If you think mentioning that you found a 4th piece of beef in my photo, and I lied or made a mistake vendicates your business, that is sad. It is still bad service. The egg rolls were burnt. You dont have to worry about a return visit from me. I ordered the beef fried rice and received 3 tiny pieces of beef in a lot of bland fried rice. I ordered veggie egg rolls and chicken egg rolls and they stuffed them in the same bags. I couldn't tell which was which without cutting into someone's food.

For sure it actually is one of the best Asian restaurants around here. It's located in the plaza with the post office. They're closed Tuesdays.

I had to repeat what I had in front of me as food twice and then was cut off and told it's An uber issue and I have to deal with them! I WAS going to ask for them to make the items missing and I would have picked it up - instead after that statement I was hung up on. We will no longer be ordering from China dragon. Horrible customer service is not ok.

Everything is fresh and hot. Their wonton and hot and sour soups are better than most of the other nearby take out places. I like that they follow your special instructions when placing an online order..some places do not. I've noticed that they tend to be on the lightly seasoned side, so I always request fried rice extra spicy and dark. This means they will add a little more soy sauce and very mild spice. Also, they do make smoothies guys. An important note, when you order, you pay at pickup, not online. All I want, some consistency in life. They are consistent. That is why carry out from Lily Garden.

My best friend had been raving about Gourmet House for so long, I finally went with her to see what the hype was about. First off, when I walked in, I noticed the blue water glasses, clean tablecloths and nice decor. It doesn't look like the average strip mall Chinese restaurant. Well, then the food came. Wow. I've never had Chinese food this fresh and delicious. There is something about their sweet and sour sauce that is just spot-on. My friend and I ordered a few different items so I could try a variety of dishes. Everything was amazing. They aren't trying to be a high-end, stuffy restaurant, which I like, but they also run a business with some class. It's casual, but impressive. I will certainly be back. read more

LOVE this place. If you like shrimp, this is the place to go. They use big shrimp in all their dishes. I'm a regular, so I always get a big HELLO and a smile from everyone there! It's in the small details when they overstuffed our seafood fried rice container ($11), accommodated that I wanted it without soy sauce (I've been on a fried rice kick sans soy sauce lately - it's less sodium and I feel like I could taste ingredients better). I really enjoyed the seafood fried rice. It had calamari, imitation crab meat, shrimp, and onions. It was a perfect blend without too much salt or oil, and to top it of-- the rice was soft. I really dislike it when Asian restaurants make hard rice, or let the rice it too long because you can always tell when the rice is getting stale. My hubby was craving Garlic chicken ( small size for $8). We were quite hungry so we had already began eating before I realized I didn't take pictures of the rest of the food. By the time I took a photo the garlic chicken has already been half eaten. I liked that it had a little zing to it with chili peppers flakes, and has a little sweetness to it which goes perfectly on top of white rice. My favorite part of this dish is that the chicken was moist and soft. I can't enjoy a dish when the chicken is overcooked as that makes the chicken really dry. They had the perfect big, fat eggrolls - two for $5.25. The homemade apricot sauce was on point -- 10 out of 10. Not too many place have great homemade eggroll sauce offered with eggrolls. And we're not talking about the sweet-and-sour sauce packets. Those are not the same thing! For us Chinese and Asians it's all about the sauce and my husband is super picky about it. That's how you tell it's legit eggrolls. He approves of this sauce. We only wish that they gave us two servings of it versus one because I quickly ate 2/3 of the small sauce container for my eggroll and he wasn't too happy. Lastly, we had the hot and sour soup (large size $6). The ingredient were fine, but I have to say it was too salty and missed a mark on the sour. Finding the right balance makes the sauce for me. I judge a lot of places by their soups. This one was close but I have to take off a star for that. Overall, this was a satisfying meal and it didn't break the bank. We will be back to try more dishes. I saw that on their menu, they have seafood boil, and I'll be interested in checking that out in the future. I also need to remember to take more pictures of food before my hunger sets in.
