I had a large pick up order today for my birthday. We had ribs, pulled pork, moist and lean brisket, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and Cole slaw. The food was incredible as always! My son asked if there were pickles included when he picked up the order and was told they were in the bag. However, we did not get any. I want to start by saying the food is pretty good, but the only issue I have is the cost. To pay 45 dollars for two to have lunch is steep. The sides of you get the small of the mac n cheese and mash potatoes are like 3.50-4 dollars and they are tiny tiny if you go up to the normal size it's 6.50 and that is crazy for side dishes. Between the two sandwiches and the side the price is like I mentioned high so I don't think I will be coming back because the food isn't worth the cost. I get the rent at the mall must be high but so is everything now and we need to pick and choose where our money is spent! read more

A friend wanted to take me out for my 68th birthday, which we had mentioned to the order taker to absolutely no response...specifically for ribs. We got there at 6pm, and they were out of ribs! I ordered the pulled pork which was dry, totally flavorless, and had to drown it in their "house sauce" which probably came from costco. My friend could barely get halfway thru his order before he couldn't eat any more. This was, by far, the worst food I have ever eaten in any restaurant. The food was served on small steel trays, which made me think of prison food. (it sure wasn't far off) Only once did anyone actually come to the table to ask how it was, we told him reasons why it wasn't good, he just shrugged and walked away. The ambiance was like a cross between a Johhny Rockets and a white castle. I wouldn't recommend this place if it were the last place on Earth. How does a "ribs" restaurant run out of ribs? 7/12/25- To start 2 sandwiches with water to drink and no sides were $28. The meat was bland and you had to drown it in sauce to give it any flavor. The bread was too soft to hold up to any weight and then the side facing the meat was over toasted to the point it wouldn't soak up any sauce. The bbq sauce was way to watery to really stick like bbq should. The only good thing I can say about them was that the food was served faster then I expected. Overall way over priced for less than average bbq. I recommend skipping. You can get better food in the food court. read more

Walked in at 624pm on Friday November 22, 2025. The first thing that came out of the employees mouth was they ran out of pulled bbq! I was there to order my free BBQ Sandwiches from their website as a new customer on the ap! I asked if they could substitute, and not only said no, but said I could buy something else! She also said they call before we come to see if they have the pulled pork! WOW! How stupid did that sound!!!!! We told her we came all the way from Aurora just to eat there and didnt even bother to go check with a mgr! Her reasoning was the coupon was good for a couple more months! We ordered a 3 meat/ side meal that fed 11 people for Christmas Eve and we had leftovers. the quantity given was generous. I was worried the meat would become dry as it was served 3 hours after pick-up. The quality and flavor exceeded my expectation and did not become dry with reheating. Decided to stop by to try their award-winning BBQ...and it did not disappoint. We had the pulled pork sandwich and onion rings while we were there, and got some jalapeno cheddar sausage to go. The sandwich was really good! The pork was fall apart tender and the green apple slaw is a perfect addition (you have the option to say no slaw when ordering...but DON'T). On the table are squeeze bottles of both regular and spicy BBQ sauce along with ketchup. We ended up making a mix of the sauces and actually added the onion rings to the sandwich thanks to my son's brilliant idea...genius move for sure! TIP-When you sign up for their emails you get a qr code for a free pork sandwich. After using the code we then received another code...this time for a free 5-piece order of wings. Love me some Gque Texas style bbq. This location is in a strip mall so you do have to find parking and walk to the outdoor shops to find it. They have a smaller shop so when it's busy you may have to wait for seating. They have an extensive menu. It's priced a little high but avg for the area the shop is located in. Their meat is always tender and flavorful. I love their Sasquatch sandwich and could bathe in their cheese sauce. Their Mac n cheese is also to die for. They also have regular weekly special summer menu items like burnt ends that are always great if you can catch them when they have the specials. This place is fast casual bbq. The flavor is amazing, but it is a tad overpriced. The parking is also weird for this location since it's in villas of Park Meadows, you'll have to park in the main parking then walk up. The staff is super friendly. 4-stars (on a Colorado BBQ scale...this ain't Texas) Located just outside the south side of he Park Meadows mall, park at Macy's and walk over (tip: stay away from the parking near Cheesecake Factory as it is more challenging). Like most BBQ joints, you order at the counter and then grab a table. I have eaten here at least a dozen times and find their version of BBQ to be consistent and slightly unique. With all of those visits, however, I keep coming back to the pulled pork sandwich with slaw on top. It's never dry and has been properly rested to absorb the layered flavors into the meat. Ribs are another fav. The sauce is not too candy like and ribs regularly receive the right heat to give a few end bits that burnt ends quality. Dry-rub Wings are yummy but I can think of at least four other places near by to get better wings. I have to admit, a BBQ joint at the mall seems like a recipe for a going-out-of-business sign in the window. However, GQue has proven they have staying power, and I think that is a credit to the ownership, consistency out of the kitchen and reasonable prices. read more

But we paid for 4 pounds of brisket, and it seemed light so we weighed it.. including the aluminum it came in, it was shy a quarter pound of brisket. Edit: I initially gave this a 3 star, but after I left this review I was immediately was contacted by the owner Mike. They are offering to refund the difference and reinforce standards. Food and atmosphere are quite lovely. Swanky little location in the heart of Park Meadows. You can sit by the window and watch all the Lone Tree socialites try to parallel park their G-Wagons. Good times. I ordered the brisket sandwich with the side of fries. The flavor of the meat was delish - although ice cold. Don't know if that's what they were going for, but it would have been nice to have some warm meat. That's what she said. Fries crispy - nothing special. My only other pet peeve- the BBQ sauce bottles are on the table and you have to imagine how many 100s of people have squeezed them and then grabbed their sandwich and fries. Love the food! The brisket is unbelievable! It is so, so tender, you do not need a knife, moist and delicious! It is the best I've had. Typically do not order because it's usually on the dry side at other places, NOT at GQ BBQ, so good! Highly recommend. The pulled pork is just a classic for us. We will go and sit at restaurant once in a while, have brought friends there, loved it as well. But my favorite thing to do is order on the app and pick it up. We're not as close as we were, but I will make the drive anytime! It is so worth it! I'll just order meats by the #, of course, the smoked wings with dry rub are a must!, can get a bag of rolls from them, sides, go home and feast!! Usually end up with the meat sweats, but it's ok, don't mind, so worth it. And of course, have to get a couple pints of ice cream since it's so conveniently inside the same place!!
