Food: We honestly picked Mar7aba mostly because it was the closest place to meet up with a friend…read morewho lives nearby, but it ended up being one of the biggest surprises I've had in a while. The cakes here are incredible. My husband and I ordered the Iraqi Karak Tea, Hot Lime Tea, Biscoff Cake, and Pistachio Chocolate Cake. The hot lime tea was warm, comforting, and had a slight tartness that I really enjoyed. The only thing I would note is that it may not be the ideal pairing with their desserts because the tea itself is also fairly sweet. As for the cakes, both were fantastic. The Biscoff Cake was honestly one of the best cakes I've ever eaten. It was rich without being too greasy, perfectly balanced, and the Biscoff flavor came through beautifully. The Pistachio Chocolate Cake was also a huge winner, with a great combination of nutty pistachio and decadent soft chocolate flavors. We came for a casual meetup and left talking about the desserts the entire drive home. Price: Prices were very reasonable considering the quality. Tea drinks are generally around $4-6, while specialty cakes such as the Biscoff Cake and Pistachio Cake are about $12-14 per slice. Overall, expect to spend around $15-20 per person if you're getting drinks AND dessert, which feels like a great value given how impressive the cakes were. Ambiance: The café has a cozy neighborhood feel and serves as a nice place to sit down, catch up with friends, and enjoy Iraqi tea and desserts. It doesn't try to be overly trendy or flashy, which actually adds to its charm. The focus here is clearly on the drinks, sweets, and hospitality. Service: Servers were friendly and welcoming when getting our order. We felt comfortable hanging out and chatting for a while, and the staff were helpful when answering questions about the menu. Parking: Since it's located in like a strip mall/shopping plaza on Brookhurst, parking was relatively easy and convenient. There's a free outside shared lot in front.

I found it odd there were no side station for napkins/straws.

There was also a yogurt-like cream on the bottom, and I personally could have gone without this cream, but loved the drink nonetheless! Service: You self order, and the drink comes out pretty fast in five to ten minutes. The cashiers are nice and call you by your name! Ambiance: The best quality about this cafe is it's such a nice place to study with many tables inside, a few tables outside, and a clean bathroom. Parking is also easy with a upstairs lot facing Vivot! There's also a bit of area to walk around the cafe for a study break! Also huge shout out to this cafe's hours as they're open from 7 AM-11 PM, so you feel no rush to quickly finish your tasks! Please come to Vivot for not only a refreshing drink, but a beautiful place to study that is open late!

My second time here…read more Drinks: underwhelming. Not well proportioned ingredients between the chosen flavor, milk and matcha. Waterdowned with plenty of ice. Price: overpriced for both drinks and sandwivhes. Although I don't mind paying extra for a satisfying drink, this one is not one of those. Ambiance: the walls, decor, plants and furnitures needs plenty of improvement. It looked like they were going for a minimalist look but it seems too bland and all over the place. I appreciate the music but the overall ambiance is not very inviting. Service: self serve to order and they ask for tip? The customers are expected to clear the tables and put away food and drink containers. It doesn't make sense. Parking: it's downtown fullerton, unless you know the area, it might be difficult for you to find parking especially during peak hours. But there's a couple of parking structure nearby which is a plus because it's covered and free. By the way, I initially ordered the classic strawberry matcha for comparison to other matcha drinks I've had from other cafes and I came the 2nd time to try the matcha flight to give it a chance but I was underwhelmed on both times. On both occasion I ordered my drinks with coconut milk and it was so overpowering and matcha flavor is very mild and with addition of plenty of ice, it taste like a waterdowned green drink that's milky in flavor.

This shop serves all sorts of amazing looking desserts and unique creations. It took a lot of willpower to stick with a scoop of ice cream but I need to return to try more stuff! I got a scoop of the "baklava crunch" ice cream. I expected just some baklava sprinkled over ice cream so I was pleasantly surprised to see it was fully blended into it. Truly delicious and captured all the flavors of baklava. There was no "crunch" though so maybe they should sprinkle a bit on top. I also tried their "Filo Tea" which is hot organic black tea with a choice of fresh mint or sage. I went with sage which the employee let me know is from Jordan. This was a spa in a cup. A relaxing experience that eased away stress. I really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to try more. The knafeh topped with ice cream I must try!
