    King Pork Buns
    Jenny Z.

LOCATION: Inside of H-mart! Walk to the right side right when you enter. They have plenty of Togo food stations from taiyaki desserts to sushi or Korean soup meals. Kind and quick service, plenty of clean indoor seating. My go-to is their big king pork buns which are about $14. Although slightly on the drier side, they are packed with pork, veggies, and glass noodles. Baos always look perfect and the dough is nice and soft. Comes with a side of pickled radishes to pair, a small extra charge if you want more! Bring cash to avoid a charge as credit cards are accepted on orders $15 or more.

Excellent bao buns and other food made fresh in a little spot inside the DB HMart. I've had the pork buns in the past and ordered the red bean bao buns this time. Love that they are served to you coming directly out of the steam pots. Definitely enjoy the food here. Depending on availability and how busy it is, there may be a wait, but never too long. Always one of my local spots now!

This place is conveniently located just as you're entering H-mart. There is also some tables and chairs just across from the establishment. We ordered the medium boneless soy garlic chicken just before we made our round at the grocery store. The chicken was cooked well even though it was white meat. Yes, I wished it was dark meat for the boneless chicken, but flavors made up for it. The portion was very generous. And I also appreciate that the sauce coated every single piece of boneless chicken in the box. The chicken is made to order so we had to wait a bit while they prep that for us. The food came in a brown box and a brown paper bag. This is great because of their generous portion, we ended having to save the rest of our food for a later snack and that paper bag came in handy!

It is our first time going to H-mart diamond bar. We were looking for the restroom and accidentally saw this place and decided to give it a try. Ambiance: It was just like a korean foodcourt inside H-Mart so the space is a bit tight but there are tables and chairs to eat Cleanliness: The area is clean and well maintained Food / Price: The food is great. We bought the Bun half with meat and half with red bean so 6 big buns for around 12$ plus tax and it was delicious and cheap. especially the red bean bun it was great. Service: The cashier was nice and it just took around 5 mins to wait for the order to be serve. Parking is not an issue since H-Mart parking is huge.

That said I was pleasantly surprised with how balanced the meal was. I ordered three pockets: spicy tuna, grilled pepper salmon, and takowasa (octopus and wasabi). I will say the spicy tuna has got a kick to it! While the yubu is sweet, it's a very nice balance with the flavors from the toppings. Portion sizes are generous too, although there was more rice than toppings. Parking is plenty in this plaza. I came here on a Monday afternoon and there was no wait. My order came out within five minutes. There's a few tables inside to sit and eat as well. Would definitely come back!

There's so many toppings to choose from but I think my top 4 would have to be the fresh salmon, fresh ginger tuna, grilled bulgogi & fluffy egg.

But other than that, it's a regular restaurant. We came on a weekday night for a slightly later dinner and the restaurant was packed. We had to wait a couple minutes, but we were seated in around 10-ish minutes. Not bad. You can tell it's a community favorite since people were really friendly speaking with the servers in Korean. For our dinner, we got the: 1) Yumso Tang: -This is their hot and spicy goat soup. - I don't usually get this protein and soup base, but I wasn't the one that ordered. It is a hearty, very strongly goat flavored soup with lots of goat meat inside. -It's no spicier than a Shin Ramyun, so no worries about that, but quite flavorful and has a decent amount of leeks and other veggies inside. Definitely goes great with rice. 2) Soondae Jupsi: -Korean pork sausage plate. -This is a very generous amount of Korean blood pork sausage with some offal to the side too. I can sort of eat the blood sausage okay with the vinegar and salt combo, but need rice with it. And I'm not a fan of the offal pieces after. I was treated out, so I can't complain. Not the biggest fans of what was ordered, but I'm sure it's good for those who enjoy these dishes naturally. It also came with banchan and the purple Korean rice (my fav).

The interior was a more empty feeling space but maybe it was because it was just empty on a Saturday evening. The food itself was honestly just okay. I have had some curry udon in the past, but it just feels like this was a packaged curry with udon noodles and sausage. This was not worth the price. Same with the spicy rice cakes. The sauce and soup was solid, but a bit too much tang and it felt more like a packaged rice cake you can buy from the store the cheese was melted at first, but it became hard quickly after. I don't think I'd recommend both of the items. The saving grace was the Korean fried chicken wings. These are good, the sauce was yummy, and the texture was great.
