I have been dealing with this dealership since I bought an Excursion there in 2000. I have disliked this dealership since then..and only deal with them because i have vehicles under warranty. Even that is a pain. Dropped it off at 8:30..i had to call at 4:30 to find out what was wrong with it. I sat on hold for 15 minutes waiting for the service writer to come to the phone. He told me they didn't really know what was wrong with it..except that it needed an injector. No problem it's under warranty. The problem is that their diesel tech is so backed up i need to leave it for 3-5 days. I said how about scheduling it next week. "We can't schedule it because we don't know what other repairs will come in between now and then." What good does it do to offer appointments if they can't work on it? Every time i go here I leave and tell my wife how much i hate this dealership. read more

So I took my Ford Focus in two days ago to have the thermostat look at and my windshield wiper motor replaced and a basic 5k mile oil change. I was told I would be called at the end of the day with a quote of what is wrong...no call... I waited until 11am the next day and I called and Ian in service said no one had even looked at my car yet...finally at 4pm I get a call telling me my car needs a thermostat and coolant flush for a total of $500...what the hell..I drive a cheap 2008 base model Focus...then he says oh we have not even looked at the windshield wiper pump and won't be able to for about 3 days (they have had the car for 2 already)and that will probably be another $200...$700 are you flipping kidding me...I'm not getting a engine replaced for gosh sakes... I told Ian I would just come get the car...10 min. Later I arrive to get my car and pay for just the oil change that was completed...SURPRISE SURPRISE there is a $105 diagnostic fee that I was NEVER told about...so Ian did give me 50% off that because he realized he NEVER told me about it...out the door with ONLY a basic oil change I spent $75 and had NO car for two days... Aamco ended up quoting me $210 for EVERYTHING...thanks for nothing Rancho Ford...you lost my business. read more

I can't help but laugh a little when I saw Gosch Ford in Temecula only has 2 1/2 stars. The last two days I know why. When I showed up with my truck to have the transmission taken care of, I walked into the service department to see all the service people talking and laughing like little school girls, and completely ignoring me. After finally getting someone's attention I was helped (if you call it that) by Ian. Talking to him trying to inform him of codes that I had after being towed into the shop, he seemed to not care and just get the truck in then what I jade to say. For this I just got a bad feeling and saw how unmotivated and angry they are. I later called internet sales to Se about getting into something else, all this lady wanted was for me to come down to test drive and to give me an value for my truck. I proceeded to tell her (I do not have a car to get down there and you have the truck in your lot so why can't you get the appraisal and call me back) pushes and pushes more to where I hang up. Back the the service department, they close at 6pm here it is 5:30 pm and I have not heard anything. Now I dropped the truck off at about 9:45am so all day they had it and couldn't call me to update me. I called at 5:30pm to be told he will have to call me back. 25 till he calls me back, worst customer service all around. I'm never coming back here again, I will spend the extra money els were and be treated well. read more

Brought my explorer in on Saturday after noon and was expecting to be told to make an appointment the following week but kenn was great and said wait a minute and he was able to get me in and out for a new throttle body in just under an hour. Ask for kenn when going in for service and he will always take care of you. read more

I must say how disappointed I am with the service department. I took my truck in to Rancho Ford to pay to have my computer re-flashed. I tried to hook up mini max to my truck (performance chip) and had problems downloading the program. That being said it screwed up my existing computer where as I cannot pass the smog test. Yes my fault! They I needed a smog test done so I took my truck into a smog place. The company that was doing the smog test indicated that the truck computer was not working correctly and that I needed to have the computer re flashed. Now mind you Ford from what I am being told can only re flash the computer. That being said!!!!! I made an appointment I told them I need the truck re flashed, the computer I tried to install was not hooked up nor was it in the truck. They had my truck for 2 days and then called me to let me know they will not touch the truck. I have a 2011 F 450 diesel raised it has 23250 miles on it. I purchased my truck at Heller Ford in Escondido where I will take back to. They have not only services me well but I have purchased my last 6 vehicles from Heller Ford which is now Escondido Ford. The service guy at Rancho Ford treated me like an idiot, who the hell is he, I knew when're computer did go in correctly I was going to have problems. I knew I should have not even tried to go to Rancho Ford, I live 3 blocks from them and should have gone to Heller Ford (Escondido Ford). I have gone to Ranco Ford 4 time prior and I have always had major challenges with the sakes people of the service people. They are a PITA. Pain in the ass. Rancho Ford needs to go out of business, look at their over all scores, look at their reviews. Something is so wrong with the people that work there. Customer satisfaction is not a gold they have on their radar. I gave them one start so I could write this review, otherwise it would have been a big fat ZERO..... read more

We are seniors and looking to buy a new truck. We went in yesterday to get a brochure and the saleslady said they don't have brochures but we can look at them on the lot. We didn't want to walk all over the lot not knowing what to look for. We said no so she said go look them up on the computer, overtime we have given them a chance to purchase from them which as been about 5 times, they only want you money, don't know about their product, want to sell you what they have not what you want. They service department is awful. We have been out here 38 years and they just keep getting worst. Now no brochures, wow somebody is really getting CHEAP. So now they will mail us a brochure if we give them our address. Well we don't want to be on their MARKETING LIST so we aren't going to do that, thanks but no thanks we got a brochure from another dealer. read more

We take our three Fords (Flex, Expedition, and F350) to Rancho Ford for service. Rachelle Long is our service advisor and you can't find someone more pleasant and professional than Rachelle she always calls us promptly with the status of our vehicles and works with us to find ways to keep our costs down. We recently took the Expedition in with an intermittent brake problem and Rachelle arranged for us to take a test drive with their brake expert, Kevin. Of course the problem wouldn't surface with Kevin there, but he never made us feel stupid. He asked if he could keep the car and look at it further. Long story short the brake issue got resolved and we got the vehicle back in great shape. I really trust the folks I deal with at Rancho Ford and highly recommend them. read more

Service was so bad. Where to start!! Made an appointment on Friday which they must of forgot to hit enter on. Debi was the person my husband spoke to. However I called early and caught it because I had a few as other issues which they said they would try to look at. Well The Bottom Line Is Nothing Got done Except To Order A Part . My car sat on their lot two days for an oil change and then another two days before they realized they never ordered a warrantee part like they were supposed to. Multiple visits I had problems. I went to Rancho Ford for my Ford Focus car parts, Im happy with my service advisor Debi. Since I was there thought of stopping by at their finance department to buy extended warranty for my Ford. F150. Stewart Economos, Finance Director is the worst! Since I'm with the same dealership hoping that he can just pull out my truck information on his system, he didn't EVEN lift his finger to dial Debi for my truck details, instead he let me walk all the way to the service department to get my truck info. (the dealership is under renovation), I left my 11 yrs. son in his office which is a big mistake, hearing him coursing over the phone. I was dissappointed the way he treated me. He was so judgemental and rude, scaring me as if I cannot afford the pricing that he laid out, refuse to negotiate with my military discount, told him that Debi just gave me a military discount for buying parts on my Focus for that very same day ( cost me parts and labor for $ 2,922.00 paid check in full, more than the cost of his quote for 4 yrs. 48,00 miles ). Didn't made any effort to explain in details as I have some more questions in mind, details on the warranty that I need to know and advise me to go online. He claimed that he has no time for me and his too busy he has one person in line waiting for him whoever that ghost person is I dont know, we are the only person there with my son. Making me feel guilty with no appointment and just wasting his time. Before leaving I told him that I was with Debi for quiet a while and love her service, the reason why I wanted to buy my truck warranty and dont want to go back to Lake Elsinore with the worst service. I was serious and determine to get this done before my husband leave to Singapore for his work assignment, I got home try to dial their finance department thinking that I can speak to another person and found Chad, told him my dissappointment with Steve and told me if I'm ready he will take care of me and look into the price quoted, left multiple messages, but never return my call. I have been taking my 2014 escape to this dealership for service since it was new. Up until today I haven't had any issues. This morning my wife brought it in because the back up camera stopped working. They told her that the camera and wire harness needed replacing. FOR $1000!!! She declined to have the work done and we were charged $130 for diagnosis! When she got home I decided to check it out for myself. I started to disassemble the lift gate to get to the camera and noticed that a screw was missing from the main handle. I found it just thrown behind the handle itself. There were greasy stains on my cream colored panels and the main panel wasn't even popped back into the retainer clips properly. It was just thrown back together. I guess they weren't happy that I declined getting ripped off! When I got to the camera, (a procedure that literally took me 5 minutes) I noticed nothing wrong with the wire harness that they said was corroded. I am looking at replacement cameras from between $175 and $350! I will be replacing it on my own. They told my wife that the parts were going to be $700! They must have seen a woman and decided she would be a good mark. $1000 for a new camera is ridiculous! This dealer will never get another nickel out of me. They took $130 from my wife for a job that took 5 minutes and didn't even resolve my problem and they didn't put my car back together correctly! This makes me wonder if they even did half the services I paid for in the past! I am beyond angry about this!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for service. This makes me want to get rid of this and never get another Ford! read more

I'm going to take my business elsewhere. My last visit was supposed to be a half day service, to have new tires put on and an alignment, yet it turned into a full day with us picking up our car at closing. My adviser tried to make it better by throwing in a discount for our inconvenience, and we appreciated that. Next, we an appointment for recall work, and again, were told it would be half a day, and we could pick the car up at 1:00. When we took the car in, our advisor told us it would have to be an over night service. I told him I was not prepared to leave my car over night, and told him I would have to reschedule. He said to call him on his direct line on Monday or Tuesday, and he'd make the appointment and arrange for a rental for me. I called on Monday, and left a voice mail for him, and today is Thursday, and I have not heard from him. In the meantime, I received a postcard from them telling me if I didn't come in soon, they would send the parts they ordered for my car back. I called my advisor on his direct line again today and got a message that he'd be out of the office until Monday. I just made an appointment with another Ford Dealership to have the work done. read more

I am from out of town visiting my kids in Temecula when my car started making a noise that was troublesome. Being 7 hours from my Ford dealer in Morgan Hill, I called Gosch Ford to make an appointment. I expected to wait many days but to my surprise they got me in immediately. My service rep Ian Pinney, was very sympathetic to my plight and immediately put me at ease about the pending diagnosis. I brought my Lincoln MKZ Hybrid into Rancho Ford Lincoln for it's 10,000 multi-point inspection on Monday, September 26, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. as per my appointment time. My Service Advisor was George Elskamp. I explained to George that my MKZ Hybrid made a loud squeak, when I pulled out of the garage every morning when I go to work. The squeak is so loud it would make the dogs bark in my neighborhood. I also explained to George that I don't think Lincoln customers should pay over 40K for their car and be embarrassed to drive it. George seem to agree with me at the time but when he called me later that day to pick up the car around 3 p.m. he said the car was all done and I could come and pick it up. When I dropped by Georges Service Advisor station, he gave me a brief look and said pay the cashier through the double doors and they'll bring your vehicle out. I asked George if they found out what was causing my squeaky breaks and George said, it's detailed in my service slip. There was no detailed information on my service slip regarding anyone trying to fix my break issue. When I brought my service slip to George and asked him to show me where my issue was addressed, he scrabbled around his podium, which is seemed he was attached too and pointed to section in the multi-point inspection saying the break pads were at 70%. I said to George you didn't even have them address my number one concern, George said you can bring your vehicle back on another day and we could replace the pads?!?!?! What a unprofessional response to a customers concern, it may not be the pads causing the squeak but George is so clueless he probably doesn't even know that. I wouldn't waste another day at this place. It's obvious Ford wants to have a brand to compete with Lexus, Mercedes Benz, BMW & Infinity but have staff that can only aspire in workmanship and professionalism to repairing Ford Pinto's. Tuesday at 9:30a.m. I received a very nice call from Rancho Ford Lincoln this morning. Which I thought could have been to apologize for the awful experience I had there yesterday, but no. The woman on the other side of the phone just wanted to know if I would like to reschedule my appointment, that I missed yesterday with George at 10:00 a.m.. I explained to person on the phone that I was there at 10:00 a.m. and I did speak with George and I did leave my car to have it repaired. These people are so unorganized it's no wonder they ran around like they don't know who's in charge and what to do next. If you like professionalism and courtesy, don't take your car or buy your car at Ranch Ford Lincoln. read more

Went there to have them replace a license plate light cover replaced under warranty. I was greeted by a nice young lady who obviously had no idea what I wanted to do. She told me someone would be out shortly to assist me. After waiting for 10 minutes while the five service advisors sat at their workstation, I decided to go to the parts department to see if they had the part, buy it and put it on my self to end my misery. They didn't have the part and would have to order it. Back to the service drive where I waited for a few minutes and still no one volunteered to assist me. Finally I went into the kiosk and I was asked if I needed help (duh yes). After I showed the service advisor the broken part (which I removed) he told me a technician would have to look at the truck and it was close to their lunch time so I would have to wait. When I asked if someone could just look at the truck and order the part he said no, everyone was busy. When I asked how long was the wait, he told me at least an hour maybe longer. Totally unreasonable to make me wait there at least one hour or more to fix something they couldn't because they didn't have the parts. This is not my first negative interaction with this service department and I should know better. I will not go back and could not recommend this place to anyone. read more

If only I could give a zero. It was my first time at this dealership. Although it appears to be a large dealership, they are short-staffed re: mechanics. Took days for them to assess my car and then it took over a week until it was finished when should've taken 1-2 days from assessment to completion. Wouldn't help out with a rental. Overcharged. Unsympathetic and unconcerned that they they had my car for so long. Once the repair was completed, the air conditioning wasn't working (worked well before I brought it in), but the service person acted like I was trying to fake that it was working before...lo and behold once they rechecked the connections, they realized their mistake. I wouldn't have minded a mistake if they didn't try to basically accuse me of fraud. Of note, I was also looking for a new car and was going to buy a new Ford, but my experience with them disgusted me so much I decided to look at other brands and ended up buying a car from a dealership down the road. I was a Ford customer for many years, until now. read more

Took our F-150 into the Dealer, thinking they will be able to diagnose and fix the problem of our vehicle not starting. After having to tow from our house to the Dealership and spending nearly $1000 for this repair, gas fumes saturated our garage and the vehicle, not noticed until we got it home. Not to mention nearly catching fire due to the spillage of gas on the engine. Had to use another tow from our insurance, back to the Dealer, only to have Steve the service rep, ask " Did you or anyone tamper with the repair?" Seriously? Why would we spend $1000 (overcharged) for a repair and get it home only to mess with it ourselves? Is this Rancho Fords way of shirking the responsibility of their mechanic? Blame the customer? We took the vehicle to the Dealer knowing they will have every part and the expertise to repair to our satisfaction and we pay dearly for this. This is the first review I've ever given on yelp. I usually roll with the punches, but this was a pricey fix and to be accused (ever so politely) of tampering with the repair to cover for a shoddy mechanic job. Not professional. read more
