Absolutely inedible chicken wrap. The chicken cutlet was soggy on the outside and that weird chewy texture inside. Asked for no onions got onions. Grilled chicken wrap - again chicken gross and chewy. Asked for balsamic on the side- no balsamic. Horrible experience. Stopped in on the way to the ferry with plenty of time to grab a sandwich some drinks and head over. After waiting 20 minutes, while watching people stand around behind the glass they finally started making the sandwiches. After the first ten minutes the guy at the register tells us they're working on it. Then another five minutes the guy making the sandwiches let's us know they have a lot of online orders. After 20 minutes we asked the guy how much longer to which he says "I don't know they're making it. There were orders before yours". Mind you when we got in there was 1 person ahead of us and 1 person waiting. We now watched five other groups come and go after us plus the people before us go. After the 20 minutes the guy started making our sandwiches as we can literally see through the window. Horrible experience. Slow beyond belief. Random I'm assuming employees coming in but not working as they look like they went for a run just walking around chatting with everyone sweating on everything. I have come here many times. It's convenient to text your order. The food overall is ok. The people are very nice. But I do suggest you check your food to ensure your food is correct. I usually order breakfast. They aren't cheap with the meat and eggs which I like. I also like that it's close to me. The price is average. They also serve lunch but I am not as familiar. read more

Working close to this deli we frequent it multiple times per week. The staff is always courteous and friendly, as well as fast. Nice when people care about others time strapped lives! The roast beef is homemade, and if you prefer it well done they are quick and happy to toss it on the grill. Speaking of the grill.... EGG SANDWICHES ALL DAY!!! Always nice when you feel like a late day bacon, egg and cheese (i ask for salt/pepper/ketchup). My two favorite sandwiches, since I am a chicken cutlet fan are as follows: Chicken cutlet club. Chix cutlets with bacon and American cheese melted followed by Russian dressing. The listed sammy comes with lettuce/tomato but I order without. Have never been disappointed, very consistently prepared. Second favorite is chix cutlets with honey ham and melted swiss. Followed by honey mustard sauce. Nice tangy honey mustard and prepped perfectly. Recently I was in the mood for a bacon/lettuce/tomato with lightly applied mayonnaise. Not a difficult sandwich but easy to do poorly. They nailed it! Inside you aren't winning any design or feng shwei awards, but it is always clean and lively. The standard potato and macaroni salads are made fresh daily and not overly dressed with Mayo. I came home to Long Island from Virginia for a Fire Island vacation. One thing I always need to get is a bacon egg and cheese with salt pepper and ketchup. I stop here because it is a place I have stopped before. But today I was just not impressed. Most times we stop here on the way home and get a hero. From what I remember they were good. But as far as stopping in for a breakfast sandwich I won't again. The sandwich looked ok. The biggest issue was the eggs. They were just dry. Question if they were real eggs. I that good old fried egg but that's not what I got. The place seemed a little dirty as well. It just looked a little run down. I guess I should have paid more attention to the over flowing garbage outside the door. Hint hint. I actually left the freight ferry and passed and bagel deli on Main Street. I almost stopped there but passed it but because I knew of this place already. Probably my other mistake. Maybe when I leave I will try the Main Street place. read more

If I could I would give 0 stars. I ordered breakfast sandwiches on the Uber Eats App (wasn't their fault) and they messed up my whole order. The avocado was rotten, black, and the turkey was dry and hard. I ordered an egg everything bagel, bacon, eggs, & cheese and home fries on the side. I opened it up and there was an Everything bagel (Not an egg everything) with bacon and eggs with home fries on it with cream cheese in a cup. I also ordered a diet Snapple and they gave me regular one with a flavor that I didn't order or want. The most frustrating part is that on my receipt everything was how I ordered it. I was really excited to try out this place. I would not recommend! There are way better places to get breakfast sandwiches! read more

I have yet to try my food because I came to pick it up after calling it in and the two ladies behind the counter were reaching in and out of the bagel cases, toaster oven and the deli case with out any gloves on, extremely unsanitary, especially for ready to eat foods. The younger guy at the register and older guy had on one glove each, which I doubt had been changed. The guy at the register was nice but that for me isn't enough reason to return to a place where cleanliness and the safety of customers isn't held to a higher standard. This Deli is great the morning crew is awesome but the afternoon crew not at all. The girl at the register is super nice but the guys behind the register not so much. It took them 15 minutes to get started on a salad and even then they had to ask around what was supposed to go in the salad and even asked me If wanted one of the pre-made salads. It seemed like to much to ask for a fresh made salad. Even while they were making it and I was standing right there they asked the girl at the register if it was a small or large salad did not even considered to stop and ask me what I wanted. The food here is really good, but the service is indifferent (at best) and slow. We placed an order online. When we arrived, the woman behind the counter said they hadn't received it and that we must have placed it at their other shop. Fortunately, they called over there before we left and found that the other shop didn't have an order for us either. THEN they checked and saw that they had gotten our order, just hadn't picked it up. I'd ordered a $9 quinoa salad that the guy said they were out of. He suggested I pick another salad, and when I asked whether we could just get a refund instead, he said no, because the money went to the internet. As i went back in to exclaim my wrong order, the girl at the counter insisted and snarked thats what I ordered at the counter.
