This is a family-owned business, and May was our main point of contact throughout the project. At first, her communication style may come across as direct or a bit blunt, especially since English isn't either of our first languages. However, once you get to know her, you'll quickly realize she's incredibly kind, knowledgeable, generous, and genuinely wants what's best for her customers. She has a very caring heart. Her husband also came by to help lead parts of the project, and having both of them in our home was genuinely reassuring. They made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the renovation. The crew was extremely considerate of our home. They carefully covered all of our furniture, protected the floors with coverings and towels, and kept everything as clean as possible during construction. On top of that, they were impressively efficient and highly skilled. They completed our entire kitchen renovation in less than a week. Communication was another highlight. They were always quick to respond, whether by email or text message, and kept us informed throughout the process. Overall, we're extremely happy with the entire experience. The renovation was smooth from start to finish. We definitely plan to contact them again when we're ready to renovate our bathroom. Usually, other companies charge a fee for every single hole they drill in the sink and charge for each cabinet handle individually, but they did all of it with no extra labor costs. We also had our baseboards done here, and we are so happy with the results. If we had known they did vinyl flooring, we would have done that with M&M too. I highly recommend them. The installers are all highly experienced masters.

Unfortunately, after spending thousands of dollars on repairs over the past five years, it continued to break down and was no longer reliable. Andres listened patiently to my concerns and then asked what type of refrigerator I was looking for. I told him I wanted something similar to the Thermador but with much greater longevity. He recommended Sub-Zero, explaining that while it cost a little more than Thermador, Sub-Zero refrigerators have a long-standing reputation for lasting over 20 years. I mentioned that I had read all Sub-Zero 48" models are 84" high, which is 1/2" taller than my existing Thermador, and I was concerned they would not fit in my cabinet space. Andres confidently told me they would fit, but to make absolutely certain, he offered to send Pacific Sales' certified Sub-Zero installers to my home to take measurements free of charge and with no obligation to purchase. Better communication and customer service would have gone a long way. The purchasing process itself was smooth, but the lack of follow-up after I reached out left me disappointed. If you're ordering appliances for a remodel, be absolutely certain about the measurements before purchasing, because you may not have any options if something doesn't fit.

It's very hot out and suddenly the fridge door is not sealing. Extended warranty is closed until Monday and the store simply gave me a phone number for kitchen aide (who simply has a voicemail that they are closed until Monday). Now, we are going to lose a few hundred dollars in food that is going to spoil and have leaking water all around our very expensive fridge. My recommendation would be for Universal to send a repair person (to show they back their products and their warranties) and then bill the warranty company on behalf of the customer. That would be 5 star worthy service (I remember Fedco doing this for my mom way back when ... those were the days!)

I later found out that the emails were going to employees that were no longer there. The staff is friendly, and if you drop by the store, the owner will personally greet you and make sure you are happy.

He suggested it could be a bad bulb connection (take it out and clean the contacts) or an issue with the wall switch. Sure enough, it turned out to be our dimmer switch -- it just couldn't hold the charge properly and was causing the constant flickering. What really stands out is that Ian could have easily scheduled a service call and charged me a couple hundred bucks to come out. Instead, he gave me the exact fix for free and saved me the hassle and expense. In a world where so many companies push for paid visits, this level of honesty and helpfulness is rare and genuinely appreciated. While it cost me nothing, it cost him his time.I As a result, I promised Ian I'd write a glowing review, and here it is. The before and after photos speak for themselves, but I'll just add that Jeff was personable, communicative, and easy to work with. He knows his carpets and knows how to clean them thoroughly. We have a large dog who tracks in dirt and dander and is known to slobber on toys and treats (and also occasionally vomit up said treats). I didn't even really notice the pet odor until Jeff took care of it and it wasn't there anymore! He did a deep clean and also got out all of the stains (despite my prior attempts at removing them). It didn't take long at all. He took care to dry the carpet as much as possible, and gave good advice on future stain removal. Overall, I can't recommend him enough for your carpet cleaning needs in the Southern California area.

I then arranged to email them specs, photo, and detailed info. No response after sending. I re-sent the email the following day, and two weeks later- still no response! I was finally ready to lay down the money on my kitchen remodel, but after this experience, I am hesitant. Really frustrated after having this happen on my first time. NOT recommended for homeowners.
