I would highly recommend Got Light Electric for all electrical needs. I has a few electrical projects. I found Got Electric on YELP. Hector came to my house promptly and gave a very reasonable price for installing a new 200A breaker box, some outside lighting fixtures, new indoor and outdoor outlets/switches and a security system. All projects were completed to my satisfaction. The crew consulted with me at every step to confirm where I wanted each item located. Hector gets extra credit for customer service. First, during the project, we had some project creep (additional requests). Hector gave very reasonable quotes for the additional work. Second, some connectors were covered with tape to protect the connectors during the wiring installation. When I took the tape off, there was gunk all over my CAT5 connectors. I called Hector and the next morning he arrived with some solvents to correct the problem. When the solvent wasn't working effectively, he offered to change all of the connectors. That's super service. I'll call Hector at Got Light for now on whenever I need an electrician. read more

We had a major emergency situation one morning at work due to a short the rain caused the night before and Hector was THE ONLY electrician in the area who came as soon as we called. Woke up on a Saturday morning to half our home being out of power. Switch box was old and wouldn't reset so I called several electricians from Yelp only to get voicemails and even a place that said "We're booked until mid 2016"! Called Got Light and Hector showed up quick. When he arrived, he walked straight to our switch box, did some quick tests, and immediately advised me of the problem answering all of my questions with a smile. Within minutes he swapped out 2 switches and even upgraded our rusty, hodge-podge bolts and missing bolts holding the switch box together. Now, we have 2 shiny new switches with premium bolts that sparkle and weeks later still no power issues! This is a much overdue review. Hector and his crew installed some recessed lights in two of our bedrooms a couple years back. They were very responsive, explained our options and the pros/cons of each, and patiently addressed our concerns about one room that has a slanted ceiling. Their estimate was in the same ballpark as another estimate, but we chose Hector because he was very personable and had a pleasant yet confident manner. They were able to install four lights in each room without making any additional holes in the wall! Yay - no need to patch any walls! We were so happy with the lights in the two bedrooms that a year later we had them come out to do two more bedrooms! And again, we had the same great experience - and no extra holes! After installation, when we found that the color/brightness of the light wasn't quite what we were expecting, Hector and his crew swapped them out to another set of lights, no problem. And when one of those lights seemed to flicker almost imperceptibly, one of his crew came back yet again to fix it and eventually swap it out. Great customer service! Thank you, Got Light! read more

5 Stars Oscar fixed my three-way stair light power was going into the kitchen from the hall switch. He brought down my bathroom light so I can return it and order another and return that one. He capped off my chandelier and my bathroom for safety reasons until I get new fixtures. He opened up my three switches and fixed it and repaired it because the previous person who's supposedly was a expert electrician cross wires all kinds of way And was in my home for over 10 hours. Oscar was in and out in two hours where as the other electrician was here from 1030 am to 11pm doing harm pretending to know what he was doing. GOT LIGHT ELECTRIC IS amazing I'm looking forward to them being my permanent electricians. GOT LIGHT electric y'all got going it on. There's not enough stars for this company. I needed two chandeliers hung and I spoke with Jennifer about what I needed done and it was if I was talking to a friend, she was very polite and helpful. Jesse and Edgar arrived for the job and they were very professional and went beyond the scope of the project to fix my light switch which was not working properly for one of the chandeliers. Although the original plan for the upgrades was not practical to be done due to the way the house is built and Oscar explained it well, the alternate plan worked very well. I needed an outlet for a wall mounted TV. Seemed simple at first, but some unusual wall studs and blocking prevented a straight shot up the wall from an existing outlet. Not a problem for Oscar though. I could tell this was not his first rodeo. A couple of angles drill holes, single access drywall hole, fish tape and problem solved. Oscar was very professional and was able to install the new outlet with minimal drywall holes requiring follow up patching and painting. Great work. Thank You. read more

Phoned and spoke with Hector on Monday and made an appointment for Friday (today). He told me he would arrive between 10-11am. By 11:10, no one had showed, nor phoned. I called their office it went into voicemail. Left a message. No show, no call back. Really hurt me as escrow is closing Tuesday and I needed this fixed. Lost a whole week because of them. Can't say enough about GotLight Electric. They are really outstanding. Although booked up many weeks in advance, they were willing to come to our home on a Saturday, and finish work on a Sunday. A while back ago I was looking for an electrician to install some lighting in my kitchen because I only had light over the sink and the stove. I live in a mobile home and my ceilings are low so I have to be careful what lighting I have installed. A friend told me about this company and I gave them a call. When I called I talked to a guy named Hector, who was very nice and helpful. He agreed to come and check it out to see what he could do. I called later in the day so he wasnt available but I did make an appointment with him for the next morning. He showed up on time the next morning which to me was excellent because a lot of times when you have an appointment with a technician they are normmaly never on time. He took a look at the area he had to work with and started coming up with ideas. He suggested to me that a chandelier type lighting would look good over the table where I needed the lighting the most and I agreed. He also installed a Light fixture over my light above the sink as well because all I had up there was a light bulb. Needless to say I was very happy with his work.
