Such a vibe! I didn't try any food but the drinks were great and cheap! Service was also great. Classic dive bar but the decor makes it so much fun and even has a patio. I will be back. PSA: parking is tricky street parking and don't even think about parking at Chick Fil A

Simple dive bar with solid beer, friendly bartenders, good vibes, and tasty small bites.

just back to say the cheese curds at gracie's are the best around!!!! also the happy hour deals are amazing and i love that they have PBR on tap.

This was pretty much the only place in Phoenix that I had a good time in the week I was there. It is a dive bar, but it was rather pleasant and felt very safe. Four cocktails was under $40 which is apparently a rarity in Phoenix. The bartenders were solid, the tater tots were excellent. There was a free concert outback. The Photo Booth is a good time, their ATM only dispenses five dollar bills, which was pretty wonderful

Came in as the DJ was playing Ghost Town by The Specials. Yes.

DJ Thursday night played The Specials to Fleetwood Mac. Big patio in the back with lots of seating. Bar has seating too. They have food as well. A dive bar with punk flair. Their parking lot is South of Gracie's, only 10 spots or so, best bet is to come early to snag a spot (like I did) or park in the neighborhood around it using the street parking available. "Chopped Cheese" for $9 was good. Imagine a diced hamburger.

This is a dive bar with cheap drinks. What more can you ask of it? This isn't the place to go if you're looking for something fancy or upscale, but they have a decent food menu and can do any basic cocktail. What makes it a five star review for me is the amount of events they'll host, keeping things fun and interesting. I've enjoyed local music and a Rocky Horror screening here (almost as much as I enjoy their killer happy hour deals). They have an indoor and outdoor space, ridiculously graffitied bathrooms, and a photo booth to complement the grungy vibe.

Good food. Got the curds and the chop sandwich. Sandwich was just ok for the price and the curds were some of the best, even for Milwaukee standards.

The food was amazing it was cooked perfect the service was good we never had to ask for anything when I drink was empty they came over and actors do we want refills and it was a reasonable price for what I was looking for had a good time enjoy myself clean restroom clean inside of the restaurant just all around a good time

    Chopped cheese sandwich.

This place is amazing! We are from out of town and not used to the heat so this bar was a hidden oasis for us. Not much to look at from the outside, but that is good and keeps the touristy people (like us, for the most part) away. We did not expect this place to have what we walked into. Door from the street opens into the bar, which is way more than it looks like from outside. All the usual stuff found in a good bar there (good bartenders, good drinks, and conversation) and has a photo booth. Limited menu, but everything on it is delicious. Never heard of a chopped cheese sandwich before but had one and it is delicious! Fried pickles are great and wish I could have eaten more. To us, the real gem of this place is the patio outback. You would never expect this but lots of space, misters to cool you off, and the same great service. We are glad we went and if we ever come back to Phoenix (slim chance since it is too hot for us) we would make Gracie"s our go-to bar.

Ask the Community - Gracie's Tax Bar

Does this bar allow 18+? My husband wants to go on a date here he's over 21 but I'm under 21 and don't plan on having any drinks, obviously. We're Just trying to have a fun night that makes both of us happy,

Unfortunately, no. Definitely a 21-and-up place.

Do you have karaoke? If so, when?

    FIs your restaurant family friendly?

Hello Darryl. We're not sure what you are asking here exactly but Gracie's is a neighborhood bar open almost every day of the year from 4PM - 2AM. Anyone over the age of 21 is always welcome.

Do you have gluten free bread?

Can I buy a koozie or shirt at the bar or do I need to order online?

    Online! Thank you.

    How late is food served?

Until last call for booze which is around 145am. :)

Number listed on here is bad?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We have now fixed this issue and let me know if I can help you with anything.… Read more

That said, my experiences with service have been inconsistent. My husband and I came in for breakfast one morning and, while the server seemed to be doing his best, he appeared overwhelmed and possibly understaffed. It took quite a while before we were greeted, and service throughout the meal felt slow as he juggled multiple tables. On a separate visit, I ordered takeout. Unfortunately, the hostess who greeted me wasn't very welcoming, and there was another noticeable wait before my food was ready. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but I will say the burger itself was excellent--great flavor, a nice char, and a generous portion of fries. Overall, this place has a lot of potential given its atmosphere and food quality, but improving customer service--especially front-of-house friendliness and efficiency--would make a big difference. If you're already staying at the hotel, it's worth checking out, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to return.

It was beautiful outside, very earthy feels but we were placed at the table in front of the door and felt the artic, cold draft every time someone went inside in or out. The staff was rather quiet and dull. No one really interacted with us. We said less than 3-4 full sentences with the server. The food was good. We got the bread board. The fig jam is incredible. The salmon with zater seasoning tastes blackened but the citrus bourbon glaze made the dish. The risotto was the best dish! It would be better if the carrots and asparagus were chopped up and in the risotto. The risotto was so flavorful. Shrimp was good but please take off the salad garnish because it has no dressing and just felt like it was there to fill the bowl, but we would order it again! I would come back but it wouldn't be a staple. The food was great but there was no experience for this price.

Even when the bar is packed, they remember orders, keep a positive attitude, and make sure guests feel taken care of. That kind of service is rare. What really sets them apart is their personality and work ethic. They create an atmosphere that keeps people coming back. The bartenders are amazing however we are sad our normal peeps have left. Tonight Sean KILLED it with us and so glad he was still there since first meeting him on Halloween. Honestly the reason for 4 stars is the fact the drunken wifey is gone and the 3% credit card fee. We have been coming here for a little over 5 years and never had to pay that. Wild change and slightly bs. You already charge a lot for food and drinks (increases over the years are noticeable with management changes) but when you always have a rather large bill usually $700-sometimes over $1000 depending on the kind of evening we're having it is going to be very noticeable. A change like that needs to be more obvious, minus a little print at the bottom of the menu. No one even noticed (since we really didn't need the menu to order) nor did our server. It truly makes me want to give you a three star but I can't discredit the hard working staff and people in the kitchen, as it is clearly the change of new management and the "rebuild" from the beginning of the year. It speaks volumes to a group that has been dedicated to the Americano since March of 2020 and now makes us wonder if it's time to move onto a different restaurant.
