I called to tell the owner and after speaking with him and also sending photos I was told well that's a blister (it most definitely is not). He asked what I wanted him to do about it, typically when a business has done something negative to a customer they will offer X% off their next service or financial reimbursement. The owner was not interested in that. Take this as a warning that although this salon's prices are lower than others you will also be exposing yourself to the possibility of an infection.

This was, hands down, the worst manicure experience I've ever had…read more It was my birthday, and I left crying, with two bleeding cuts and blood visible on FIVE total fingers. It honestly left me questioning if I'll ever get a manicure again. From the very beginning, the manicurist was moving quickly like he was rushed, even though there were more employees than customers. He was so aggressive with the cuticle clippers and file that he cut my finger right away. It was bleeding pretty well, but I didn't say a word. Accidents happen. When he clipped me a third time, though, I yanked my hand back. He asked if it hurt, and I said yes. He STILL did not slow down or change his technique. Moments after that, I felt a sting AGAIN, and I started crying. A manager came running over and tried to help clean up the blood. To his credit, the manager apologized repeatedly and didn't charge me. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've left 90's Nail & Spa bleeding. My fingers still sting a day later, and it's upsetting that the manicurist did not adjust at all, even after I told him it was painful.

The location is convenient and easily accessible. There's plenty of parking and the equipment clean. There's plenty of color selection and options for polish style and pedicure style. The shop is up to date on current trends. You are not required to have an appointment but I often call ahead to check on wait time. I recommend calling ahead, then you are disappointed during busy times. Many customers have favorite nail techs. I typically don't schedule an appointment and have always been happy with my nail techs when I do "walk-in" service, they all talented. The techs are soft spoken, kind, and very courteous. They are talented, always trying to do their very best. The owners, Brandon annd Jamila, are super friendly, they work hard at knowing their customers, learning customer names and remembering personal details. They are delightful to be around. The prices are reasonable and very competitive for the area. Cash is preferred and there's a "no fee" ATM machine at the door. I highly recommend Blue Ash Nails; it is a neighborhood treasure.

So rude that I almost left. They seemed very eager to close early. Hey blue ash nails, if you don't want to be open until 8, don't be! Post earlier closing hours. But don't post that you are open until 8, tell me I can come in at 7 when I call, and then treat me poorly for coming in during open hours. I was out of there by 7:35, well within your posted hours. Again, Wendy was great, it was the way I was treated when I arrived that I really didn't appreciate.
