At first, we were satisfied with the facade the service associate, Jason(later learned he is a manager) had. We felt great that our Jeep was in good hands. Until they learned the exact amount that the financing was approved for. I brought the jeep in for a battery and a once over. Found out the rear differential had to be replaced, as well as battery and an oil change. Conveniently, my $2500 worth of credit at the store netted an invoice of $2497. Crazy how I was approved for the exact amount the needed to charge, huh? But wait, it gets better. They charged me almost $600 just for the battery. And they didn't bother to call and ask if I wanted the $250 battery or the $100 battery. Remember, Im approved for $2500, so the goal is to now ring it all up! YUP, almost $200 of that was labor for an assistant to spend 15 minutes on. I had plans to get the 4 tires plus the spare replaced here to, but HELL NO. The best part....the check engine light is still on, the tire pressure lights are saying low tire pressure (even though i paid for a tire rotation with the $150 oil change) I don't recommend anyone go here. They don't deserve a penny of your hard earned money. They should be ashamed read more

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change, when I came in for it I was told the computer systems were all down. I simply asked if I could leave my car overnight, and was forced to call someone to drive me back to my house. The next morning I got a call that my battery wasn't holding as much battery as it should, and that it would cost $380. When I can in for my oil change, they tried to charge me 20 dollars more because they didn't use the oil I requested, something that wasn't brought up in our phone call. Then when I went to leave my car wouldn't start, and somehow the only night that I left my car with them my battery fully died and needed to be replaced. I told them I would call my mom and went inside to get more information about the battery where I was completely ignored and the salesman began to replace my battery anyway. read more

I will never be coming back to this location. I don't recommend this place. I came here back in November to replace my tires. They let me know that my tires were on and ready to pick up my car. When I got there they had put the wrong tires on. This is after waiting 4 hours. So I had to wait another 1 hour and half for them to fix their mistake. They didn't offer any kind of discount for their mistake. They also gave me some one else's invoice. I am infuriated a Goodyear in Waxhaw and for good reason once you read exactly what transpired. Let me preface this by saying I took my company vehicle to get fixed and they took FULL Advantage of this situation. First I came in and asked ONLY for a tire fix and rotate. I said any work that needed to be done must be confirmed with me first. So I get a call at 431. I am unable to return the call as I am busy. I come in this morning. And I have new tires which I did not need! I am so pissed. So not only did they change tires but they also charged to fix the tire. Are you kidding me. I did not want new tires from you Goodyear, I have a preferred place in Waxhaw that I go to as they are competent. So I find out they have my old tires in the back. The tech admits that these are like new. I'm so mad. I took them to confirm their lies. Mary tells me, oh I called u. I said did I return ur calll? NO that doesn't give u the right to change my tires. I told u not to do anything except fix the flat and rotate my tires. I am calling corporate Goodyear to make them aware of this situation. You took total advantage of the fact that YOU consistently have ZERO cars in your bays! How do u even charge someone for a flat and then new tires as well? Because u were gonna keep my old tires like a snake. I will never ever ever do any business here ever. Get your act together Goodyear, you already blew up an engine and now u can't even do simple tasks like contact the customer and wait for a confirmation. I would have told you NO yesterday. A simple flat tire and tire rotation turned into a disaster! You had no right to hangs tires without my permission even if it was a company vehicle. Please see the attached receipts to demonstrate that at 3:09 pm is when a new ticket was opened to change tires. My tire was brought in to be fixed and rotated at 8:19 and completed at 9:07. The hours are incorrect. They close at 5:00 and will not help you without an appointment. Even if they see you waiting, they will ignore you. A sign on the door gave a number to call for assistance and a mechanic came in very annoyed asking, "is that you calling?! I'm working both front and back of house! I haven't even had a lunch break today. I'm done for the day, you need to go to go somewhere else." This place has terrible customer service and they play the classic bait and switch. Avoid these guys at all costs. I booked an appointment for an oil change online for $75, ok fine. I show up for my 11:00 appointment and they tell me not only will it take 2 hours, it will actually cost $120. So what is the point of booking an appointment if it's going to take 2 hours? Then to add insult to injury the "recommended" oil change that was $75 online is now $120. Shameful! I went to Valvoline got it done in 10 minutes for $100. read more

This specific location in Waxhaw is the place I take my vehicles each year for the NCDMV inspection. I have never had a complaint about their customer service and the respect shown to me by the many employees I have come in contact with over the years. I am certain with most locations, turnover of employees is common. However, with each new person I have dealt with at this location, I have never been treated as anything other than a valued customer. That is why I keep going back year after year. I dropped my vehicle off the night before the service was to be done and it was ready some six hours earlier than I had planned to return and pick it up. I made an appt. online for an oil change which was super easy. They called to let me know they may not get to my car today but can tomorrow. I said, no problem, can I drop it off anyway and if you don't get to it, can you do it in the morning. I did and they called me by 8:20 the next day that my car was ready. I have been to this good year location two times and have been completely satisfied from start to finish. Mrs Mary is sincere, helpful and honest about providing customer service to all. They provided the best value tires available for my vehicle and had them delivered same day to their location. Installed the next morning. Appointments are recommended as they do stay pretty busy. Ask for Mrs Mary to be treated with true southern hospitality Update 1/23/19 Jason, at this location, not only got me scheduled for a Nail Repair on the same day, but had me out the door in 10 minutes instead of hours later. He checked me in and based on his troubleshooting, brought a spray bottle and a nail removing tool to me car in the parking lot. He quickly removed the partial screw and tested for leaks, none found, and sent me on my way! I'm always happy with the service here and I do shop around for best prices. read more

Mary was a wonderful help. I came in for an oil change, fluid check and 29 point inspection before a long road trip. While there, I found out that I needed new tires ASAP. Instead of twisting my arm to get me to get the full set on the spot, she told me I really only needed two tires right away to be safe on my drive and got me good tires that were very affordable instead of pushing me towards the expensive ones. Most recently they lied and said I was left a voicemail but I was not left with anything. Then when I went to the location I was told they were booked up and made it out as my fault. I really needed my state inspection done and arranged for an appt online for first thing Wednesday morning. I brought my car in and they let me know that they typically do not do state inspections on Wednesdays but since I was there that they would do it for me. Seems their website doesn't always align with their policy, but they typically do a courtesy call when that occurs. I was just too early. I found the guys there very friendly and helpful. So it's taken me a week to write this review. I wouldn't write it until I could write a thorough review. On Wednesday, May 15 I made an appointment online for a state inspection and oil change. Appointment was for Thursday, May 14 at 9 am. I was on my way to the appointment when I received a phone call telling me that they were swamped that morning and they wouldn't be able to service my car. I was kind of upset but rescheduled for Sunday, May 17 at 9 am. My husband and I arrived at 8:58 am only to be told that they don't do state inspections on Sundays. I was quite ticked off that they cancelled my first appointment and then couldn't even do the main thing I needed done on the rescheduled appointment. My husband and I left. I think what really didn't sit well with me was that there was NO apology. I think the person I spoke with was Nick or Nicholas. He didn't apologize and pretty much made me feel like it was my fault that they don't do, and have never done state inspections on Sundays. Their customer service rating in my book is a true zero. Just thought I'd share so that others can avoid frustration with Goodyear and their horrible customer service. I know that know person/company is perfect but had there been even a slight acknowledgment of error on their part I may have considered to go back. If I could I would I give it zero stars. Was calling to see if there was an available appointment around lunchtime today. Didn't even finish speaking before he cut me off and said "nope, don't have an appointment, can't do it." Explaining the reasons why (which are all valid... I wasn't really expecting a high likelihood of an appointment but wanted to check). Came in for a set of tires. As my car was getting serviced, they came back and said one of my tires was "missing" a air pressure sensor and it would cost $88 for a new one. They later came back and said we had another air pressure sensor with a dead battery. It's odd that I took my car in with 4 working sensors and at the specific time they change my tires, I am being told I need 2 new sensors. They did end up charging for only 1 sensor when I questioned them on it. I left feeling unhappy with the service and the experience was enough to suggest I need to find another place for service next time. read more
