If you visit in person, the service is friendly. However, ordering through DoorDash is a completely different experience. The staff often seem less attentive to DoorDash customers, and the app doesn't provide an option to include detailed instructions--only the basic order information. Because of that, the employees don't even have the full details of what the customer ordered, which makes it nearly impossible for them to prepare the order correctly. I've learned that you need to call the store directly after placing your order to clarify any details, but reaching someone by phone is a task in itself. Even providing your Dasher with the correct information to show the staff usually doesn't help unless the employee chooses to accommodate the request. I thought ordering through DoorDash was supposed to make life easier, not harder. Unfortunately, this issue has happened too many times. Hudson, Gourmet Donuts is the ONLY place I will buy donuts and great iced or hot coffee and smoothies. They have the biggest donuts than anywhere else. The girls that work there are awesome. Unfortunately the coffee was extremely watered down, the smoothie was pure sugar, and the girl taking my order decided to roll her eyes at me when I brought up the fact it had been taking over 20 minutes for the two drinks I ordered. I just went to their West Boylston, MA location around 4:30pm and ONLY because it is the same location that a GREAT Coffee Shop, Donut Chateau occupied many years ago. What a huge mistake. Coffee was lukewarm at best and less than average in taste. My plain donut, made "fresh that morning" was dry and very unremarkable. It was supposed to be a "cake type" donut, not so. My medium tepid coffee and lousy donut cost me nearly $5.00!!! Highway robbery. I am a devoted Cumberland Farms customer; I get a LARGE, very good cup of coffee for $1.39. I have no use for Dunkin Donuts, Gourmet Donuts, and especially (puke) Starbucks!! read more

I was introduced to these lovely, local coffee shops through my coworkers. Their coffee flavor selection seems limitless and are concocted to order once you pick your elixir. Their doughnuts, bagels and pastries are made freshly each day and they usually run out. Right now I am obsessed with the Bismarck, it reminds me of the pastries I had while in Germany. YUM! The staff is always friendly and attentive and the shop is spotless. My only dismay is that they tend to not have certain frozen drinks on the menu for long periods of time. Stopped here on the way back from Great Wolf lodge. Don't let the shabby outside fool you. Great donuts lie with in. Inside was clean and modern. We had an apricot and a boston cream donut. Lots of traditional flavors, only a couple modern flavors, the apricot being one of them. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. It was a filled donut with the filling being the consistency of a lemon filled but with the tang of an apricot and a few chunks of apricot mixed in and a light glaze on the outside. It was delish! Don't understand the stellar reviews. Breakfast sandwiches LOOK better than McDonalds but in essence they are NOT. Staff seems bothered by your presence in the drive through, and with a HUGE list of flavors you have to know exactly what you what RIGHT AWAY even if there is no line. I suggest a medium iced coffee - ask for 1/2 hot coco and whatever complimentary flavor that goes with it (suggest - hazelnut, coconut, caramel, snickers) add your cream but sugar will likely not be needed as much. If you must eat here, skip the doughnuts they really aren't anything to write home about. The Half moons, Coffee Rolls and apple fritters are the only things here you need to concern yourself with. read more

Delicious sweet sugary goodness, super low prices, cute girls with nice smiles. 5 stars This gourmet donuts is in the back of The Turnout, a variety store complete with chips, soda, greeting cards, lotto tickets, and other conveniences. I've actually only been inside once; every other time I've gone through the drive-thru. The employees here are 9 times out of 10 friendly, helpful, open to conversation, pretty cute(!), and they make delicious iced beverages. I've tried a couple different iced coffees and they've all been pretty good. The menu has a bunch of flavors of iced coffee, and a handful of hot varieties too. My favorites are Hershey almond and cookies & cream. I'm interested in trying some of the other varieties but they sound more like desserts so I'm a little apprehensive: banana cream pie, blueberry, pumpkin spice, snickerdoodle, and strawberry banana to name a few. If you want your coffee to taste like coffee, don't go here. If you have a sweet tooth disguised as a caffeine habit, this is your spot. Their coffee is a sugary delicious dessert in a giant styrofoam cup. For maximum sugar intake, order your coffee like this: Cookies & cream, extra sugar, melt the sugar with hot chocolate (instead of hot coffee), and add cookie pieces. A TON of cookie pieces. Now you're drinking a delicious, chocolate milk flavored sugar high with Oreo pieces. If you order the extra large (appropriately called "OMG size") you're guaranteed 44oz of delightful stomach ache a few hours down the road. The large doesn't fit in most car's cup holders so you're best off with a medium or extra large. Three extra large coffees as listed above cost $9 and some change, cheaper than any other coffee place I've been to. The classic Cinnamon bun at this Doughnut establishment is outright awesome! It's huge and $3.00 or so. The coffee menu is expansive, to say the least. Regular old coffee and cream is quite perfect. The iced coffee is amazing and it comes in a 44oz size (Extra Large) that is suitable for sharing, and fits in a cup holder! The Large (32 oz) does not fit in a cup holder. I have never had a bad cup of coffee there. When forced to grab something from DnD, I am reminded just how much Gourmet is awesome! The line is slow because you order and pick up at the same window. But you can usually run inside and the friendly coffee slinger is always happy to help. The other Location, next to Il forno, is also fantastic. I highly suggest both! read more

Another donut shop with DnD envy. While the competitor Dippin Donuts stole the old Dunkie's logo Gourmet's logo theft is a little more of an updated version. This is where the comparison to Dunkie's ends. This particular location is located in the back of a local institution called The Turnout. It used to be a market with a nice breakfast bar in the back. When it was sold the donut shop moved in. That was kind of a bummer for us backwoods-hills dwellers. Never the less this is where I get my iced coffee. I like the iced here way more than Dunk's and Dippin'. I will however drive .1mi away from here to continue my daily am gut bomb purchase at (the other) Dippin'. Way better donuts. This place is not for those who appreciate the flavor of coffee on its own without adding flavored syrups in order to drink it. The servers were flummoxed by our request for coffee with half and half. Did we want some kind of flavored syrup shot? What is half and half? Did we want half coffee and half cream? "No maam, just a little cream with the coffee please..." She neither listened nor understood. The coffee on its own is the light variety that you'll find in diners, convenience stores, DD, and so on. Aside from the problematic coffee, the doughnuts are standard fried dough-based pastries rather than the cakey variety. Similar in quality to DD but less sweet. I highly suggest taking a copy of their menu so you can look at everything they have so you know what to try on your next visit . Oh and make sure you checkout their fruit smoothies! This is my favorite location because the people at the drive through window I have found to be more friendly and open to giving situations than the other locations . This location is the worse to go to. If you need a QUICK coffee into work you're better off going to a dunkins. I don't know if it's because I usually go here on the weekends or in the late afternoon but today I went to this gourmet donut at about 11 AM and they were two older Spanish ladies working there and don't get me wrong I didn't say Spanish ladies because I'm being racist or anything I said Spanish because I needed to differentiate them from the normal crowd and they are just the rudest employees ever The first one asked me what do you want I told her my coffee order and then I have to wait in line for the two people ahead of me to cash out and then they rang me up for the coffee and I said well I wanted a sandwich too and the lady goes well why didn't you tell me that and I said to her why didn't you ask that's where the problem started she gave me nothing but attitude I don't know if these two older females working there part of their normal morning crowd or if they are new employees because I've never seen them before and I frequent this place but either way I will not be coming read more

Very good iced coffee that is strong and delicious! The flavors are all really really good and they have so many options! The only reason why I did not give this location 5 stars is because the people that work there could be more attentive to the customers and less talkative towards one another. This place has the BEST flavored coffee in the area ! Its not that sugar filled syrup junk the flavors are brewed in the coffee .. that's done the Right way!
