Decent jajangmyeon. Pretty thick sauce but didn't feel super heavy. Flavorful. Pickled radish and onion was not outstanding but still good to cut through. Noodles were a bit too soft for my liking.

Came here for the jajangmyeon and will say it was a solid 7/10. Wish it had more earthy flavor but this place may have been founded by a chef that specialized in it (from the Swiss hotel?) I google translated an article they have posted outside the restaurant. Was pleasantly surprised by the mushu pork and eggplant. The eggplant was battered which is different than most garlic eggplant dishes I've had before. Once it soaked up the gravy and sauce, it tasted better and less dry. This place is very large inside, and tables are seated super close to each other (which makes sense to accommodate more people), but it was a bit snug! There were lots of smaller private rooms along the sides which would be good for events!

5/5 for service, ambience and food. M Garden has such a lovely vibe with the cozy plant decor and friendly service. The lunch combos (ranging from $22-27) are always so filling and the perfect amount of food. Whether you're a jjamppong or jjajang lover, you can get your favorite noodles and also try another dish, such as Mongolian beef or kkanpung shrimp on the side with the lunch meal. The Mongolian beef is amazing, with the perfect blend of sweet and smoky flavors, which inspired me to write this review. My personal favorite jjampong- fire, with noodles cooked to perfection every time. Your meal is accompanied by an appetizing egg drop/ mushroom soup and the best jasmine tea. Love this place, don't let this classic be forgotten in your Chinese-Korean food rotation!

    Birthday celebration.

As always, the food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Our family came for lunch to celebrate a birthday, and they went above and beyond to make the occasion special. They surprised us by bringing out the birthday cake with music, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. I was genuinely touched by their warm hospitality and the lovely ambiance. It made our family celebration even more meaningful. Thank you for making our special day so memorable!

We were in the area and turned to Yelp to find a dinner spot--it led us to this place. We were craving jiajangmyeon, and it turned out to be perfect: rich, flavorful, and delicious. We also ordered the sweet and sour pork, which was a unique twist on the traditional version you'd find at a Chinese restaurant. Instead of being drenched in sauce, the pork came dry-fried with a sweet and sour dipping sauce on the side. I really liked this approach--it lets you control how much sauce you use, and the addition of woodear mushrooms in the sauce was a nice touch. We also had the sautéed green beans, and they brought out a bowl of rice to go with everything, which was appreciated. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable meal. And the complimentary candied sweet potato treat at the end? A nostalgic surprise--it tasted just like how my dad used to make it.

I had no idea this place existed until recently because I'm in this area all the time and can't believe I slept on it for this long. The ambiance here easily reminded me of one of my favorite Chinese/Korean spots in Garden Grove (Peking Gourmet). And if you've read my reviews, you already know I live for a jajangmyeon + tangsuyuk combo. Service left a lot to be desired, but let's be real you don't come to a place like this expecting 5-star service. The truth is in the food. Jajangmyeon - Huge portion (def sharable) and super reasonably priced. The noodles were slippery, chewy, and perfect. Solid 8/10. Tangsuyuk - They definitely use potato starch here and it shows. Perfect chew, crisp coating, and the pork was moist (not dry at all). Easily a 9/10 - probably one of the better versions I've had. Overall, this spot is a strong contender and I'll definitely be back whether that be for takeout or getting my monthly fix of jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk.

The food isn't as good as it used to be, and the dishes came out looking sloppy. The service wasn't great either -- the staff seemed indifferent. I've been here many times before, but this visit was really disappointing. I won't be coming back.

Haven't been here in YEARS but my family used to come here all the time. We celebrated so many birthdays in the private room. I heard that they changed ownership but the food still hits the same My sister & I ordered 2 lunch specials. We got the kkangppong shrimp + black bean noodles & the tangsuyuk + spicy seafood noodles Both the noodle dishes were amazing, the black bean noodle is always a classic. The jjamppong was soooo good, literally my favorite. The noodles are perfect! So chewy and holds flavor so well. broth was so rich with flavor and had the perfect kick of spiciness Service was great! The servers are extremely attentive and fast. They're really nice too I can't to come back & I highly recommend to anyone who wants some really good Korean/Chinese food

    Starters on all tables.

Service here is great, very polite and friendly. I always come here for their black bean noodles. This time I also ordered their sizzling rice soup, which was ok. They changed owners a long time go, the only difference is that it is a different paint color for years now and higher prices.

It's simple and quiet in there, with minimal decor but enough tables and chairs to fit a few different sized groups. Service was average to me, if not a little below that; they serve your food and leave you alone. I don't think the older gentleman came over at all due in our meal except to drop off food, and I had to go up to ask for additional utensils and later, pay for the food. Food (4/5): Honestly, the food was pretty on point. The jook (porridge) came out piping hot and much larger in size than expected, but that explains the higher price point, although not everyone may feel it's justified. I'm used to getting jook from their other Buena Park location to go for sick days, but eating it fresh was so much better. Kids loved it and got several servings. We also got the yukgaejang, which was the perfect amount of spice and a good amount to share if you're not particularly hungry. It had chewy, medium thick vermicelli noodles, came with a bowl of rice and the usual helpings of greens and meat. Restroom was clean, although the soap was strangely watery/watered down. Would we come again? This makes for a tasty and quick meal in the area, so it'd be a decent place to meet up to eat or eat with the fam if you're looking for good Korean comfort food. They also serve a variety of other things like ginseng chicken soup and bibimbap varieties.

For our dinner, we got the: 1) Yumso Tang: -This is their hot and spicy goat soup. - I don't usually get this protein and soup base, but I wasn't the one that ordered.
