. They used to be trustworthy. Now it feels like they are padding their estimates. Update - It's 3 days later. I ordered the part online myself for $55 (guess what -- it only comes as an assembly) -- they were charging $250 for the parts alone. I replaced the part myself in 1 1/2 hours (without having any mechanical experience at all) by following a video from http://www.1aauto.com. Goodyear was going to charge me for 5 hours of labor. They had said, "it's a big job." I'm not saying they are dishonest, or attempted to take advantage of me because I am a woman or because I have no experience with mechanics, but if I can do in 1 1/2 hours what they say it will take them half a day to do, a responsible person COULD conclude (among the many other conclusions one could make) that they are either a) less qualified to work on cars than a person (woman or man) with no experience at all in auto repair, or b) they are deceptive, misleading and padding their estimates. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY! Do your research and ask around.... I went in on 1/27/17 to get my FRONT brakes fixed (since they were squeaking and starting to make more noise) so I dropped my car off in the afternoon they called me not too long after the "courtesy" inspection and like another review on here stated they are "grouchy" well at least the older guy is. He called and said both front and rear brakes needed to be replaced with a flush which I couldn't afford so I told him fix the one that he thought needed to be fixed first and I'll bring the car back in sooner than later to get the other half fixed. He said the REAR brakes were the ones that needed to be fixed first and were making noise which didn't make sense because noise was coming from the front. Anyways, I TRUSTED their inspection and gave the okay to do the rear. He said the front brakes would be good for another 3,000 miles just to bring it back before then. Not even a couple hundred miles later my brakes are really grinding at this time I had to take it to another shop someone recommended and the brakes were so bad they said I could have died. I'm wondering what Goodyear inspected when recommending the rear brakes when the fronts were the ones that needed replacement first. Never going to do business with them ever. read more

We took our car here for an oil change and a free maintenance check (was told there were no issues from the 39 point general maintenance check). A month later, we noticed our brakes were grinding...When I told that Goodyear associate that no one mentioned our brakes were needing to be repaired after the oil change the associate said "Well, they should have." It's hard for me to believe they even performed the maintenance check...Will not be returning. read more

This location is incredibly lucky to have an employee named Scott!!! Both of my wife's headlights went out and I went to auto parts store to buy new ones. Pretty handy at doing minor automotive tasks, but when I attempted to change these, I couldn't get my hands in the confined space to remove the bad bulbs. On 7/26 I pulled in unaware it was 15 minutes before closing and chatted with Scott in the lobby. I explained that my wife had to drive to Bellingham that evening with the car and I would pay to have the bulbs installed that I purchased earlier. He said "Let's go have a look" and began changing them. Not only did he successfully change them, he wouldn't take a dime!!!! Most people get an attitude when you come in right before closing, not him. He was super friendly and just kept smiling. BLOWN AWAY by his professionalism and kindness. I went in for routine service on my Honda CRV. Service was fine and reasonable, but they said I needed brake work done as I was down to 2% front and back. They gave me a written estimate showing replacing pads and rotors, front and back. I thought the estimate was a bit high, so I took the car to Woodinville Import Auto. They looked at the car and said I had 55% left on the front, and 65% left on the back, and I needed no brake work at this time. The Goodyear Service Center was trying to rip me off. read more
