Full disclosure, I had se a reservation for an oil change, nothing crazy, saw an ad, needed one. I called to check in how long approximately they anticipated it taking as I had a commitment following. Sam, this is where you started giving the wildest reasons why I may not even get out of there with one tonight-- potentially failed inspection (warranting state law immediate fix), bays breaking down hydraulics, not knowing repair depth, etc. It just kept getting weirder and more like I shouldn't trust them. Good people to do business with. I've bought a few tires there over the years and have always been treated well. Yesteray I had a vibration that felt like a tire out of round. They removed and inspected all four and the vibration went away. Since they didn't find a specific problem, they didn't charge me. I like this store. read more

I discovered I had a flat tire after a lunch appointment in Sun Valley Shopping Center. Called road side service - said it would be 2+hrs. The Sun Valley Goodyear was 150 yards away. I walked up to see if they could help me. The response "we can't do anything off-premise per our company policy and for liability reasons". I asked if they have a portable pump and they told me it was broken. I then got a neighbor, 20 minutes away, who kindly brought me my portable pump. I pumped up the tire and drove it 150 yards. Rude staff ... one person on the staff was actually laughing at my scenario. This back and forth to get to this point was 2 hrs. Then they tell me it will be an hour before they can plug my tire ("we take customers first come, first served") - brilliant. No consideration what I needed to do to get the truck to them. Goodyear just lost a customer for life. Hello Continental! Take your business elsewhere there customer service is horrible. Update: started this ordeal at 1:45 - just leaving at 5pm. read more

The guy was nice, no problem. Not his fault, but they price gauged me on a freakin headlight. $12 at Auto Zone and AZ puts in for free. Goodyear, 37 dollars for bulb and "labor." I was in there for inspection. Guy came over and said bulb was out, $37. Heck, I thought he meant the whole bill. No! 37 was just for the bulb stuff. Pens at counter in small box that say "sanitized for your protection," yet the employee used them himself without cleaning before putting them back in container. Not so sanitized anymore. Customers in store without masks; no one said a word to them. Employees did have masks. I won't go back to GY despite employees very nice.. I'll go to the place next door. If I could give zero stars I would. We had gone here once before with no specific problems to report. Returned for them to balance and rotate his tires. Upon bringing him to pick up his truck, the awkward parking lot had a truck with tires on one side and a tow truck on the other so I chose to go down the aisle without traffic so I could circle around. I arrived to the end to find that my husbands truck was parked at the front next to another car, completely blocking the area to drive. I sat for a bit while my husband was in line to pay inside. Eventually I saw an employee walk out of the bay and asked "excuse me, do you know whose car this is, I can't get out of the parking lot unless I reverse". He then told me, this is where they park cars when they're ready, guess you'll wait or have to reverse. I responded that these are not parking spots, it is the area to drive (these cars were also blocking the handicap person leaving from backing out of their spot. After that person walked away and so rudely shrugged their shoulders and told me to wait or figure it out. I went inside where the manager walked outside with me to see the issue. He pretty much told me, "get over it, this is where we park cars that are being picked up, you can go out the other way" which again, that area had been blocked for the previous 5 minutes I had been there. As I walked back toward the entrance to the business to tell me husband we would not be returning to this establishment the manager said "you're lucky I even fixed your husbands truck it was fucked up". I responded, no it wasn't, we just got the lift, rims, and tires and he proceeded to complain about how bad it was and how lucky we were he even did the work. I decided in desperation to bring my 2008 GMC Yukon into this Goodyear after noticing my brake pads slipping on my travel from Washington DC where I am currently stationed. My wife and I drive home to Charlotte on the weekends because we are small business owners and typically have events on the weekends, as was the case this time. Since I needed my Yukon to pull out food trailer, I had no choice but to trust Goodyear. After dropping the vehicle off on a Saturday morning I received a call from the service manager (Michael?) letting me know that in addition to my front brake pads i would be needing a new Caliper as my had locked up. The total cost was going to be over $1,000. I told Michael that I would move forward but wanted to keep the Caliper and take it to my trusted mechanic (Tire Country in Monroe) when they open on Monday to verify I wasn't being scammed. He originally agreed than later called me back to let me know there would be an additional charge if I wanted to keep the Caliper. That's when my intuition started to tell me I was being scammed. I told Michael to put my car back together and I would be taking it to my mechanic on Monday. To their credit they rotated my tires when they put the car back together. I borrowed my brothers truck to work the event and parked the Yukon for the weekend. When I brought my vehicle to tire country the following week, turns out the only thing wrong was the brake pads were work. NO issue with the Calipers!!!! $200 later I was on my way. Bottom line, this place LIED to me in order to charge me over $800 I did not need to spend. Do not bring your vehicle here. read more

Took my car here to have the brake fluid replaced and oil changed somehow now costs me 1400. I literally Change the caliper myself and the brake pads bought the parts before even got there but now I'm still paying $1400 without an explanation the rotors weren't bad nothing else was bad I fix everything myself I just needed a break fluid Filled up in my lines blade and oil changedWhen I took this car here previously this whenever the brakes started messing up they said they already change the caliper but to my understanding nothing had ever gotten changed because it was the original caliper still on the car when I changed it yesterday so they lied two times now and now I've spent over $4000 to get something fixed that shouldn't even cost that much because I did most of the work this is an extremely unprofessional store and a lie to everybody just to try to make extra money and you can tell the video just by the way they Talk to the customers they try to Schemin swindle people out of their money by making things seem worse than they actually are and then charge you a ridiculous amount for parts that you already paid for will never be coming back here again So I went to go pick my car up and then the assistant or the manager whatever you wanna call him decides to come out and then try to make a scene saying that I'm wrong for posting his post what he charged $1400 to do nothing and then wouldn't give me back my original items Saying that he needed them for the warranty which is ridiculous because I was good but it would've given him the same part but they were used he took my brand new items use the warranty real smart guy and then it's even funnier that you want to come out there and make a scene in front of other customers because somebody posted a bad review about half done your business is ridiculous I'm glad that you Saw my review maybe you'll treat your customers right and not lie to them and charge me $60 to clean the car when I didn't even ask for it trying to make it $1400 a different way because my calipers were under warranty that's kind of shady and then you won't even give me back the ones that I bought out of my pocket and put on myself to fix a mistake it's your business did. Just needed one tire replaced which seemed simple enough. Took 45 minutes before they even took my car back. My main grievance...I specifically asked that anyone who get in my car be masked and they did not comply. I noticed that some mechanics had masks on and some did not. Some had gloves on and some did not. Some put plastic on the steering wheels and seats while others did not. I sat outside and watched for almost two hours and the precautions were totally inconsistent. I am not happy that I specifically asked that no one get in my car without a mask on and they did it anyway. And the simple task of changing one tire took forever. My daughter's car had a small nail embedded in the tire today. I called several of the local tire shops, including NTB, Discount Tire, and another Goodyear location (in Charlotte). NTB and Discount Tire only plug-and-patched (and we only wanted a patch) and the Charlotte Goodyear location had a 2/1/2 hour wait. I called this Goodyear in Indian Trail next. The manager, George, answered the phone and told me to bring in on in and they would take care of it right away. They were courteous and professional. The store itself was spotless and designed for people to wait--there was a coffee station with Keurig pods, clean restrooms, and numerous outlets near chairs. The best part is that the patch was done in 10 minutes and it was free! I couldn't have been more impressed. read more

Don't waste your time going here for ANY reason. The store manager, George, told me I couldn't have a nail pulled and the tire patched because I had excessive wear in two tires. He said the vehicle was not safe to drive without two new tires. I went to Honda and they fixed it. Honda never said anything about the tires and they have just as much liability as Goodyear. I called him back to let him know I was able to get the tire fixed and he wouldn't let me speak without interrupting to tell me it was Goodyear's policy of refusing to fix my flat and demand I get new tires and not his. He even called me back to try and justify Goodyear's position and still wouldn't let me speak. He's an old school man who won't concede on ANY point. Carried a flat in while running on spare, tire was cut on side and had to be replaced. Was right at closing time,they replaced the tire at a very reasonable price. For no additional charge they put it on my truck and put the spare back on the rack underneath, and topped off the other 3 tires with air working past their closing time. They won a new customer tonight. read more
