Our daughter was happy to play the games and got a plushy. Food was well cooked and shrimp were easy to peel. Just tried "Grab a Crab" on a date with my boyfriend. 10/10 recommend it! All the food we had was good (shrimp + add ons with Cajun , crab + lobster + add ons , sweet potato fries, garlic bread, drinks). We were talking about it on the ride home. The inside is clean with a good vibe and I love the niche of the "Crab Grabber" claw machine! Me and my boyfriend got a shrimp plushie for a good memory for our date! The highlight was the service. Super busy, 1 hr waits, and the staff were still super nice and attentive. Our server Camille was so sweet, super helpful, had great suggestions and overall super super nice! She was funny, got us everything we need, and was able to educate us on the menu thoroughly. Tho, it seems so many of the severs were awesome. At first, I was a little upset at the waiting time because I arrived at the restaurant at 3:13 and was admitted at around 4:25. I understood that they were busy but I think it would be great if they could give us a warning next time! My waiting time estimation that Yelp gave me was 20 minutes. I was 13th in line with only one person in my party so I wasn't aware that I would have to wait for over an hour. Service was amazing, attentive, and quick after I got seated, though. My server, Rachel, was super sweet, friendly, and pretty. She definitely made my experience a ton lot better. The food was really fresh and delicious too. The shrimp is really juicy so just watch out because it splashed on my face twice. read more

This place just opened and we had such a great experience. Our server Annette made it a 10/10. She was super friendly and helpful with going over the menu with us. I love Grab A Crab and have been going to the Hacienda Heights location for a while, so I was excited when the Baldwin Park location opened since it's much closer to me. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The food was not the same quality I've come to expect. Our drinks also had a strange taste, and we had to send them back. On top of that, we asked for sauces three times before they were finally brought to our table. I know how good Grab A Crab can be because I've had consistently great experiences at the Hacienda Heights location. Sadly, this location didn't meet those standards. I won't be returning to the Baldwin Park location, even though it's more convenient for me. read more

Unfortunately did not like our visit, to start the place was extremely hot, didn't seem like the AC was working , when we got our food we were missing our two rice bowls and didn't get them till basically the end , the food itself was okay, the sauce didn't seem too flavorful. I've been going to the hacienda location for a while and was excited for their new location in bp. But the customer service was not the best. Took them like 10 mins to ask what we wanted to drink. Once we ordered my boyfriend ordered an alcoholic drink but took forever to bring it out. We seen everyone around who ordered an alcoholic drink had theirs but us.
