The prices have gone up, way way up. But the taste is still great. Although the spicy shrimp dumplings are way smaller than before. The best item they have are the large pork and veggie buns. They always have those ready to go so no waiting. Then the spicy kimchi dumplings are good, but a bit ginger forward. Their pickled radish is good but you only get 1 per order, if you want more it's EXTRA!!!!

LOCATION: Inside of H-mart! Walk to the right side right when you enter. They have plenty of Togo food stations from taiyaki desserts to sushi or Korean soup meals. Kind and quick service, plenty of clean indoor seating. My go-to is their big king pork buns which are about $14. Although slightly on the drier side, they are packed with pork, veggies, and glass noodles. Baos always look perfect and the dough is nice and soft. Comes with a side of pickled radishes to pair, a small extra charge if you want more! Bring cash to avoid a charge as credit cards are accepted on orders $15 or more.

Excellent bao buns and other food made fresh in a little spot inside the DB HMart. I've had the pork buns in the past and ordered the red bean bao buns this time. Love that they are served to you coming directly out of the steam pots. Definitely enjoy the food here. Depending on availability and how busy it is, there may be a wait, but never too long. Always one of my local spots now!

This place is conveniently located just as you're entering H-mart. There is also some tables and chairs just across from the establishment. We ordered the medium boneless soy garlic chicken just before we made our round at the grocery store. The chicken was cooked well even though it was white meat. Yes, I wished it was dark meat for the boneless chicken, but flavors made up for it. The portion was very generous. And I also appreciate that the sauce coated every single piece of boneless chicken in the box. The chicken is made to order so we had to wait a bit while they prep that for us. The food came in a brown box and a brown paper bag. This is great because of their generous portion, we ended having to save the rest of our food for a later snack and that paper bag came in handy!

Can't go wrong with the korean style dumplings here! If I am in the mood for dumplings I drive from Fullerton to DB for them! It's a gem!

So good!! You must check it this place…read more Location - in the corner left of the plaza. Pass the billiard. Parking- tons of parking spots. Interior - simple decor. There are plenty of seating. Food - super good! They make it so well and looks so yummy! It is as good as it looks. It may seem a little pricey, but once you eat it, you realize that it's really filling. They put so much meat in there and packed the rice. 2 gets me full. I get one of I want a yummy snack. Tried the chipotle salmon, bulgogi, salmon, and fresh ginger tuna, and the fish tasted fresh. These can get super filling since there was a hefty amount of rice compared to the amount of topping. Everything we had tasted so delicious and flavorful, even the side dishes that consisted of kimchi, fish cakes, and some chives. We kept asking for more and the employees were more than happy to keep them coming! For food, we got the bossam, sulungtang, and yukgaejang. The bossam arrived on this grill that kept it warm throughout the meal, which I can appreciate. The sulungtang and yukgaejang were both phenominal and hit the korean comfort food cravings. Get the purple rice!! Not to mention they had deals on alcohol too. I believe $5 for beer and $7 for a soju bottle -- cant beat that in this economy! Definitely will be adding this to my rotation for korean food.

We decided to split both dishes, and the portions ended up being pretty large for the price. We were full and still managed to have leftovers to take home afterward. Overall, the food was filling, seasoned well, and well portioned without being overly expensive. The only downside was that our waters were never refilled during the meal, although it honestly looked like there was only one server working at the time. Despite that, the service was still quick overall, and I'd definitely come back again to try some of the other items on their menu.

I ordered the tofu stew with sausage, and the portion was huge!! I ended up splitting it over two meals. I also added an egg for an extra $2.50, which was a nice touch. Overall, the stew was delicious and really hit the spot. The ordering process is pretty straightforward bc you pay first before finding a seat. There's also plenty of parking available outside, which is super convenient. One cute detail I loved was the small ice cream bar in the front which it adds a fun touch to the place. I'd definitely come back again!

The interior was a more empty feeling space but maybe it was because it was just empty on a Saturday evening. The food itself was honestly just okay. I have had some curry udon in the past, but it just feels like this was a packaged curry with udon noodles and sausage. This was not worth the price. Same with the spicy rice cakes. The sauce and soup was solid, but a bit too much tang and it felt more like a packaged rice cake you can buy from the store the cheese was melted at first, but it became hard quickly after. I don't think I'd recommend both of the items. The saving grace was the Korean fried chicken wings. These are good, the sauce was yummy, and the texture was great. I was disappointed because of the high remarks for this place.
