Yet again, Gosch Ford gets me again. I have the pre-purchase oil change plan. I had an established appointment with the service department for a simple oil change. Needless to say, an hour later, I am still sitting here and the truck hasn't been touched. What is the point in purchasing the prepaid service and requiring an appointment when a fly by night oil change facility can do the same function in 15 minutes. Lake Elsinore Ford service department is much better than Gooch. It shouldn't take 2 hours to get an oil change done. read more

Keep Gerardo around!!! Gerardo helped me out with a walk in oil change and when I first got there you can tell he was slammed and was busy but he took the time to help me out thoroughly and able to get me in for an oil change! Called over 6 dealerships this week trying to get in for an oil change and Gerardo and the team at Gosch Ford got it done, coming back here everytime. Update: went back in for oil. Change and scheduled an appointment this time and Cameron my advisor was very unpleasant. Not helpful or nice at all, seemed like he didn't want to be there. Should try smiling more often or ask how someone's day is, but I assumed scheduling an appointment would mean a quicker oil change but I was wrong took even longer. The first time I came without an appointment Nd gerrado has me in n out with in less an hour. This time it took nearly two hours and also had my car waiting for 15 mins before I had to go grab my keys cause no one called. And also he said the car wash machine wasn't on today but every other advisor had let their clients know their car is almost done and is getting washed. Every car around mine was clean except mine. Turned a place I was coming back to forever to a place I'll never go back to again. read more

My car had an oil leak and some other repairs but he worked with me so it was covered by my warranty aligning the labor that needed to be done. This service center has a very nice facility. Unfortunately the service is not equal to the facility. The first time I attempted service here for my Ford Edge I had an appointment which was totally blown off and I was not able to even speak with the service rep I was assigned to. I found another that I asked for help and was told the original rep would have my paperwork, but he could "get me going." I went to the second rep on my next visit and had more success and thought I had found someone who could provide good service. However, that didn't prove to be the case. On my third visit I needed a repair which necessitated my car being there all day. When I arrived to pick my car up, I was told the car was not fixed because they had ordered the wrong part. I can't recommend this service department. read more

After having horrible service from Ford of Escondido, who claimed they tested my car extensively and found nothing wrong with it, we brought my car to Gosch Ford of Temecula. They ran a diagnostic, discovered several trouble codes in the history, determined the issue, replaced the part (covered under warranty), and resolved the issue. WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT Where to begin: I received a letter back in late November 16' from Ford concerning my 14' Fusion Energi having a recall(Modem). I called the first week of December and gave them all my information in order to order the part. The receptionist (Nicole I believe) said she had everything and would get it ordered but would take anywhere from 7-30 days as that part has been taking a while to get she said. I didn't hear from anyone for almost a month so decided to call on 1/6/17 and the receptionist said that the part still had not come in, I asked if she had the date of when the part had been ordered so I could confirm the part indeed had been ordered. She said she had no access to that information, that the parts department handled that. I told her to transfer me over to them, they in turn say it has not been ordered; that they need a serial number off my current part. This was Friday and decided to go in the following Monday (1/9/17) so that they could get the serial number and order the part. I go in and the service rep. ask me for my information and current mileage on my car. Apparently she was the only one that knew it was not a serial number that was needed but just the mileage on the car. I SHOULD HAVE GONE SOMEWHERE ELSE AT THIS POINT. By Friday (1/13/17) I receive a call saying the part was in and could have it installed as soon as Monday (1/16/17) so I made an appointment for an oil change along with the recall repair for Monday 16 Jan at 1040 AM. I dropped off my car and was told it would be done by the end of the day. At 230pm I receive a call saying it will not be done and they can keep it till the next day. I agreed since I did not want to go too late and deal with traffic. At 430pm I get another call saying it's done and can pick it up anytime before 6pm. I asked if I could just pick it up the following day as I had already made other plans for the evening, to which they said yes I was ok. I show up at about 1030am to pick up my car, paid for the service by 1056am and the preceded to wait 30 minutes for them to bring my car around. The service rep kept asking for my service ticket so he could verify the ticket for my car. After 20 minutes he asked if i wanted it washed, I said "thought it was already washed and ready to go, you called me yesterday saying it was ready". I told him just bring me my car, I have other things to do. So 35min after paying for the service I finally get my car, not washed and at that point I didn't even check to see if they put on all the caps to the oil or otherwise. I just was upset and wanted to get out of that place before I cursed someone out. Needless to say I don't use yelp very often but when I spend more than a couple minutes, than that place I am commenting on has left an impression. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT FOR ANY SERVICE. I WILL NOW DRIVE A BIT AND HOPE THE NEXT "FORD" SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS BETTER. read more

Buyer beware, my husband has a 2012 Escape and over the past couple of years, on various oil changes, has complained about the transmission slipping; a known issue for this year and model. They could never "find" a problem. Magically, after the warranty has expired, they tell him he needs a new transmission, $5600! And they have had his car over a week and don't plan to help at all. So watch out for the service dept. they also fixed his crappy door speakers once and then they started rattling again. Finally ripped them out and had Best Buy put some in. They don't treat their loyal Ford customers very well. Finally I think I can get him to buy a Nissan. Bye bye Ford. read more

Horrible experience every time I have had to go here! Never again! First, I was without my car for 47 days just for them to put in a new transmission. Yes I said 47 days! Second visit I had a sensor that had failed. It took 3 days to fix it and when they replaced the sensor they cracked the hose that connects to it. They of course denied any wrong doing while at the same time admitting that it's possible they did it. Fact...my car never leaked a single drop until they repaired the sensor. 3 weeks later the coolant completely drained out of my car causing it to over heat and it is now going to cost me another $350 plus I'll be without a vehicle for an additional 3 days to repair a hose that they cracked! That's a total of 53 days without my car since November (approximately 120 day period). Stay away from Ford and if you ever have to get a repair (if you own a Ford you will), do not take it to Gosch Ford in Temecula!!! read more

Unbelievably poor service!! I know not to expect Audi service advisor quality from a Ford dealership, but at least strive for a higher level of customer service. This unfortunately was not the case with service advisor Nick. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by a nice young woman who checked me in and escorted me to Nick's counter. This was the only good part of my visit. There was a woman customer already at his counter. For the next ten minutes I listened to them talk about his house in Havasu and his desire to return there. Her mother in Palm Springs and on and on and on. Ten plus minutes later it was still going on. Maybe they were on a date. Why was I assigned Nick when there were three other service advisors with no one at their counters? I finally gave up, walked out to the service drive and called another Ford dealership. After hearing my story, they gladly made a same day appointment to service my vehicle. He never knew that a customer had left and probably still does not. I sent the general manager an email about the situation. He was out of town for a week with the service manager and stated that it would be addressed upon his return. We will see. I have had my vehicle serviced there on two previous occasions and both times it was a joke. There are plenty of Ford dealerships out there and very good independent service facilities all doing a better job. I will certainly explore my options. read more

This review is for the service dept. I brought my car in for a new car purchase detail with an appointment. When I got there they said they don't have time. What?!? Why would you schedule an appointment? I rescheduled and the second time I waited for over an hour for a rental while they detailed my car. When they said rental will be here in 15 min, after an hour I went and asked what was taking so long. They said the rental place never received a call. OMG!!!! Really! Poor communication and jacked up prices is all you will find here. This place tried to charge us almost $500 just to look at our car. We were quoted $140 over the phone and they didn't honor it. They said the charge of $140 is per issue but that was NEVER communicated. Not only that they wanted to charge us $700 to fix an issue that wasn't even the main reason why we brought the car in. The part for that particular issue was purchased by my husband at Autozone for $11 and installed in 20 minutes. That was not worth $700 to repair. They are just price gouging and taking advantage of people. Stay far away!!!!!! If you are reading this review during COVID lockdown... IN MY OPINION...I'm sure these people aren't selling cars right now and the service department is probably the only department financially supporting this place so therefore I'm sure they are just robbing poor people of their money. This is the worst service department I have ever experienced! We took our Expedition in because we were experience a problem that we have had repaired once before. We dropped the car off with a promise that they would call us with status before the end of day. "NOT"! Next morning it took 5 calls to get a return call all we ever got was an answering machine. and then we are told that our previously experienced problem was not a problem at all but a normal function of the car. The last time I get my free oil change here. We would rather pay than deal with the horrible service department. Never been a good experience! We were headed out of town for the holidays and scheduled a 7:30am old change thinking we could get out at a decent time and hit the road. My husband waited for over 3 hours for the car. He was hungry and irritated with the whole thing. They asked if he wanted the car washed when he approached them stating the car was ready and a half hour later it was still up on the rack. They did not have the right oil filter even though I made the appointment days prior. Just a bunch of lies. Really disappointed I do not want to use the remaining oil service that came FREE when buying my car. read more

He also took such good care and was very kind to my deployed marine cousin and gave him a big discount because he really appreciate his service to our country. Ken made us feel so cared for and went above and beyond to help my Cousin out. Dan the shuttle driver was so patient and such a joy to get ride from my home in Sun City to Temecula during highway construction traffic. Why does it take well over 2 hours? Being that I'm outside looking at my car in a service bay and no one is working on it explains that!!! Why should I have to wait almost 3 hours for a freaking oil change? Even worse is that I had an appointment and came early. This is after they had to reschedule my appointment from Monday because they put it in for the wrong day. So let's see, for my first service here at 10000 miles it cost me $50 and at least 3 hours with an appointment for what Americas tires or jiffy lube will do with out an appointment in 30 mins for $25... I guess it doesn't pay to be loyal to the dealership you purchased the car from. Oh and the "service advisors" and appointment coordinators are not very efficient either. I went in for an oil change appointment today that i had scheduled for 11am. I was checked in and then was told that i also had a recall issue that would take an extra hour if i wanted it worked on today. I decided to schedule a separate appointment for next week for the recall issue and was told that the oil change would take about an hour. I had my young kids with me and other appointments to make that afternoon. Nearly 2 hours later I ask for an estimate on how much longer it was going to take and they tell me that my car hasn't even been started yet. I told them that I just wanted my car back, at this point I am running late for my other appointments and my toddler is screaming. They tell me that they can go ahead and push it to the front and get me out in half an hour. I drive off nearly 2 1/2 hours later, can't imaging how much longer i would have been there if I had the recall issue looked at as well. I realize that things happen and businesses get backed up, but not one time did anyone come out and tell me that it may take longer or double the time that was estimated. I don't know how much longer i would have waited in their lounge if i wouldn't have asked for a time estimate. It's inconsiderate of their customer's time. I'm there waiting for a service I pay for through a maintenance plan with Ford so the least they can do is step up their customer service at this dealership. read more

My car is there currently for service since last Friday's morning (7 days) and I just got off the phone with the service advisor name Ian,who told me they haven't even started working on it yet.His excuse was,that they haven't gotten the parts in yet.Guess what,i spoke to another service advisor named Mike yesterday and he told me one part was already in stock and they are in process of putting it in. I would've never went to the STEALERSHIP at the first place,if it wasn't for the warranty.The car is under 30k and falls into the warranty period.So I am kind of stuck with this place. I had good experience with Fords before,lasting well into 200k mile range when I got rid of them,but for a car to break and to need a major service before 30k(I am talking a/c compressor replacement and transmission problems) is something that will mostly likely steer me away from buying Ford in the future. NOT HAPPY! I only gave one star because I had to. Just purchased my car last February, used, from a third party. I immediately took it to my mechanic and had some things fixed. One item was the AC. In May I receive a recall for a part on my vehicle and I HAVE to take it to a dealership. I drove it to Rancho Ford with the AC working perfectly.... drove it home with it not cooling anymore.
