Rating 4.5/5 Gracie's is absolutely worth the visit. My brother and SIL have been here before so I already knew dinner was going to be exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The host and our server were genuinely pleasant, attentive. The food was excellent across the board. - Tuna crudo was fresh and well balanced 8.5/10 - Russet potato gnocchi was so comforting and flavorful 9.5/10 - Point Judith sea scallops 9/10 - The wagyu steak was good but not my favorite dish of the evening 7.5/10 - S'mores mousse was an amazing dessert to end the evening 10/10 To top it off, the espresso martini was made exactly how I like it, strong with just the right amount of creaminess. Overall, Gracie's delivers an elevated dining experience with excellent service and memorable dishes. I would definitely come back again!

Always an excellent meal at Gracie's. I came here after being away from Rhode Island for 4 years to ask my girlfriends father for his permission to have her hand in marriage. Even though our reservation was supposed to be from 7-8:30 we ended up staying until 10 (as you would expect a conversation like this isn't a short one) and yet the servers timed things perfectly and kept our table constantly clean, preset with new dishes as well as cutlery without any fuss. The CDC Matthew Varga was my mentor for a short time back when i was attending JWU for culinary arts. He took time from his busy schedule to come out and introduced himself to my potential father in law and we talked about our shared passion about everything food and beverage. He's truly one of the most passionate and humble chefs i've met in my life thus far. The entire meal was delicious from start to finish. That foie dish would be on my death row meal list for sure *knock on wood*. Our cocktails were made to perfection as well. The ambiance is the perfect balance between lively and quaint. The servers are attentive without ever feeling overbearing. I'd like to shoutout everyone at Gracie's for making our night so special and memorable. The good news is he said YES! The bad news is Gracie's has left some big shoes to fill for any big event her father and i will share in the future. 5/5

I attended RoséFEST at Gracie's with a friend on July 17th, 2025 at 5:30pm. I didn't attend last year's RoséFEST, but I had seen pictures that it was on Gracie's patio. I assume that it was too hot out this time, so this year's RoséFEST was in the downstairs private dining room where Journey Through The Vines events usually take place. We were introduced to Vinny and Sarah who talked about their curated selection of crisp, refreshing rosé wines and some small bites. The wines we had were Thibaud Boudignon Rose de Loire, Guiberteau "Chai de la Dive" Saumur Rosé, Château Thivin Beaujolais Villages Rosé, Tenuta I Fauri Baldovino Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rosé, and Bugey-Cerdon "La Cueille" Patrick Bottex Rosé. My favorite was the last rosé we tasted. It was bubbly, a little sweet, and fruity. The rosé wines were paired with seasonal bites-Crudo of Rhode Island striped bass, spice roasted duck breast, and grilled cheese. Everything was delicious and well complemented. Personally, the bites were very small and I wish they were bigger portions. Overall, RoséFEST was laid-back and the night went by quickly with great food and wine. I miss Justin and his PowerPoint presentations on the historical background of the wines, but Vinny and Sarah did a great job describing the notes of each of the rosé wines. RoséFEST was a fun event to taste different rosé wines and have some small bites.

I was taken to Gracie's for my birthday. I had wanted to go there but somehow had not done so. It was mid week and the place was reasonably full. The restaurant has a pleasingly minimalist design in beige tones. We were seated at a table adjacent to a pillar - not the ideal table. I noticed that a table by the windows was coming free and asked the maitre'd if we change places. He was most accommodating and prepared the corner table banquet for us by ironing the new tablecloth and laying out the silverware. We sat 90 degrees from each other - by far my preferred arrangement. We ordered from the alacarte menu instead of the tasting menu as it had my favorite dishes on it. All the waitstaff were very attentive, especially Danielle who was assigned to us, and was efficient, and helpful. For starters my partner had the roasted beets whilst I ordered the Foie Gras, which I have not had for a while. It was excellent and comparable to the best I've had in Paris where we once lived. The main courses were Rigatoni (a generous helping some of which was packed to take home) and the duck leg (there were two of them) served with various fixings, both of which were delicious. Duck is my go to dish at restaurants as we never cook it at home. To end we had a creme brûlée and the rich chocolate Opera cake. I had a decaf espresso which rounded up the meal nicely. We shared two half bottles of a Bel Air Pouilly Fume and a more expensive Peay Pinot Noir. (They had run out of the red wine I had first asked for and after a short discussion with the sommelier we decided on the Pinot.) The dinner came to $306 which included various taxes, to which we added a $60 tip. A well deserved five stars. An expensive meal for a special occasion and a memorable one.

Amazing birthday celebration at Gracie's! Everything is so thoughtful, from the table decorations to each bite of food! They also gifted a sparkling wine toast for my friend's birthday which made the evening so special:) I also prefer to go a la carte as you can choose exactly what you want and they still include a yummy sorbet palette cleanser:) Bread: always so yummy and I love the whipped butter! The olive tapenade is also tasty but I wish they provided a larger scoop as the amount is too small! Gnocchi: 8/10. I wish it was grilled a little more to provide a crispier outside. Duck: 9/10. Soooo good Scallops: 9/10 amazing Matcha chocolate tart: 6/10. It wasn't a bad dessert but I would not order it again. It was very mint-forward and did not have as much chocolate flavor as expected!

Most of my friends love this place, so I am probably not fancy enough to enjoy it. We came for a wine class and then stayed for dinner. They said you get 10% off the bill if you do that but we didn't get the discount. The wine tasting was informative, the wines tasty, the snacks so so. Dinner wise the quality of the food is very good but it's expensive for the portion size. Overall I'm not wowed but everyone else I know is!

Amazing 7 course tasting menu at Gracie's! I would do the tasting menu again for special occasions and return to Gracie's to try some of their a la carte items soon! The service was amazing the entire night, and the food was delicious. Our overall favorite was the gnocchi that was perfectly cooked with crunchy breadcrumbs on top. However, the most innovative was the foie gras with carrot cake. The drinks were pretty good and they were able to execute a French 75 very well! Can't wait to return to try some other meals; Gracie's is well worth it!

Great for special occasions, great service. TIP: go a la carte We prefer this to the tasting after initially going with the tasting. My husband doesn't like crudo and the tiny stinky pieces of cheese dish wasn't worth it, IMO. Instead 1-2 apps or pasta and 2 entrees and dessert and will be perfect for 2. Their bread is the most delicious of any restaurant bread around. The foie gras is always melt in your mouth and with the best pairings. Duck entrees are heavenly and whatever the scallops are on is always slurp-able.

this place only gets 3 stars because i left VERY HUNGRY. i ordered the scallops and there was 5 scallops on my plate with the tiniest amount of butternut squash . we also got the gnocchi as an app and again underwhelming and unfulfilling. I've heard great things about Gracie's and it's a beautiful atmosphere and excellent service. drinks were delicious !! but baby had to go get some real food after this .

For my parents' 40th anniversary, we decided we'd finally try Gracie's and boy was it amazing. We opted for the Seven Course Chef's Tasting ($145/pp) with the Sommelier Grand Pairing ($100/pp), and it was worth every penny. The menu is seasonal, but we LOVED summer Gnocchi with corn, little neck clams, bacon, and bread crumbs, and an exceptional bluefin tuna crudo. The true highlight was the service. Our server, Ash, and the sommelier, Justin, went above and beyond to make the evening special, from personalized touches at the table to in-depth explanations of wines and dishes. It was an extraordinary dining experience we won't soon forget. Pro Tips: - Make reservations in advance for special occasions. - Try the tasting menu -- lots of courses but it won't leave you feeling miserable from overeating - The Grand sommelier pairing is a MUSTor wine enthusiasts. -

Not impressed, after all the hype this place gets the menu and the food is underwhelming. I found it to be overpriced and underwhelming. I've never been more disappointed in a cheese plate than I was in the cheese plate here! Two of us ordered the steak, both ordered it medium - one came out a true medium and one came out rare. On the plus side, we had a wonderful waitress who was amazingly helpful and attentive.

I chose Gracie's tasting experience with the wine pairing for my anniversary and was beyond impressed with the service and quality of food. The service was special because they sat us in a romantic corner since they knew it was an anniversary and even decorated the table. They were lovely people through conversation as well. The tasting experience was perfectly crafted to give us room in between plates to digest and discuss it seemed like perfect timing when the next plate would come out. Last but not least, the food was delic

Upscale dining at its finest! Gracie's delivers exceptional service and a menu that changes with the seasons--each dish executed to absolute perfection. The attention to detail, presentation, and flavor combinations are outstanding. Don't sleep on this Providence gem--you won't be disappointed!

They have a huge balcony that overlooks the river and a ground level patio that walks right out to the river boardwalk. We were able to enjoy Providence's Water Fire with private, front row seats. It was a priceless experience Despite all of that, the interior spaces are very, very small and oddly shaped, making it very hard to move during an event. It also makes it very difficult for the staff to maneuver in between tables, causing a major traffic jam when it comes to meal time. I'm not sure what happened when we were there, but there were MAJOR delays and mix ups during our event. So much so that the wait staff actually forgot to serve our entire table. By the time the realized this, they served us ice cold food that was over cooked, over salted, and actually inedible. The hosts of our event tried to correct it by offering to comp our table a round of drinks. But at that point we were all so disappointed and turned off by the entire experience that we all decided to leave two hours before the end of the event. In the 90s there was easy to use POS tech to do separate checks. And then they added gratuity (without telling us or noting it anywhere) so the bit about how people don't right with separate checks was uncalled for. There is zero chance I'll ever go back here.
