UPDATE: Before Kiran posted her comment below, she felt the need to call me at 8pm to harass me about this review and say she'd never do business with me again. So I guess you're not supposed to share honest feedback with this business? I found this business via Yelp, so I felt a truthful review was appropriate. The booking process was easy & there was availability when I needed it. You get an arrival window of 2 hours of when the team could arrive, plus 2 hours of cleaning. Luckily I work from home, but I can't imagine that system works well with people who don't have that flexibility. The team was nice & pleasant. I explained my priorities were the bathrooms & kitchen. I have a shoulder injury, so the bend-over scrubbing/mopping/etc required for those areas are almost impossible for me to do. The areas that the team cleaned were very well done. But at the end of 2 hours they just said we're done, bye. Kitchen floor was entirely untouched. Rugs not vacuumed or moved, no mopping, etc. They never mentioned they didn't get to it, or ran out of time, nothing. I said the kitchen was a priority and it was the last room they cleaned. I called Kiran to bring this to their attention. While she was professional, it definitely felt like she was trying to blame me. "Well you were home, why didn't you say something?" I wasn't standing behind them watching them. I'm not rude. When they finished a room/area, I would check it. They were cleaning in the kitchen up until the moment they walked out the door. She kept saying it was a timed service. Ok, I understand. But then communicate with me, "hey, there's only 15 minutes left in your 2 hours. Would you like us to do job x or y with the time remaining?" Or even ask if I want to pay for more time so I can ensure everything gets done. But it absolutely baffles me that the one thing left unfinished is the job I SPECIFICALLY said I can't physically do with my injury. Kiran did offer for someone to come out tomorrow and finish, but we're going out of town for the holidays tomorrow. The purpose of the cleaning today was to give the house/pet sitter a fresh place. So regrettably there wasn't really a satisfying way to resolve the issue. So after dropping $180 to clean a less than 1000sqft apartment, here I am mopping my kitchen floor on vicodin. read more

We needed help with a move out cleaning and decided to try Got it Maid. We'd lived in the condo for six years and grime builds up over time, especially in the kitchen. I was communicated with beforehand and alerted when the team was on their way; when they arrived we walked through the house together and I talked them through my priorities, but also made sure to mention that if it took longer than the originally booked time, that was okay. Both ladies were professional, friendly, thorough, and total life savers; they cleaned places I wouldn't have thought to check and made the stove and oven look practically brand new. We did a final walkthrough and I discovered one drawer that had been missed but they took care of it right away before leaving. It was a great experience. I really did my homework in reading all the reviews and checking out other companies before deciding to book Got It Maid. I had seen their cars driving around town, and they came recommended by neighbors in my area on the Nextdoor App website. I am very pleased with the results and will book them again. I have a special needs child who has a compromised immune system. That with my allergies, and my having survived cancer... having a clean house is a priority for me. I had a regular housekeeper up until 4 years ago. We were going through financial troubles and had to cut back. While he and his crew were amazing, and honestly a little cheaper, they had a tendency to chip or break things, and the rate kept increasing and then I started missing jewelry. When I deciding to get a service again, I didn't want to call him and wanted to look for a company that was licensed, etc. This is what attracted me to Got it Maid. The majority of the reviews were appealing, and the price was no haggle - one price per hour. I've tried to keep up with the cleaning - but lately I just haven't had the energy. We are much busier with the kids getting older, and I just started to dread it. The two woman crew that arrived (I'm horrible with names - I only remember Maria) were wonderful. The house was in very bad shape, and very dusty from the recent Santa Ana winds. My priorities - cob webs, bathrooms, floors, kitchen! While I asked for and was quoted 3 hours, it took 3 1/2 hours to get everything clean. They also asked for my approval before going over 3 hours. It was fine with me because they did it all and more. I have completely abandoned my 16 year old son's room. It's a pig sty. I told them to simply vacuum that room and leave it alone - but they did an amazing job and more! I had a shower door that hadn't seen a squeegy in 3 years and they got rid of the soap scum! The only room that was somewhat neglected by the ladies was the last room they worked in, which was my master bathroom. All the big things were clean (toilet, sink, mirror) but I still had some cobwebs (I have really tall ceilings) and some dust on the light fixtures in that one room. Looking at what they accomplished, I'm willing to look past what they missed in the last room and realize it takes more than one cleaning to keep a home clean. In all, I am very pleased! I hired Got It Maid for a house cleaning (as we haven't done ours in quite awhile, so it needed some work). The woman I booked it with said a minimum of 2 hours is required, but never said anything about them ONLY staying 2 hours. The cleaners who came were very nice and did a decent job, but toward the end of the 2 hours, they asked for me to look around and see if there was anything else that I wanted touched up as they only had 8 minutes left. I saw there were a few things that I had asked for that were forgotten and also was hoping for a few areas to be more thoroughly done. I asked if they could stay longer and said that I was willing to pay for another full hour if need be. She said she could stay, did a few things, and then 5 minutes later, they said goodbye and left in a hurry. As I never committed to only 2 hours, I was hoping they would stay until the job was done, but after they left, I felt like I didn't get the thorough cleaning I was really hoping for. Maybe I should have clarified all of these things before I made the appointment, but still I think I would rather hire someone who will finish a job rather than run out in a hurry because the time is up. After my annual holiday party I needed a serious team to help me clean up my home. I searched online for a cleaning service that would be able to spend at least 3-4 hours (the party went well!) The communication from the beginning was excellent. I was able to schedule Got It Maid last minute. The booking process was easy and they came on time. My only complaint was the quality of the floors when they were done. I asked the ladies to go over the floors one more time and they insisted that they were clean. I have mixed feelings. I was happy to have them come to my home to do what I thought would be a "deep cleaning" to help me get a good starting point where I can keep it up. The workers seemed very nice (but didn't really talk too much with me). The girl seemed the harder worker. She did an EXCELLENT job on making my stove and kitchen look wonderful. Overall, they did a good job on my home and I'm pleased with the work, but I did have to mention one room wasn't dusted (found out later some other areas were missed) but the young man did go dust the dresser. I was hoping they would dust the crown moulding (easy to do with a long handled mop) but it was missed. I know the linoleum in my bathrooms is old, and to clean them you need to scrub them, but I was hoping that would be done. I believe it was more of a "mopping". They did do a really good job on the shower and that was something I definitely needed help with. If you're looking for a "good job"....I think you would be happy. But if you want an "excellent" job....you may want to look around a bit. read more

Full disclosure- this is a real review written by a real customer. My tiny apartment was drowning in stuff. The pantry was crammed full of stuff with no rhyme or reason. Stuff it in, on top of something else. The bathroom cupboard was the same. Things vanished into these black holes. My kitchen counter had collected everything from jars of peanut butter to spare change. The zen in the house was non existent. I was ready to move, leave everything behind and start over in a clean place. Moving seemed a little drastic. Maybe. Given the busy Thanksgiving weekend, I was certain that wouldn't be able to get someone in right away to clean our place after our guests had left, but I called on Saturday morning and was able to secure a team for the very next day! Okay. Serendipity is not a word I typically use to describe an experience with a household cleaning service, but Got it Maid obviously has changed that as of now. Our family life is super, super busy and it is reflected in how our home has looked without a housekeeper having helped bi-weekly for over three months. Yesterday, my husband and I were caught in the hamster wheel of weekly surface cleaning and I it was driving me nuts. I am not one that likes to admit it, but I SUCK AT CLEANING. So, to solve the problem and alleviate the guilt, I went to Yelp and saw the Got it Maid reviews and was intrigued. When they had one open slot for today, I booked immediately. The team that was sent to my house was PHENOMENAL and that is saying it lightly. I tried to "tidy up" before they came, as to not totally embarrass myself and they managed to discover more dirt in my house than the planter out front. I walked down the stairs one time and the cushions were on the floor while the interior of the couch was being vacuumed. I was flabbergasted! I was afraid myself to do that! Also, before she finished the top floor, Francisca asked me something like, "does everything look good. Is there anything you want done?" Words I didn't think existed anymore. I watched as they moved throughout the house seeking each room as if it were its own project. My boys bathroom hardly ever gets used (they use downstairs), so they didn't have to spend too much time in there, meanwhile the kitchen was a nightmare that requires a lot more work. Got it Maid seems to have a totally different approach. I don't feel like our house is in some assembly line waiting to get cleaned and it's very impersonal. Got it Maid treats each area like it's own project to tackle. I felt like our home was special instead of just a place were someone was just going through the motions and moving through the house with a glazed over look! After seeing the type of work they produce, I refuse to ever let my house return to its former state, so I am going to hire them bi-weekly. I think that speaks volumes in itself. As much as I enjoy cleaning and learning new household hacks, I don't think I can clean as efficiently and nicely as the ladies that our house had hired! My housemates and I, all college students, wanted to hire someone to clean our kitchen and three bathrooms. I'm not sure what the names of the people that came are, but they were very friendly. We hired them for two hours. At first, they were uncertain if they could clean all the bathrooms and kitchens in 2 hours. However, they did it! Our bathrooms were spotless and the cleanest I've seen them since I moved in. I was surprised how in depth they cleaned our kitchen. They even wiped down the inside of our fridge. They charged us $65 per hour and two people came to clean. After they left, someone called and asked how the service was! UPDATE!!!!!! Brittany called me within 20 minutes after posting this review. I originally gave Got it Maid 4 stars but now it has to be all 5! Customer service is vital. I always say "don't talk about it, be about it" and Got it Maid is ABOUT IT. They are a must use! The Yelp reviews don't lie! I have to say I am satisfied. The ladies showed up on time, my window was 11-1pm and they arrived around 11:30ish. They were polite, dressed appropriately (I've had issues in the past lol) and personable. They did an amazing job on my bathrooms. My young sons destroyed both bathrooms to the point were I was ashamed. They also killed it in the kitchen! (See photos) My three small complaints: #1- they didn't dust very well. (See photos) she used a spray and towel/rag which i"can be good except it left streaks and some debris behind. Also they missed some pictures frames and other wall ornaments all together. NOT a deal breaker because no one will clean your own house like you would so I didn't expect the world. Secondly I'm tall so dust in high places is a pet peeve of mine and both ladies weren't giants so they probably just didn't see it. It took me 5 minutes to run behind them and finish the job. #2-they weren't the quickest team I've had but I'm willing to sacrifice speed for thoroughness. I did not have them vacuum so they could concentrate on my bathrooms and kitchen. Although I didn't feel like they were milking the clock. I just wish they would've had more time to dust. #3- probably my smallest complaint, it was kind of a pain getting a hold of someone when I first called. I called and left a message. They called me back within 30 minutes but I just missed the call. I called back within 10 minutes and left a message. I waited and few hours with no return call (which is fine they say give them 24 hours to respond). After calling two more times I finally got someone (I think her name was Brittany). She was super cool and set it up quickly. The only thing was I used a CC to book the appointment but she didn't tell me (or there might have been a slight chance I missed it, doubtfully) but she didn't tell me when the ladies arrive they only accept cash or check. Thankfully I had a check handy and got it handled. Overall I'm pleased and would use them in the future. Next time I need to do a better walk through and I don't think I'll have any issues. Do NOT click their 'book now' link via yelp. Whoever set up their yelp made that forward to an incorrect website (gotitmaid.com instead of gotitmaid.info). It asked for my name/number/email, and I entered it thinking it would give me a quote / call back. It then took my information asking if I wanted to purchase the domain name of gotitmaid.com. I'm incredibly disappointed that they would set up their booking links incorrectly. I called to let them know how upset this made me and I was simply told that they'd look into it. That's great, since now I'm going to be getting spam calls and emails for a domain website that has my email/number. Used the Yelp feature for a Quote, but got the copy paste reply of the rates. Quote should be something specific to estimate total actual cost. Since I don't know how long it would take them I could not estimate cost. I requested for someone to come by and give a real quote but was denied because they charge by the hour. Small cleaning services still thrive because large ones like this lose the high-touch and personal method of smaller services. Weak attempt to discredit my review. Im blown away by the customer service from this company. Within a few minutes of my previous review Kiran contacted me and offered to have some cleaners come out to fix what the other group of cleaners missed. They showed up today and was super apologetic and cleaned our house the best it's ever been cleaned. They were so sweet and caring and wouldn't even let us tip them (we insisted and I pretty much forced her to take the tip). To top it off I had Kiran stop off at our house and dropped off a pie. Very hard workers made my mom's house sparkle! Used Got It for the first time to do a deep cleaning on my mom's house. As she got older, housework got harder, and the house, while in great shape, had dust in some places older than some fifth graders. Kendall and Lisa showed up and dug in. Eventually, they would spend 8 hours going over the house (2BD, 3BA), from ceiling fans to mopboards. The usual dusting and vacuuming, but also scrubbing bathrooms and hallway tiles, emptying and cleaning all the kitchen cupboards (even the scary under-the-sink area where God knows what lurked :) A great service for a great price. Stay away from this service. Horrrible customer service. I had a window between 9-11am and I had my alarm set for 9:15. I live in Irvine and the front doors to my building are open until 6. I got one missed call at 8:22. 2 missed calls at 8:59. There are maps posted everywhere and even a child can figure it out. No. They decided to leave and charge me a 35$ cancellation. I call them back to figure out what's going on around 9:30 and I get the nothing but rudeness and sass over the phone. It's too early for that shit. Over all, the business owner is very rude. She weren't willing to listen to what I was trying to say. The cleaners didn't do the job perfectly. I found out dusts in the kitchen cabinets and bathroom drawers. The house was already clean and I wanted to make sure everything was deep cleaned before we move in and I was so disappointed when I found out dusts in places. When I was talking to the owner(kiran), she was like "why did you even want the cleanning service if the house was already cleaned?" She raised up her voice and she didn't want to listen to me. She was like "listen to me". If you have a business and dealing with customers, you should listen to what the customer has to say first. You are not the boss of me.
