    Sticky Toffee Pudding

We wanted to give this another try after enjoying an amazing meal at Hell's Kitchen in Las Vegas. Even though several of the menu items are similar, it just didn't come close. Our waiter, Ethan was great. His helper, Sarah, might still be learning. I ordered a crab cake and macaroni and cheese. Both were average. My husband got a filet which he ordered medium rare. There was 1/4th inch on the outside that was gray. There was part of it that was medium rare, but not much. When I asked Sarah if she thought it looked like a medium rare, she encouraged us to give it a couple more bites and then decide. We just let it go. The baked potato my husband ordered was delicious. We were really looking forward to the sticky toffee pudding. It was really good. If we hadn't had it in Vegas (perfection), we wouldn't have known that it could be better. We won't go back

An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Gordon Ramsay Steak! Kansas City food lovers, this one is a must-visit! Gordon Ramsay Steak at Harrah's Casino exceeded all my expectations, delivering an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is stunning--a modern take on an English pub, blending contemporary design with rich, inviting furnishings. The vibrant colors and chic décor set the perfect mood for an upscale yet welcoming dining experience. Their wine selection is also top-tier, with a well-curated wine cellar to perfectly pair with your meal. We started with a round of appetizers, including: * Smoked Beef Tartare - A flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth bite * Lobster Risotto - Creamy, rich, and indulgent * Scallops - Perfectly seared and beautifully presented We also enjoyed some soup and salad, both fresh and well-prepared. For the main course, we couldn't pass up their famous steaks. Every cut was cooked to perfection, and the sides were just as impressive--especially the Mac & Cheese, which was unbelievably rich and creamy. We also tried the Roasted Chicken and, of course, Gordon Ramsay's signature Beef Wellington--an absolute showstopper! To end the night, we indulged in Sticky Toffee Pudding, Cheesecake, and Carrot Cake, paired with some of the best Espresso Martinis I've ever had. This was easily one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Kansas City. From the impeccable service to the beautiful presentation and unforgettable flavors, everything was flawless. If you haven't been yet, put Gordon Ramsay Steak on your list! Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic dinner last night at Gordon Ramsey Steak - KC. Chose GRS simply because it was in our hotel (Harrah's) and snowing like crazy. My husband was torn between a dry aged ribeye and lamb rack. Waiter steered him toward the lamb. It did not disappoint. I went with the beef short rib. Absolutely delicious. We will be here for a couple more days. I don't see anything wrong with having dinner in the same place twice nights in a row!

Ethan & Amara were wonderful, attentive & friendly servers. The risotto with lobster was cooked perfectly. Beef Wellington is my favorite and never disappoints. My husband had the lamb & said it was delicious. The restaurant was nice, nothing super fancy like Vegas, but it is MO. Seemed like the portions were a tad smaller than Vegas. They bring you warm tasty rosemary bread that is yum! I would go back for the Wellington & risotto again & again.

I WANT GORDON TO SPOON FEED ME HIS MUSHROOM RISOTO. You know when you're at @gordonramsaysteakkc you can only whip your phone out so many times to take pictures before the other people eating there stare judgingly at the little girl eating a steak that costs more than your left kidney. Therefore, there are a few dishes I didn't get to take pictures of. Like the steak tartare. My sister and boyfriend were like seagulls with it let me tell you I had to fight for a bite it was so freaking delicious. Next the mushroom risotto with scallops on top. After that really all I needed was a warm blanket and a good sleep BUT NO THERE IS MORE (Gordon says). BEEF WELLINGTON is like your dream pillow wrapped in carbs and I can't describe the taste it's so good but imagine if Christmas had a flavor and there you go. My sister got the cheesecake and said it was the best thing she ever had. I didn't try it because I was about to burst but THE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER LET GRACE MY MOUTH. If you can't afford to eat here (because let's be real who can?) just get this! Come here for dessert because EVERYONE DESERVES TO TRY THIS PUDDING. I'm not exaggerating at all like HOLY CRAP JUST AHHHHHH. Any way though, thank you @gordongram for opening restaurants and knowing how to cook so well you beautiful man. ALSO! @gordongram your waiters tried to take my chip basket away with 5 chips left. If I'm eating at Gordon I'm gonna eat those 5 chips (which I did). GO GET THE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING!!!!

As always-a Gordon Ramsey restaurant was magnificent. We celebrated my college graduation here over Mother's Day weekend. The wait staff was so accommodating and helpful. They ensured we understood how meals were prepared and offered suggestions. We had a private dining room and our own staff attending to us. The restaurant itself is decorated well and has some fun art pieces. The food was outstanding and we were very pleased!

Best steakhouse I have visited in Kansas City. Amazing flavor. Cooked to perfection. The setting was luxurious. Friendliest servers. And that sticky toffee pudding is .

Absolutely incredible! My husband and I have been twice. It's truly a wonderful dining experience with quality service. We went last year and this year for our anniversary and they gave us a special treat when they found out. Our waitress was amazing and our food was fantastic! You can't go without getting the sticky toffee pudding!

Food - really good for what I ordered but way expensive Service - great attentive but not over-bearing a hard balance to achieve Ambiance - dark ish steak restaurant but J.Gilbert's does better 1st time here. Checked out the menu b4-hand, and went in knowing this is a $$$$ kind of place Some American Wagyu Filet is $100 and Japanese Wagyu is 40 / oz w a 3 oz minimum!!! All appetizers are the same price like 15, so not all over the place/price. Pendergast drink 4 me was perfect - and will be having my leftovers for sure. Great place to go for an extravagant (!!!) and indulgent meal w/o going to Vegas/NY/CA price point ceilings.

My first time visiting and we tried the tasting menu. Our server Jaqueline was amazing and so friendly. It's a very romantic vibe with hints of England and Ramsey. We got such nice take away menus. The overall meal was in the salty side for my tastes which was a little letdown; I just can't take large amounts of sodium at my age The Citrus salad was perfectly balanced with hints of citrus, arugula and ibérico ham. Delicious! My risotto al dente which was unpleasant. The scallops were cooked perfectly. My Wellington was served so hot and delicious; but also aggressively salted. The potato puree was shiny and over beaten. The carrots and turnips were tender and delicious. The dessert was FANTASTIC, I wish I could have poured my own toffee after I had cut into it to sop up more of that delicious sauce. The brown butter ice cream was perfection! Overall it was a fun indulgent evening.

Came here for our anniversary dinner! The ambiance is lovely, the service was amazing, and the food was absolutely fantastic. We got the scallop risotto, beef wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. We have gotten this same meal several times at different gordon locations, and ever time is better than the last! It was all so delicious and highly recommend for a celebratory dinner of any kind.

I've been to Hell's Kitchen in DC before but decided to check out Gordon Ramsay Steak while in Kansas City and take my daughter out for her birthday, as I knew this would be a place she would enjoy. The restaurant atmosphere and ambiance was all very nice and classy. Definitely a nice place for a date night. I'm not sure if I'm a huge fan of the restaurant being at the casino though, as the cigarette smoke from the casino definitely made it's way throughout the restaurant as well. The smell was not overwhelming, but you can tell it is there. The food and drinks were all great. The drinks were very refreshing. The oysters were flavorful and fresh. The lobster tail and steaks were all cooked according to what we asked for. We got the Japanese A5, dry aged steak, and beef wellington, but I'd say the beef wellington was my favorite. It was tender and cooked perfectly. I think it lives up to the hype. The desserts were also really good and a great ending to our meal. The waitress was also nice enough to give my daughter a cheesecake for her birthday on the house, which was also very nice of them. We got our drinks, some bread and butter, and oysters within 15 minutes of ordering, but I did notice after a while that an hour had passed already and we didn't get any of our food yet. Our servers were nice and attentive during this time, and we got more bread and butter while waiting, but it seemed like a while to wait for our food. We were there on a Thursday night and the restaurant was not packed by any means, so maybe the beef wellington needed some time to cook? Who knows? Overall, the food and atmosphere were great. I would expect nothing less from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. I definitely recommend checking this place out for the experience and great food for a special occasion or if you want to splurge a little while at the casino. Things do add up so be ready to spend a little bit of money too.

Our server was absolutely phenomenal. Samson did everything he could to make it an unforgettable experience. I know he was upselling us on a lot of stuff for the tips but just the information that he provided about everything, from the wines, to Gordon Ramsey facts and history about the menu, he was genuinely one of the nicest and most attentive people I've had in service. I will also note I am LGBTQ+ and was absolutely terrified for my first real date with a man. I was so nervous of all of the judging eyes and the possibility we would face homophobia in a luxurious environment but they were so accepting and almost elevated the experience just because of that. They made it more unique and took a lot of extra steps. The hostesses were so sweet and I saw them coming around and looking over at me and my date to see how it was going. It was really cute. It was a first for both of us haha. The wait was kind of insane. They do serve in European style where they wait for you to finish your dish before they will even start the next one. This is important to know because if you're one of those people that just wants things to keep on coming, you'll probably have to let them know. Also, I appreciate all the time in between each of the dishes for the experience, because it gave time to give a palette cleanser and really appreciate all of the unique flavor profiles I was being afforded. Please look at it from this angle because it is very obvious these servers are put through hell for something out of their control. 1.) arugula and citrus - the dressing is one of the best I've had. The lemon was pungent and it was tart. I was disappointed by the arugula, I'm not a fan typically, but the dressing completely elevated the dish and it was rather enjoyable. 2.) scallop risotto- my risotto was the first one I've ever had. I seriously have no reference to go off of for this but it was absolutely delicious I almost cried. So cheesy and tangy and just one of those explode in your mouth types of flavors. Just unforgettable. 3.) beef Wellington - the most perfectly cooked beef I've ever had, and the fact that it is wrapped in a crepe AND puff pastry, and still tastes light like that is insane. It is sweet but the most tender and juicy cut of meat ever. Potato puree with julienne carrots, just the prettiest dish. 4.) Sticky toffee pudding... probably the best thing I've eaten in my life. The brown sugar toffee butter they poured on the date cake is the most delicious sauce I have had dessert wise. For my date, they also gave us a free dessert, the cheesecake. The flowers were REAL and it was platted in the most elegant fashion. I cried a little when they brought it out because they just made me, and the guy I came with, feel so special. Almost feel the date sealed that this will turn into something real. Thank you Harrah's and Gordon Ramsey steak!!

This place has built a loyal following for its creative biscuit sandwiches, and now I understand why. We arrived around 11 a.m., and ordering was quick and easy. I like spicy food, but not the kind that leaves you reaching for a gallon of milk. When the cashier described the Nashville Hot Chicken as "mild hot," he nailed it. Just enough heat to add flavor without overpowering the sandwich. The star of the meal was the chicken itself. The filet was huge, perfectly cooked, and incredibly juicy. Combined with the creamy coleslaw, dill pickles, and BD Sauce, it made for one outstanding sandwich. I also have to mention the hash brown coins. I'd never had them before, and they were crispy, flavorful, and the perfect side. At around $14 for the sandwich, I thought it was money well spent. With Restaurant Week kicking off, my wife and I finally headed down to NKC to check out this longtime local favorite - a bar, bistro and sports memorabilia museum all rolled into one. When you walk in, prepare for sensory overload. The walls and ceilings are packed with hundreds of college and pro football helmets, banners and framed memorabilia. Heck, there's even a Babe Ruth autographed baseball. It's equal parts sports bar and museum. I honestly wished they had an app or QR codes you could scan to learn the backstory behind everything. It feels a little awkward wandering around staring at the walls while nursing a beer, but there's so much to take in. We made a reservation, but it quickly became clear one wasn't necessary that night. A few patrons were at the bar, and a handful of tables were occupied in the side dining room. The vibe was relaxed and unhurried - easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. The menu is broad and familiar, with just about any bar-food craving covered. Our server recommended the deep-fried portobello mushrooms and fried pickles. We were in an onion ring mood, so we went that route. They arrived hot and crispy - solid and satisfying, though not especially memorable. In hindsight, I wish I'd ordered the loaded potato skins, which are an all-time favorite of mine. For entrees, the burger and sandwich lineup is strong, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable. The London Broil and KC Strip both looked excellent and tempting enough to justify a return visit. I opted for something lighter and ordered the Super BLT, which turned out to be a standout. The thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon was the star - perfectly cooked and loaded with flavor. Kayla, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel right at home. Between the food, the memorabilia and the laid-back atmosphere, Chappell's feels like one of those places you wonder how you overlooked for so long - especially if you're a sports fan.

A friend of mine and I went for dinner on a busy Saturday night. The girl who seated us was wonderful and immediately bussed a table so we could sit right away. Our server was great too. She was very attentive, took our orders properly. That was all that went well. My dinner companion ordered chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and I ordered a 323 burger. Her order arrived with regular fries, no problem, the sweet potato fries were brought out promptly. The other issue was her tenders were overcooked. Our waitress brought her a slice of chocolate cake which she wasn't terribly fond of as she is a pastry chef. My burger didn't taste right and I was tired so I got mine to go. Upon arrival at home, I realized why it tasted funny. It had sloppy joe on it which was a completely different burger than what I had ordered. I did telephone to let them know this had happened and they were very nice about it, but I have to say that after this experience, I likely will not be back. I do not fully hold the servers responsible for the failings, but I do hold the line cooks and line prep responsible. They should have checked those orders before they went out to the table. I am actually terribly upset about this as I do love Chappell's (their cajun pasta is my go to), but getting the food wrong twice is a deal breaker for me.
