The culprit, rickety old pvc pipe joint gave out. Immediately we sought out a great plumber to help us. Honest plumbers are rare these days and Mike at Showtime Family Plumbing proved me wrong!…read more Out of 3 quotes, Mike came out the most honest, breaking down the details while the others were just out to make an extra buck. Mike did a hose bib replacement and Mike showed up same day, 2 hours notice. Amazing service, Mike replaced the hose bib with a modern valve and made it possible to change it out in the future. Took water pressure readings to make sure the pressure regulator was in line. He also took a look at the kitchen sink that was slow to drain and he fixed it in 15 minutes - no charge! He also noted that the water heater was old and to start looking for symptoms of early onset failure before it becomes an emergency which is even costlier. Plus a discount for being a first time customer! Amazing to find such an honest plumber and to find out that he believes in keeping customers happy.
