I typically have great service with Gosch (formerly Rancho Ford), but the last time I took my truck in for service and t o check my trailer lights receptacle, I had a bad experience. The service was great. They took care of my vacuum pump, hydro-boost, fuel filters, and oil change. However, when it came to my trailer receptacle, they say d I needed an entire wiring harness, or I could spend some money and have the technician try to find a break in the wire. Well, that little diagnosis cost me a few hundred dollars. Now I'm no mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, but I did some "spark-chasing" and found it was only a 30 Amp relay fuse that was burned out. Geez, I spent my hard earned money on a completely inaccurate diagnosis from "certified" technicians. I could've save both time and money by just going on YouTube (as I did) I will still go to Gosch Ford for scheduled maintenance, but will be leary of anything beyond that. I have a 2006 Mustang that had 2 recalls on it for air bag issues. After a very bad experience with Sunrise Ford in Fontana, I decided to call Rancho because it's close to my daughter's home. From the moment I phoned them I was so glad I did. From the receptionist in the service department who quickly and easily found my recall information - to her call back less than a week later to advise that the needed parts were in (after which she scheduled me for a service appointment 2 days later) - to the actual service department where I was helped by Ian (extremely professional and knowledgeable), the experience was honestly the best I can ever recall (and I'm no spring chicken!). You'll find that from the moment you pull up and they direct you where to park your vehicle and get it squared away, you already know it's going to be an efficient, organized experience, and very customer friendly at the same time. As a side note, we've been discussing the new Mustangs and whether we want to buy a new one so I went to the Sales Dept. and met their salesperson, Connie, who showed me the new GT. As it turns out, my husband's not sure he wants to buy a new GT right now (we may be stepping up to a Class A motorhome this year), but if our plans change, I will definitely drive the distance to Temecula to shop. I came across Brendon Salisbury. He took the time to check all parts of my car. Wanted to help me save money. Educated me on the serviced needed and why. I have been bringing my '07 Explorer Sport Trac here for the past 5 years. I have been to service centers throughout Southern California, and I can say that this place is consistently proficient. They diagnose the issue, and provide honest solution recommendations for any issues. My range of service experience with them includes normal items like oil changes and regular interval maintenance, to cracked head gasket replacement. I'm not a car guy, but I grew up with an executive automotive engineer, so I know when a place is doing their job. The service advisor, Rachel Long, is by far the best service advisor that I have ever worked with. She provides honest, unfiltered information and status updates regarding work being performed on my vehicle. Also, the turnaround time for service is as expedient as possible. read more

Super easy to call and make an appointment and I love that they have a person who greets you, checks you in and takes you to your advisor. engine light came on, made a appt. with Gosh Ford they called me later and told me it was egr valve if I ok the work now Mike the service writer said he could order the part now and get the part today or it would have to wait till Monday. He said it would be $450.00 I said how much is the part he said $200 and another $250 to put it in, I said ok. then I looked on line and that part sales between 63 to 111 dollars then I check You Tube and it takes 30 minutes to replace when I went back to Gosh ford to pick up my car, I asked mike how long did the job take and how much they charge an hour he didn't tell he went into a speech of how much training the service department goes through and the in line with other shops, it was double talk.. read more

I knew I should have NEVER brought my truck back here. I only did to have the battery replaced because of warranty. The very next day my check engine light came on and they had me bring it back. I had an appointment. 6 days later my truck is still there. No call back from anyone. Left 8 messages today only to have them tell us they pulled the mechanic off my truck to do someone else's because they are short staffed. They told us it would be ready by noon. It is now almost 5 pm. Why couldn't someone call us and tell us they would have it another day so we could plan for a loaner? Bad communication, bad service and no results. I feel like they are lying and hadn't even started on my truck.I would NEVER reccomend this service dept to anyone. I would rather drive to Riverside or anywhere else. read more

Must say that a man in the service department is unprofessional he was talking bad about a customer to another customer who does that I had a friend come to my house to fix a mirror which the ford dealership employee said should fit it didn't then turns out my car had its mirrors changed and they would not let my friend who discovered they were changed order a part because they only do it by vin the employee then started to talk about me to my friend who was trying to get the part order saying that he remembered me as a customer and that I ORDERED THE WRKNF PART FIRST ! That I order the drivers when I know I said passenger I know what part is broken!!!! Continue to talk rudely about me while my friend was on speaker what customer service !! Would not waste my time nor money again at the dealer !!! On October 5, 2016 I took my 2013 Fusion for service at Gosch Ford in Temecula for service (Oil Change and Checkup). On 6/19/2016 my wife had a problem in that the dash display showed a warning for low tire inflation. When I checked all tires had only 25 PSI readings. Checking my service invoice it indicated that the tires were inflated to 35PSI. I called the Gosch service manager and after 2.5 hours without receiving a reply I called service back and spoke with the manager. He promised to investigate and get back to me. He was to determine how the discrepancy occurred and arrange to have the automobile sensor calibrated. In addition he said he would comp the next oil change (I have gone to Gosch for all my service needs). To date I have not been contacted by the service manager. I will not return to this dealer for service in the future as I have no confidence that the service they charge for is accomplished nor do I believe they are responsive to customer complaints. read more

I will be honest, this dealership is a load of bullshit. They lied about what needed to be fixed, wanting to charge me $500 for a cracked air vent. This wasn't even a problem. I took my car to separate auto body shop, they found out what was the actual issue; a dirty filter and charged my a significantly less rate, a whooping $35. This dealership is full of crap, and don't even expect to get out of there spending less then $105 because they won't even look at your car for less then this. This is the price they charge to look at any issue that you might have with your car. And if you have two problems, well expect to be charged double. I can honestly say that I will never take my car back to this place. All they truly care about is how your money will make its way into their pocket. read more

I took my 2006 F150 Lariat for some service, it needed little TLC from the years of use. Friend of mine suggested that I use Ken, so I did. Ken was my service advisor and he kept me updated and informed on every step of the process. I had a lot of work done to the truck, and I am extremely happy with work they did. I wanted to share my experience at Gosch Ford. There are so many negative reviews that go out in social media. I felt that I should share my amazing experience! It all started when I pulled into what appeared to be an extremely busy service department. When I pulled in I was promptly greeted by a man who was helping move cars up. Turns out it was the Service Manager Grant. He asked me how I was and how he could help me today. I told him I had an appointment, he looked me up and got me connected with my service person, Trevor. From there it went as smooth as possible. Trevor took the time and listened to my concerns and got them all addressed. I even had a concern about a rental car and the service manager again,stepped right in and got things handled for me. Not only was my car done on time and done correctly it even got washed!!! I hate getting my car fixed but Gosch Ford did an excellent job A+. Thanks again to Grant and Trevor for taking care of me and my car. Here is an open letter to Dealer I wrote. 3 Months ago I purchased a new 2102 Focus and found the sales experience what I would call a fairly typical car buying experience and found Billy Smith professional and answered all of my questions at this time. Yesterday 5/26/12 I brought my car in for maintenance pursuant to a letter I received from Ford for the transmission, it's 7500 mile service, and a TPS indication that would not clear. I had checked pressures on the tires the day before and found the passenger side rear tire was very low. When I arrived I found out the appointment was never made for my visit even though your staff called me two days prior and set the time. Debbie the service advisor was courteous and got me in anyway and overall a good experience. We also talked about my 2004 Expedition and needing tires and we discussed different tire brands, pricing etc. She gave me some quotes and explained you had nothing in stock basically and if I wanted them we could schedule in the future. Overall the experience is good so far. I received a call at 3:15 that my car was done but there was a problem, there was a problem, and the same tire I told them was low had a nail in it and was very close to the sidewall and she was recommending the tire be replaced. She also included in the voicemail that your dealership did not have the facilities to repair a tire!! What !! She just quoted me over $1200 of tires for my Expedition and you do not have the facilities to repair them. This cannot be right. Sure enough when I arrived at the dealership this was reiterated to me. And the new car I purchased 3 months ago with 100,000 Premium Maintenance and Premium Care Extended Warranty had no road hazard on the tires. I was informed that you did not have any tires in stock and was giving my car back on a holiday weekend that basically was not drivable until I address the tire issue. This is not what I call "Quality Customer Service". I had a trip on Tuesday for work with my car and here I was a dealership at 4PM that cannot fix the car and is offering no remedy. I decided to suck it up and head immediately over to Discount Tire on Winchester which I have had wonderful customer service experiences and explain my predicament. They were ready to close but took the time and checked if they had a replacement tire which they did have the exact model and size. But they said lets pull it off and check it. I told them it might not be on the passenger rear any longer as it just had the 7,500 mile service done and I was told the tires were rotated. "WRONG" there it was as all of the tires right where they were. So the service record now had its first lie in it. Much to my surprise when showed the tire the nail was not in or near the sidewall like Debbie had told me but only 1/2 -3/4 inch away from the centerline of the tire. I was told the tire was very repairable. Which they did repair in 5 minutes and handed my keys with a no charge bill. I left leaving the establishment thinking that this company understood great customer service! But the bottom line is you Service Department and Dabble flat out lied to me!! Would have taken $150 from me to replace the tire if they had it in stock, she handed me the quote. Bottom line your dealership has completely shaken my confidence that you can handle my needs in the future and unfortunately will have to drive further to get my car(s) serviced. I do not understand why Ford spends millions of dollars for Mike Rowe to peddle your quality service and tires when you run your operation like a corner mechanic doing a hustle. If you want to call me on the matter, I would be happy to talk to you, but at this time you have lost me as a customer read more
