    Painted ladies mass release box

Forgot to post this months ago (service sept 2025) Very easy to work with. It's a family owned business. The son Daniel is very helpful and informative, and the dad is a very nice gentleman. It is in a neighborhood and once you arrive there's an obvious sign to follow. It was a great experience for our butterfly release, and all of our painted ladies survived and even climbed on some of my brother's closest loved ones. Lovely concept and lovely people to do business with. Thank you for your help!

Amazing experience! Very thoughtful! We released butterflies for my dad's celebration of life! Everyone loved the individual boxes. My cousin recently had a butterfly release but the only option was the mass release and loved that it was individual. Will definitely buy butterflies from them again!

I ordered butterflies as a surprise for a friend to do a celebration of life. The experience with their website and interacting with Daniel was great from start to finish. Our butterflies were amazing in the lantern and the instructions for keeping them until the release were perfect! I would highly recommend Grace and Honor.

Fantastic! So worth the drive to pick up. Boxes of butterflies were ready in a pretty white box, with directions, a message from the owner, information about their business, goals, and vision, and best of all, a sweet "Don't cry for me" poem to read at mom & dad's memorial.

I had to make a really hard call over the phone to get butterflies at the last minute. I appreciate that Daniel went above and beyond my expectations. He is very understanding, patient and kind. I was very impressed and very happy I chose to call this place instead of somewhere else. Thank you very much for making his send off extra special. I will definitely keep you in mind for further needs.

The release of butterflies was a beautiful addition to my aunt's funeral / celebration of life. Each butterfly was delicately encased in an elegant box. The symbolism of butterflies is numerous -- I encourage you to consider these services for various occasions. Be free from your physical ailments in this world and rest in paradise, Bac Loan love you.

We purchased butterflies recently for a Celebration of Life. The TLC and honor that Dan puts into the packaged is amazing. What a great experience for all the family. We highly recommend this thoughtful activity.

My stepson passed away at the young age of 26 and we wanted to have a butterfly release at his service. I was put in contact with Grace & Honor through my mortuary and from Day 1, Daniel was so kind and welcoming on the phone. He explained the packages and pricing and even allowed our family to have 2 free butterflies to equal 26 for my son's age. The online ordering process was smooth and easy. It's all very detailed and I was able to see exactly what I was getting. I ordered the individual boxes to allow my family and friends to each be a part of this very special celebration. The day before pick up, Daniel called me to confirm my order and the day of I arrived at the location to pick up the beautiful butterflies. They were all packaged and ready to go for me. I was given care instructions for them and a lovely poem to read before the release. This added such a harmonious feeling to our service and reminded us that beautiful things must fly away such as our stepson who rose to the skies to be with the Lord. I highly recommend Grace & Honor for your events. I will share a few photos. Thank you!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I never purchased butterflies before and I was looking for something to honor my 2 year old baby girl who passed last year. This was so beautiful doing a butterfly Release. It was the best decision and when I picked up the butterflies the owners were the most kindest people. They were welcoming and sweet. They showed me the butterflies and gave me all the information I needed.I will be doing a butterfly release from them every year.

I have been trying to write this review for months. My mom passed suddenly in April. One of her absolute favorite things were butterflies. I knew that I definitely wanted to release butterflies at her memorial service. I searched high and low and did days of research before coming upon Grace & Honor. Not only did they have the best prices, there website was easy to navigate. I thought it was a bit archaic that you had to phone in your order but hey, that was no big deal. I had the pleasure of speaking with Daniel. Daniel, is extremely friendly, patient, sympathetic towards my reason for ordering and outrageously helpful. Daniel e planned everything I needed to know about caring for the butterflies as well as emailing the information. I had to send an Uber driver to pick the butterflies up. Daniel even have verbal instructions to the Uber driver. Well, we followed all of his instructions and ever single butterfly was alive and well. The butterflies added just what I wanted to my mom's service. We released them and they all were healthy and flew away (just as planned). Thank you Daniel fir your outstanding service. I plan to release butterflies every year on my mom's birthday and I will definitely be using Grace & Honor.

Daniel was very communicative and left detailed instructions on how to take care of the butterflies. It was a beautiful way to commemorate my grandmother. The butterflies were all alive and beautiful. We even read the poem that came with our order. The family loved it!

One butterfly in glass container with a kind message. It was for a memorial release on Mother's Day.

I met up with a friend that I hadn't seen for awhile and it was the perfect place to catch up during a walk around of the garden. It reminds you of why they call it Orange County. If I went to school here I'd be here probably once a week. Otherwise it's great to come if you live in the OC.

From the parking lot it was easy to follow the signs along to the garden. The garden had areas that represented Woodlands, Mediterranean, Dessert, and a Cultivated Collection. There were walking paths but I still recommend closed toed shoes since it's a bit sandy. They had many benches throughout for resting or handing out and admiring nature. We spent about an hour here, but to be fair I'm not that into nature. I GOT A BUG BITE and it swelled and was super itchy. Sigh. I think someone who super loved nature or wanted to take their time to hang out could take 2-3 admiring all the plant life. My FAVORITE moments here was when we came across wildlife. My favorite were the rabbit, turtle, and crane. It's beautiful. Great spot to get some steps in and absorb some sunlight.

Parking was very limited at that time, so plan ahead if you're going early. Clearly, a lot of people know this is the spot for a serious workout. The stairs themselves are brutal in the best way possible. After about three rounds, my legs were completely done--but it's such an effective workout. This place really gets your cardio in fast, and you feel accomplished every time you finish a round. The views along the way make it even more worth it. We also came back later in the day around 5:30 PM. It starts to get a bit dark around that time, so that's something to keep in mind, but it's still a great experience and totally worth it. Overall, if you're looking for a challenging, fun, and effective outdoor workout, Hillcrest Park stairs deliver every time. Just be ready for sore legs and limited parking during peak hours.

I love that you can provide your own catering, we had our family business cater the food for our event and that was nice because no other venues we looked at allowed that. Our wedding coordinator Katie put in so much work for our wedding and we are so grateful for everything she did for us. She gets things done! My best tip for someone looking to book is to be very organized and clear with every item you want if you are planning to bring your own decor, they are great and will get it done! But being organized will make things easier. The venue closes at 10pm, but we were able to book an area 12 minutes away at one of the bars in Downtown Fullerton. We had a good turnout of guests there for the After Party! We got so much compliments on our beautiful wedding and ceremony, and many compliments on the venue. We started planning our July wedding in January 2022, and we wanted to have everything outside so that guests wouldn't worry about masking indoors during the time of Covid. The Griffith House has huge space for everything. The other great thing that others have already mentioned is that, other than table, chair, and bar rentals, you get to choose your own vendors and bring your own alcohol - provided you pay for their bartender and security, of course. You do have to work with (and pay) one of their in-house day-of coordinators from Hutchinson Weddings, but Amy, who we we worked with, was very helpful working through the rentals that we used from the venue, as well as coordinating our outside vendors on the day of the wedding. We really wanted to choose our own caterer and bakeries, to choose wines and beers that we liked, and to bring my own pro audio equipment for the ceremony and music. The Griffith House let us do all that.

We brought a picnic lunch and sat on a bench that was perfectly situated alone amongst the desert plants. After lunch, we followed the signs for the Redwood Grove Trail which was labeled as easy and is a 1.5 miles dirt trail to the Redwood trees. When you arrive you'll see a small Redwood forest with the history of the trees displayed before you enter. A really beautiful and peaceful spot to relax for a bit. On our way back we decided to take the Creek Trail to see where it would lead us. I was hoping to see water at the end of this trail. But, we only saw a bunch of rocks at one point that may be filled with water if it rains. The end of this trail did lead us to a beautiful butterfly garden and the opposite end of the park. We made the walk back and stopped at the pond. There appeared to be other trails surrounding the park and a trail that leads to the Carbon Canyon Dam.
