Chef Miguel Reyes is on point when it comes to making dishes that are his own and hit every mark with flavor. The restaurant was also a great vibe as they brought in live music. It was busy as to be expected on Valentine's Day but the wait staff was mindful of when dishes came out and if you needed anything they were on top of it. My family and I absolutely love Gozo Kitchen! We've visited weekdays lunch and weekend brunch service. Some of our favorites are the ceviche, pork soup and the kids finished their burgers. Brunch service is extra special with live guitarist; such fun and friendly ambiance. We enjoy it so much we just hosted my daughter's baptism lunch there. We had a group of 50 people and everyone loved the food. They really took the pressure off of hosting an event and we were able to enjoy the special day with our loved ones. Went to check out Gozo after seeing it pop up on instagram, we were attracted to the photos of the food right away, had to try it out. My friends and I got a plethora of items on the menu for us to share. Bone marrow was a must, Ahi Tuna Aguachile, crema de chicharron because how is this a soup, shrimp linguini since it is a customer fav, and Airline Chicken a recommendation from our server. Honestly all dishes were amazing, authentic, and unique in their own way. The bone marrow, chicharron soup, and chicken were our ultimate favs, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Staff was great. Owner and chef took the time to come chat with us which we always enjoy. Our waitress was very inviting and had great recommendations. They even gave us a tiramisu (fricken amazing btw) on the house for our first visit! They do it all here. Lunch, dinner, events, and coming soon...Brunch (my favorite of all meals)!!! Went a second time on Valentine's Day and my steak was over cooked, tasted good but definitely not medium. Just fyi, they leave the head, shells and legs on their shrimp. Came here during lunch ordered the Mexican Caesar salad with chicken to go. The salad itself was average however the CHICKEN was soooo freakin good! Crispy on the outside and juicy and so flavorful on the inside. I know it's just chicken but I've seriously never had better chicken than this one lol. The service here is on point. Our server was always making sure we had our drinks and checking in on us. The choice of music was perfect. We got the salmon sashimi and the bone marrow as appetizers. The salmon was fresh, but the bone marrow... oh em gee. Absolutely delish! Then got the cream of chicharrón and the airline chicken. The soup was so good. The chicken was juice and tender. The hubs and I decided to finally give Gozo a try and we will most definitely be back. We started off with ahi tuna and it was very refreshing. The hubs got the airline chicken while I got the salmon pasta. Both were really good, but the airline chicken was soooooooo yummy. Kind of regretted not getting it for myself. I wish I remembered our servers name, but she was super sweet and very helpful. Miguel was also very welcoming and made sure to check on us after our dinner to make sure we were happy with our meal. I tried the steak and that came out delicious and juicy. The crema de chicharrón was by far my favorite! A perfect amount of spicy and creamy soup with chicharrón chunks. Visited with a friend tonight. They were having a network even but still sat us, which I thought was so accommodating. We started off with drinks, which were really good. Very tasty and not watered down at all. I don't remember what our first round was, but for our second we had their take on a Paloma which included orange juice and it was so refreshing. For entrees, my friend got the airplane chicken, which was SO good. The beans and the green salsa were paired so perfectly and the chicken was very tender and juicy. I had the New York steak, which came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. It was all really well done, I enjoyed every bite of my food. The service was also excellent (attentive but not pushy) and the chef came out to greet us and tell us about the events they host. Overall, I highly recommend! Let me start off by saying the service was great! Sunday brunch - The servers were so friendly and sweet. The ambiance is lacking... it's in a strip mall first off which I can get over, because those are typically the hidden gems. But the tables and chairs are just sterile and cold because the restaurant was cold. Everyone kept their coats on. Even all the other patrons at the other three tables. They had one big TV playing Mexican music videos...which I don't mind, but for Sunday brunch maybe put football on and people would sit a bit longer and order more drinks. the menu was pricey in my opinion. I ordered steak and eggs ($27) medium rare and my steak was cooked well done... I didn't have the heart to send it back, my eggs tasted like fish. I ordered a side of avocado for $4 ...5 tiny slivers. My son ordered pancakes which were burnt on the bottom ... I believe the stack was $17 and came with no sides. My husband ordered the chilaquiles rojo. He probably enjoyed his meal the most but said he would have liked some beans or rice to accompany it - his meal was $22. Overall glad we tried this place because I grew up here in chino and still live here and we love small businesses. For now I think we will stick to Riverside grill - and the new Cattle ranch for Sunday brunch . We wish Good luck to your new restaurant. Maybe it just wasn't for us. read more

I would rate this place a 0 if I could. I was looking forward to trying it out based on the good reviews. I made a reservation online for my mother's birthday with 7 people. When we arrived today, we saw that they were hosting a private event. We double-checked the address and it was correct. The person on the phone admitted they missed our reservation. I was very disappointed with their poor customer service. They did not make any effort to assist us. I will never return to this place because of the service and the difficulty we had trying to find an alternative. Thankfully, Meat Cellar saved the day. Even the table was set up cute with flowers and flameless candles. Our waiter Johnathan was very professional and helpful with the menu and any questions we had.
