If you have a Volvo or a Saab there's literally nowhere else you should go for any repairs, oil changes, tune ups or inspections. The guys at Gorecki, from the owner on down, are honest, great at their work and efficient. I have a Volvo XC90 with 140k on her and she runs like a top. Autobahn wanted to charge me some crazy amount for some issues with the sway bars and alignment. Gorecki got it done and for half of what Autobahn was quoting. I have to say I was not happy with the last service performed at Gorecki. They disconnected the airbag on the drivers side seat and never plugged it back in, paid for a new headlight but they never installed it. Asked to have them check a squeaking of the front suspension. They put some grease on it. for this they had the car for 10 days. YES 10 days. Still not right and paid over $600.00. This is sad as I have previously been a loyal customer of theirs but the lack customer service and incomplete work is shocking and unfortunately I will look elsewhere. BEWARE of super shoddy work and over charging. I guess they are just like every other garage now. Too bad. read more

Extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff who determined where multiple fluid leaks were coming from and actually tried to save me money by accurately diagnosing where the fluid was coming from instead of just throwing random, expensive parts at it. ...they even took the time to explaIn the issues and repairs as well as throughly answer all of my questions before and after the repairs. Their prices were also extremely reasonable and in some cases almost half of what I was quoted at other Saab specialty mechanic shops! Balking at the number, I called a number of repair shops in Dallas and Fort Worth before a coworker mentioned Gorecki. I called them, described what repair was needed, and they researched the parts and labor required while still on the line with me and delivered a quote within five minutes -- a quote that was nearly 50 percent less than what the dealership wanted! I explained my circumstances and that it would be great if I could get the vehicle back before the weekend. They were easy to communicate with and let me know exactly when it would be ready, and made sure it was finished by the time I needed it. In fact, the final charge was even $40 less than they quoted me! If you're looking for the frills of a dealership repair shop, then look elsewhere.
