Boiling crab is always so yummy! They always hit the spot on the flavors and the service was good. Everything came quickly and I love how you can join the waitlist ahead of time.

Ordered to-go for a late night lunch. 1. 10 Piece Wing Cajun Spicy Mild 2. 10 Piece Wing Lemon Pepper Mild 3. Fried Shrimp Basket Got the Ranch and the BBQ sauce. With the Boiling Crab, flavors are on point and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

We ordered 3 pounds of shrimp and 1 pound of crawfish with Sha-Bang sauce. The sauce was still as delicious as always, flavorful, buttery, and spicy. Chicken wings were decent. Unfortunately, the seafood quality was disappointing this time. The shrimp did not taste fresh and some were mushy. We never had this issue before, but lately the quality seems to be going downhill. Many of the shrimp were also full of poop veins. I noticed the The Boiling Crab location on Main Street slices the top of the shrimp to clean them better, and the quality there has been much better. Another frustrating thing is their live crab and live crawfish are always sold out. It feels like they only stock very limited quantities. The wait time was also extremely long. Service was not very attentive either. We had to wave our hands multiple times just to get attention, and even then the server kept forgetting our requests. The Sha-Bang sauce is still the main reason we come back, but the seafood quality and service definitely need improvement.

An excellent, fast-casual, popular seafood restaurant featuring fresh seafood with a kick of cajun flavor, the boiling crab features some of my favorite seafood pieces such as shrimp, snowcrab, mussels and oysters at fair market value prices. The whole shabang is the sauce of choice in my opinion. Overall, not a bad deal for a delicious and hefty amount of food!

It's Memorial Day and the place is packed at 3:00 PM. The food is especially good at all the Boiling Crab locations, but this location feels right, and there is so much parking, compared to the other locations. In this particular case, I was taking out, as I bought some shrimp myself, and wanted to use the sauce to try out on some extra jumbo shrimp. The spicy nature of their sauce can be had as none to extreme, so tried the mild on this first go around.

Stay far away from this business. The 2 lbs of shrimp I ordered arrived covered in mold. Serving spoiled seafood is disgusting and a serious health hazard. If your food has gone bad, throw it away--not into a customer's order. Completely unacceptable.

Long wait... just go to one of the surrounding stores and come back when the wait is done. I didn't see any additional sinks other than the ones in the bathroom. The food was good! Service was good. We got the house seasoning. They were out of blue crab and live crawfish. We ordered 3lbs of shrimp and crab legs. Cajun and sweet potato fries along with steam rice and margaritas. This was split among 5 women.

Listen when it comes to Boiling Crab, I am loyal to only two locations: Rosemead and Alhambra. Tonight I brought my brother here for his very first seafood boil ever while he's visiting LA, and of course I had to introduce him to one of my ultimate favorites! And WOW -- tonight's food was extra better than usual. The flavors were so on point. My shrimp were all big and plump, perfectly cooked, and the corn (which has been hit-or-miss for me) was perfectly sweet and juicy. I put my brother onto my usual order: * Half lb shrimp + sausage, Whole Shabang mild. * Separate bag with corn & potatoes, Whole Shabang no spice. * And of course, some lemon pepper fries as an appetizer! My only complaint? The fries took 5ever and didn't arrive until after our bags hit the table -- not ideal when your hands are already covered in sauce. But honestly, our server's personality totally made up for it. She was super sweet, attentive, and had such a great attitude. Love when the service matches the vibes. Just a reminder for the uninitiated: this location gets PACKED. Like, "2+ hour waits while you question your life choices" packed. Make. A. Reservation. Your future self will thank you. Another fantastic experience and a perfect intro for my brother's first seafood boil. This will always be one of my go-to TBC spots!

I hadn't been to this location in over 10 years, so it was cool to see what's changed. First off, they no longer hand out bibs or gloves automatically, but they do have them--you just have to ask. Other than that, the place looks about the same as it did years ago. We joined the Yelp waitlist and walked around the plaza, ending up with about a 20-minute wait at 6:30 on a Wednesday. As for the food, I still see Boiling Crab as the standard for Cajun seafood. It's never the absolute best I've had, but it's consistently good. We each ordered a pound of shrimp with corn, potatoes, and a rice to share. I got mine with the Whole Shebang sauce at XXX spice (which, in my opinion, isn't all that spicy). The food was tasty overall, though a few shrimp were overcooked and turned a bit mushy. Still, I left satisfied. Service was fast and overall solid for Cajun food.

Stopped by on a Saturday evening and joined the Yelp waitlist at 6 PM and got seated around 8 PM. If you're coming during peak hours with a party of fewer than six, definitely join the waitlist 1-2 hours in advance. Parking was easy with their private lot. Service was attentive, and the overall vibe was super casual. This is your classic seafood boil spot. They provide bibs and disposable gloves at the start. They're known for their Cajun sauce, and I would say it lived up to the hype- probably my favorite of the sauces. I also appreciated being able to customize the spice level according to your taste. My favorite menu items from the meal were the raw oysters, shrimp, clams, and sausages. The oysters were very fresh, and the seafood was well-seasoned and flavorful. The Cajun sauce was bold, rich, and savory. Garlic butter was a bit heavy but worked well with the potatoes. The lemon pepper was a lighter, zesty contrast- perfect for switching things up. The snow crab legs and Dungeness crab were on the pricier end and not particularly standout, so I would probably pass on these the next time I go, but if you're feeling a splurge, I'd recommend going for the fresh Dungeness over the frozen option if it's available (it's commonly sold out). I would probably pass on the lobster roll as well (one of their newer menu items), as the portion was kind of small and lobster flavor was subtle.

    Molded Shrimp - disgusting

Run from this business! Disgusting- ordered 2lb of shrimp and it's all molded, this is not how you should run a business, if food were spoiled you should've throw them away rather than serving to anyone.

These guys do great business and I remember when it was only the one location near Valley and Garfield... Good flavors, long wait (possibly) so be patient and use Yelp online wailist to help.

For the price of food and the amount you get, I can't complain! The flavor of their own seafood boil sauce (boom sauce?) is a standard seafood boil flavor, it's legit. The flavors don't overwhelm you and make you wanna go to the toilet right away, you know what I mean? The family pack comes with 3 corn on the cob, 3 sausage pieces and 3 potatoes (like a medium sized potato!) it was good but I wish the seafood had time to sit in the sauce, you can tell the food was dumped on the sauce. We had to fight to scoop some sauce onto our mussels cause the bag was so full of food- what a good problem to have. Maybe the sauce is a bit thin? Maybe that's why it didn't stick to the food? Service was good, the ladies were attentive and professional. The decor looked like this place was known to be a bar- I mean there's a huge bar to the side. There's even a second floor but no one was seated there so it doesn't look used. Cute decor with the sea theme. Not happy about their toilet in the women's restroom. There's a a sign saying to please not dispose the toilet seat covers in the toilet cause it could clog it up. I was being a nice person and went to the trouble of respecting their wishes. It was gross as I was being careful not to touch the peed parts of the toilet seat cover. Don't judge me, only God can judge me! Come here to feed your family and friends at a very reasonable price! I was already in the area and when it was time for dinner I was walking around to see what looked good. I was so excited to see Stinkin Crawfish. It was weird though because I went to the restroom to wash my hands, and when I came back, they gave another group the table they gave me. I picked a different table, but I thought that was odd. After a quick glance at their menu I saw that they had Happy Hour is Monday to Friday from 4 to 6:30pm. It was a bit pass 6pm so I put in a Dozen Oysters (HH $15 | regular $33) while I looked at the rest of the menu. Ugh regret. These were SO BAD!! First off, the majority was not shucked, it was still attacked to the shell. I turned to the table next to me since I saw they had ordered oysters and I asked if theirs were shucked, and they said some were and some weren't. Oh goodness, so inconsistent. Then they also warned me that they got charged regular pricing instead of happy hour pricing. Also they didn't give me any utensils... so I had to go grab a plastic fork myself cause no staff was in sight and I had to scrap these oysters off their shells. First one not good. Second one, I drowned it in marinara sauce, still not good. Third one... SO BAD I SPLIT IT OUT... Fourth one, ALSO BAD. Okay I don't want to get sit... I'm over this... I just set it aside and covered it with one napkin to indicate I'm over it. Honestly they can see there were many untouched if they wanted to ask me how I liked them. Maybe I should have left but I made the mistake of ordering more food. I ordered a Raspberry Iced Tea ($3.75). Can't really mess that up but I want to point out that no refills were offered my whole time there. I did their Build Your Own with 1lb Shrimp ($17.75), 1lb Crawfish ($11 when added on to an order), with the Make it Awesome ($5.75) which is 1 corn, 2 potatoes, 3 sausages all in their Garlic Butter Mild. Okay... garlic... butter... can't go wrong right?? Well I'm wrong wrong wrong. I don't know HOW they managed to serve me the blandest cajun meal of my life. I am beyond baffled. I see the garlic. The color looks like butter. Definitely not mild, more like zero spice and zero seasonings. Even the limes they gave were dried out and bitter. My theory on the bland garlic was that it was prepped and frozen for so long it lost its' flavor. The seafood itself didn't taste fresh either. Bleh. It really needed a better sauce to mask the musky taste. Oh and the sausage was BURNT. Sigh. I think service tried to be nice. They did come and ask if I needed anything else. But honestly I didn't even want the food in front of me, let alone anything else. At the end they provided complimentary dessert to every guest. It was like a deep fried oreo with a scoop of ice cream on the day I went. The dessert was good. Just nothing else. Oh wait for it... when I got the check, I was also overcharged for the oysters, ringing up at $33 instead of the $1.50/oyster HH price being $15. The waitress was surprised and she even expressed how that happened to another customer (I know) previously and she had asked "him", who I assume is a manager or boss, to fix it in the system. Sigh... Apparently he didn't. The portions were fair, the pricing is fair... WHEN THEY RING YOU UP CORRECTLY. it just tastes bad. Low production quality. Maybe they are able to keep these prices by buying low quality product. Regardless I DEFINITELY won't be coming back. This meal, or rather the stuff that was edible, is not worth the calories. I rarely give 1 star reviews but I almost considered it... but no one was mean and I didn't get sick (because I spit up the bad oysters and stopped eating them). This is such a generous 2 stars review for the mess I had to deal with.
