Bought 4 new trailer tires ($1000) 10 months ago. Ran over a screw and called about a repair. I asked if I should make an appointment-- told no, just drop by. Not informed of pricing, and I thought it would be covered by road hazard warranty. Showed up 45 minutes later at 4pm and told "no guarantee to get it done today, and if so, it would be close to 6pm". Also, repair is $25. That is the regular cost and I misunderstood the warranty does not apply to trailer tires. I explained that I was advised not to make an appointment and that coming back another day is an additional one hour trip. I opted to take my unrepaired tire elsewhere. They leaned it against my truck hitch without saying a word. Very unfriendly team and a total waste of my time driving an hour out of my way for nothing. Won't be back. Goodyear may need to work on this crew. read more

I do not recommend this service at all. The employees are completely incompetent and extremely unprofessional. Yesterday, I came for a vehicle inspection, which normally takes very little time. I was refused and told to come back the next day. I wasted my time waiting, only to come back today and be treated in a very rude manner. I was told, "I don't know who told you that, but we won't accept you," with no explanation and no respect. Because of their lack of organization and their disgusting attitude, I lost two full days for something that should have taken only a few minutes. This behavior is unacceptable. I've been going here for about two years for my oil changes. Super happy with the service and staff are wonderful. Recently I got a flat tire and felt comfortable visiting Goodyear to see about a repair. Unfortunately it was not repairable and I had to bite the bullet and buy a $400 tire. It had to be special ordered as it was a Saturday and they didn't have it in stock. Monday morning as promised, the tire arrived and they called me to come down for the replacement. I was able to use their counter with outlets for my laptop and work while I waited. It was actually very quick and I was back home less than an hour after I left! read more

I took my wife's Lexus 2014 F sport for an oil change. I have a 10 o'clock appointment but I took it in at about 8am it took forever to get an oil change and then they tell me I need the filter and they didn't have one in stock so I waited another 30 mints I don't think I'll ever come back and atmosphere was not there. The guy that helped me out was very moody. I think display should hire people that smile more often and one lady was mopping the floor with a dirty ass mop and people are coming in and they had to walk around where she was mopping was very unprofessional and very inconvenient read more

We have taken both our household cars into this location. My wife's Honda was told it would need brakes soon (no recommendations for resurfacing them or anything else) then on our next trip we're told her brakes had dirt/ build up and need to be cleaned but no recommendations for repair or replacement the second time. This was little off putting as same location said 2 different things 6 months apart. Jan 2026 take her car in for oil change, fluid flushes, and tire rotation. The guy helping us (assuming Assistant manager or higher) apologies for our bad information in previous visits and brakes need to placed on the front. He does provide a $100 discount on brakes for this. So we sign for the work on the screen. They didn't print the work order to review (that's a first, didn't thing much of it at the time). They never call to check in , just called to say work was done. Show up to pick up and a different person helps us but was at counter when we dropped off. He goes over the work performed. Doesn't mention oil change or tires. We stated that was our main reason for the visit and the other guy comes back in from his break. The lack of information on previous trips made our cost on the brakes more this trip and then to not have oil change and tires rotation not part of our quoted price made me furious. I stated to them that they have lost my business from this mishap, but no effort to apologize from the manager or anything to make correct. So when you start our car the oil light comes up at start, so he ignored that when checking milage and then the technician who did the work again had to Ignore it and he reset it without performing the work. I get mistakes occur but two people over looking the same thing and someone could have called me to authorize the additional cost, but didn't. Now I have to go else where for oil change as I can't give them anymore of our money. My own car needs new tires and brakes soon, and that business was theirs until this occured. read more

Honest, reliable service that has kept me going back for years, through two hard-ridden Toyota pickup trucks, my grown-up SUV, and two locations. When the downtown location closed, I followed the team to Carmichael, even though it's a journey. I might have been one of the only females (and certainly the only cheerleader) who took auto shop in high school. But the reality is that few of us know enough anymore about the bells and whistles of modern vehicles to be able to determine whether a mechanic's recommendation is a dire situation that must be dealt with on the spot or, sadly, even true. And that we have to -- post Jiffy Lube/Sears consumer scandals -- be hyper aware of being manipulated is a sad state of affairs in and of itself. The trusty guys (and gals - Go Leda!) at Goodyear have given me excellent service for many years, helping me prioritize when there are multiple things and - gasp! - even telling me when I can postpone a service. They seem to get the concept that this kind of service is better for the bottom line than aggressive corporate marketing campaigns for fixes du jour. read more

THE MANAGER IS A RACIST. FALSELY ACCUSED US OF NOT PAYING AND CALLED THE POLICE ON US. On 1/11/, my husband and I made a 1pm appointment to get our tires replaced and alignment fixed. We for 3 HOURS and I asked the manager, Sophia Contratto, when my car will be fully ready. "I don't know. Saturdays are busy." The store was mostly empty and it was only us and two other customers (Hispanic) that waited just as long as us! Her team still helped multiple people walking in and they walked out while we waited for 3 HOURS. One mechanic brought in a bag with our key inside and she ignored that- while we were waiting for 3 HOURS for an appointment WE MADE! Sophia came to us asking if we still wanted the alignment fixed. She didn't even apologize for the 3 HOUR WAIT. That meant it took them 3 HOURS to replace the tires. I felt infuriated. I said "Are you joking? yes I do want the alignment fixed." I told her that's why we made the appointment! Instead of listening to me, she proceeded to tell us the total amount of the appointment which confused us why she was telling us this when our car wasn't even done. She kept asking repeatedly if we wanted the alignment or not, as if she didn't listen to me at all or even know our appointment. I told her AGAIN that we want the alignment and I expect her to finish the whole job since I will not be paying for the whole service when they're not FINISHED with my car overall! She was offended by that and refused to fix the alignment. She wanted to charge us for the tires only. I told her that it's unacceptable to refuse service halfway- we waited for OVER 3 HOURS. Seems she didn't like that I called her out and she told her mechanics to put the old tires back. I told her that we waited for OVER 3 HOURS and it's wrong that she refused service altogether just like that. But she decided to refuse our payment for the tires because she didn't want "our money and our business." We just wanted her to HONOR OUR APPOINTMENT since we waited for 3 HOURS. But she CALLED THE POLICE ON US by FALSELY ACCUSING US of not paying and calling us CRIMINALS to the 911 dispatcher. We NEVER said that. Sophia Contratto lied as we only told her that she should honor our original appointment and that we will not be paying for the whole service until it's done- because we WAITED FOR OVER 3 HOURS. She described our behavior and clothing suspiciously which made us feel racially discriminated- We had NO INTENTION of leaving the store since we originally wanted our car finished and at that point, we wanted to pay for the tires to leave. While I called the police I told them they should review the cameras as proof that we were not threatening or doing anything illegal. She laughed, saying there's NO CAMERAS inside the store. I'm certain that's why she was acting discriminatory. We kept telling her we wanted to pay for the tires so we could just leave but she REFUSED OUR PAYMENT. Okay, Sophia Contratto- YOU CALL THE POLICE ON US BASED ON US "NOT PAYING" SERVICE WHILE YOU'RE REFUSING OUR PAYMENT? When the police arrived she magically acted polite and FINALLY let us pay for the tires. Oh, and the police officers wanted us to pay for the tires as well- Just like what WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO. My husband never once saw Sophia Contratto at this location as he's been coming here for 3 years and one of the officers mentioned he knew her. Wow, no wonder she was so quick to call the police on us. What was the point of Sophia Contratto calling the police by FALSELY ACCUSING us for "refusing to pay" for their service while she refused our multiple attempts to pay for the tires to resolve her issue against us. She had the audacity to tell us we're banned from her store and I told her we will NEVER COME BACK as long as she's employed there. This is what happens under Sophia Contratto's supervision? She's an absolute joke of a store manager and has the communication and problem-solving skills of a troglodyte. She completely wasted her time. I will consider seeking a lawyer because this experience was HORRIBLE AND UNACCEPTABLE. read more

I went today for an oil change to this location, well, I will start saying, that a few years ago, I took my Toyota Matrix to the Firestone cross the street of this place the one closed down a few years ago for lying to the customers, in that place I took my car for oil change and the Manager the name Nick who lied and ripped many customers off, that day he printed a list with all the issues that he said my car had, and I believed in him, and I left that store paying $1300.00, then my coworkers when there and Nick did the same with them, the cars were fine. Well today I suffered the same situation but in this place Goodyear the one next to Sunrise mall, I went for an oil change with my new car a Nissan Rogue sport 2017 with 65000 miles, and I drive my car 30 miles a week to go work and back, so at first the guy told me would be $107.00, the oil change, so I said yes, and he told me it will take like an hour to be ready, so I left to walk around, and when I came back to pick up my car, this guy showed me an estimate, which I did not ask for, and I attached in this review, where he said that my car has many problems that you can see in the estimate, and if I said yes to him, I would end up paying more than $1,600.00, and I went there just for an oil change. I wonder who owns this place, I don't know why they want to rip people off, if you want to be a successful Auto Service, DON'T LIE to your customers, I know the sells have been bad for everyone, but its really sad that you trust in a place, and unfortunately the cars don't talk and we don't know if what they said is true, I did accept to do one think in my car beside the oil change, and he said that it will take an hour and a half to be ready, so I left again, and he called me before that to pick up my car, so how can I be sure if they did the job that they charged me another $472.00, finally I left the place paying more than $600.00, and that is more than my paycheck, I will never come back to this place again, and you think twice before to go to this location. **LOCATION HOURS** ARE 8AM-5PM Mon-Sat- I recommend making an appointment. I was able to get an appointment the following day the first time around, but I forgot to bring my key for my tire lock. Same the second time around when I made my appointment, super easy. As noted, this Goodyear location next to Sunrise Mall hours are Monday- Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm, even though the Goodyear corporate website lets you add an appointment for later, like I did. I promptly received a call to let me know and reschedule which was nice. The location was super clean, nice and cool on a relatively warm May day. They have a fridge with cold water and hot Kerrigan coffee maker. I was greeted and checked in by Lidia (sp?) She was professional, efficient and nice both times. I went in for a tire repair to have a nail removed and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. They do get booked which is why you should call or make an appointment on line. Overall a great experience with great staff at the counter and the gentleman who repaired my tire. He even took the time to let me know that my fancy cap on my tire air nozzle was missing, which I was aware of prior to going there. I recommend this location if you need a tire repair. read more

My car tire blew up and luckily I was right in front of Goodyear. They were very accommodating as I was headed out of town for the weekend. I came back on Monday and was pleasantly surprised my tire just needed a patch which was very inexpensive. They topped all my tires back up including my spare. They also payed special attention to put my spare back as well as the Jack stand and tools I had to use to limp my car over to them. The lady behind the counter is also really nice! Very upset over the way my car was returned. I've always experienced good services and friendly staff and never had a reason to complain. Came in with my spare tire on and needed a patch on my main wheel. They patched it and basically threw the spare and components back into the truck where its stowed. None of the pieces were inserted correctly and the foam spacer that goes between my spare and the trunk floor board was completely destroyed so now my truck floor sags into the tire space. I didn't realize until 2 weeks later when I placed items in my trunk, tried to repair but without that foam spacer, there's no point. This may have been the only straw needed to never again give them my business. Someone knowingly caused damage and purposely and incorrectly put the spare and releated items away. read more

In a less than 5 minute interaction, Goodyear has gained a new customer. After stopping by another establishment at 4:54 pm and being told they could not look at my tire because they were closed (closing time was 5 pm), I walked into Goodyear and was helped right away even though they also close at 5pm and it was now 4:57 pm. They checked my tire pressure, added air to the 1 tire in question and checked my TPMS without any complaints. Told me to come back if it happened again and they would look at it closer. Got my oil change done here and drove my car to work. I kept hearing a scraping sound so when I pulled over and looked underneath the splash shield underneath was loose, it was barely couple inches off the ground. I call good year immediately and the guy without even explaining he knew exactly what I talking about. It seems they had put the shield on backwards when doing the oil change. He didn't even apologize or anything and even had the audacity saying "didn't you ever make a mistake". And he also stated it wasn't a safety hazard. Umm yeah it is if it would've came off while I was driving and caused and accident. However, they did fix it as they should but, I will never go back there due to they're negligence and lack of customer service. Save yourself your money and your safety. So my wife and I ordered tires for her truck, instead of confirming the tire size I went with the make and model search engine, my mistake. The lady from Goodyear called us right away to let us know that the tires we ordered did not fit our truck because we had the sport package. They didn't charge us any type of restocking fee, even though the tires had already been delivered...they were super friendly and accommodating, I finally ordered the right tires and they even took us in a day early from our original appointment. I had my vehicle in for a free Fall Car Care check on Sunday, October 8. When I picked it up, I noticed oily/greasy fingerprints in several different spots on the outside and inside of the vehicle. I take great pride in and exceptional care of my vehicle and am incredibly disappointed that the technicians are not more careful. We used to bring our vehicles in to this Sunrise Mall location for years and years but stopped in part because the vehicles were often returned dirty like this. Despite my being nervous about dropping off my vehicle, I thought I'd give the shop another try due to how close and convenient the location is, and how nice it has been to work with Pam in the past. I told the technician that the vehicle was my baby when I dropped it off and kept my fingers crossed. I should have known better. Given the typical 20 minute wait to drop the vehicle off and the usual unwillingness to commit to when it would be ready (despite my not really caring), I really don't think we'll be back. We currently take another vehicle we have 30 miles away from our home for service, because we found they treat the vehicle like it was their own. Kind of sucks, because I was preparing to drop around $1,500 on tires for my vehicle at this location and now I have to figure out another option. I don't normally leave feedback like this. I've always been super accommodating in an effort to do business with this shop. So frustrated. read more

I had a great experience here. I had four new tires hat I needed installed on my vehicle, and they got the job done quickly with a short notice. I made my appointment Saturday night for a Sunday morning drop off. What I needed done wasn't listed as an option on their website so I typed in it the notes. The lady working the front desk was very friendly and accommodating, she knew what I needed from my notes and was able to quickly get me a quote on the work. Their prices were comparable to what I've paid at other shops, if not on the lower end. I dropped my car off and about two hours later I got the call it was ready. Came in, paid real quick, and I was on my way. Glad to have found a tire shop close to my new living situation that I can come back to. read more

I bought new tires from this branch last year(Oct 2017) and the tires are great. they offered me to get a credit card to get 125$(visa) rebate. Until now, its been a year, and NO rebate yet. If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would. I used to come here all the time for oil changes, alignments and repair work. I would always have to wait a little bit of time but I would just walk over to the mall and waste some of that time. I had repair work done here in October 2017 and it took over 4 hours (don't ever tell them you're dropping your car off and not waiting) to have a 12 minute repair-this time is noted on the invoice for labor costs. So, I came back on Saturday and made and appointment because I was having the same issue as back in October. I wanted to make sure the work was done correctly last time and I wasn't going to be charged $115+ for a diagnostic for something I already knew was the problem. I was told the car would be taken in within the hour to pull codes and I would be called. I left with my ride to run a few errands. I called an hour and a half later and was told "it was next in line". Irritated, my ride took me back and what do you know? My car was still sitting where I parked it. I walked inside and asked why it was still there when I made an appointment for 2 hours prior. I was told "well it's an online appointment" as if that has anything to do with it. My ride had to leave and thus Goodyear had wasted 2 hours of my time. I demanded my keys, and took it two doors down to Brake Masters who did a great job and didn't waste my time. Don't bother to take your car here for service, they will make you wait all day for something they can do in minutes. read more

Went in for a "free" flat repair. Over an hour later, got the car back. The next morning, the tire was flat again! The tire has a tiny leak that they claimed to have repaired. It appears they just filled the tire with air and did not actually perform any repair. The "free flat repair" is a ploy to get you to come back for a full tire replacement. The reality is they don't want to service a car that only needs a flat repair. They will waste your time and try to convince you that you need an entire new tire. Your better off fixing the flat yourself, which only costs a few bucks. Nothing is "free" without strings. Don't fall for this and don't waste your time. read more

I had recently bought two tires at another Goodyear shop in Southern California, but the price of those tires were beyond what I had available. I was extremely hesitant on coming back here after reading all of these awful yelp reviews. I came in for a simple oil change & was told I needed about $1,200 worth of work done. New brakes, new ball joint, 4 new tires, new AC belt, etc. They replaced the tires the same day I came in for the oil change (around 3 hrs total) & i scheduled an appt to drop off my car all day Sat for them to fix the rest. Thankfully, the main mechanic, Chris, was here to re-check all of the potential issues my car had because it ended up not needing a new ball joint which was at least $200. He fixed everything perfectly AND realigned the rear brakes and cleaned all of the dust out for free. I will be coming back here as long as Chris is here to fix my car. 4 stars because they should be re-checking the rookies estimates before giving them out to their customers. read more

I have a regular mechanic that I use for the bigger issues but what about on weekends and especially Sunday when you need a flat repair, belt replaced, a leak checked, .. stuff happens on weekends too when you regular shop is probably closed. Recently, on a Sunday morning, drivers side front flat on my wife's car .. flat as a pancake. The mini-wheels that come as spares are embarrassing and no way was I gonna take off work or risk a lunch hour during the week for a flat repair. I arrived at 9:00am on Sunday and was out by 10:00am. No appointment. Being one of the only places open on weekends you may have to wait a bit longer if you don't have an appointment; it's just the way it is. They have a few employees working the bays/repairs on weekends, not just one guy. If you have time to kill, go the mall (in the same parking lot), or walk to any of the many shops and restaurants around, chill a bit. I haven't used this repair facility for anything other than minor or basic maintenance but being open on weekends (especially Sunday) is a big deal. read more

I have always done this and am always able to get taken care of. The advisors are very friendly and take the time to break down any issue associated with your car. Last Sunday I noticed that I had picked up a screw in one of the tires on my truck, and unfortunately my favorite tire shop, Les Schwab, is closed on Sundays. So I went to the Goodyear across the street to get my tire fixed before I got a flat. An hour and $20. That's how long and how much it took for them to pull a 1/2 inch screw out of my tire and patch it up. I thought both were excessive, although honestly I was more peeved at the time than the money. The waiting area sucks. Don't wait around the store if you can help it. Uncomfortable, dirty, stained couches await you here. Trek across the parking lot to the mall, or across the street for a burger or drink at Red Robin instead. read more

I had an appt for 8:00am and dropped the car off at 7:30am for oil/filter change, fuel filter, tire rotation, alignment. I call 7 hours later at 3pm and was told by Sophia the wrong filter was delivered so they started on a later appt. She stated the right part came in but instead of finishing my vehicle she stated as soon as they were done with the other vehicle they would get back to mine as soon as they could. REALLY? Why make an appt? Now my ride has to wait because they are making me wait. Wouldn't better costumer service be finish the car you started with the 8 am appt as soon as your mistake of wrong part being delivered was corrected and explain to next client their vehicle might be a little later? Might have worked if Sophia had the courtesy to even let me know the wrong part was delivered so my vehicle would be little later than promised. Poor poor customer service! read more

I went here for an oil change considering they were one of the cheaper options in the area. After the oil change my car was leaking oil and my brother checked under my car only to notice they did not tighten the drain plug, he was able to tighten it 3 full turns with just his bare hands. The manager was nice enough to refund me but I do not feel safe returning my car to this location. read more
