We can walk to this bar from our home so I'm probably a bit bias-- but Grady's is such a great local pub. Most importantly to me, their food is actually good. Pubs are fine and all to get a drink at, but some places you begrudgingly order some fries, and here we love to get a full dinner with our beers. We've been +15 times in the time we've lived here and definitely recommend it. Patty Melt, Fish and Chips, and Shepard's Pie are some of our go-to's (sides of fresh potato chips and a side salad with killer pear vinaigrette are also excellent). read more

There were 8 others in the place, so I'm not sure why the service was soooooo slow The chicken tacos were half filled with 2 bland dry chicken, makes no sense when the fish tacos on the menu includes 3 for $15. Food was wonderful. I had Bangers and mash, just wish it had had some Heinz Baked Beans with it, and some HP Sauce! But the sausages were delicious. They haven't got a gluten free menu but the owner of the pub did his very best to provide an option for my hubby. We came in with a group of 6 on 7/2 and were immediately greeted by Linda. She is a ROCKSTAR!! Her service was amazing, she answered any and all questions we had and even though she was the only one on the floor, from what we could tell, she made us feel like we were her top priority. Throughout our whole visits, she checked in on us, made sure we had everything we needed but also made it a personal experience talking with everyone in our group and making us feel like we were at home. Awful. My sister and I had been wanting to try Grady's Public House for a while now as it is very close to home and has good reviews, maybe those reviews are for the booze and not the food. My sister worked 14 hours and I left to get the good when she got home. My sister ordered fish and chips with onion rings. The fish and onion rings were severely over done and had been cooked in old oil, my sister couldn't eat them and ended up eating hot dogs. I ordered the cottage pie and caramelized Brussel sprouts. The cottage pie had a strange flavor, neither my sister or I could eat it. The mashed potatoes on top of the cottage pie were blah. They didn't taste bad, but also didn't have any flavor, I had better potatoes yesterday from a pouch. The salad was good, but how can you mess up a side salad. The Brussel sprouts were great! I ate my veggies and then got a bowl of Grapenuts. So my sister and I spent $50+ and ended up eating hot dogs and cereal. read more

My husband and I started eating at Grady's about two years ago. A number of times we've done take out. A good portion of the time the food was pretty good, but in the past 6 months or so, we had problems with 3 orders. Everything from wrong food to a soggy salad because whoever made it saturated it with dressing-instead of putting the dressing in a small container for our 3 minute drive home. The entire salad was a limp and liquid mess when we opened the container. We aren't willing to continue losing money. We will be going elsewhere. read more

Tried Grady's Public House for the first time via Postmates. Very impressed with their burger and fries! The Bentley burger was cooked to perfection (pink in the middle & juicy) and the truffle fries were flavorful and not soggy at all. I loved the slightly sweet flavor of the apple butter and cheese on the burger - enough to complement the savory flavor of the meat but not overpowering. We definitely will order takeout/delivery from here again, but we're looking forward to dining in once Covid restrictions are lifted. read more

A friend of mine and I decided to give this spot a try because neither of us and been there before. Before I say anything, we've both returned several times. Interior: about 3/4 of the inside is restaurant style seating with comfortable booths. The remainder is much more "public house" style. We found it peculiar but kinda cool that the roof still has the deco tiles from the old Chinese restaurant. It's comfortable. Red microfiber seats on dark stained wood makes you believe for a moment that you might have stepped into a 300 year old pub in the UK. Really the only gripe I might have is while the sports are going there isn't any music and that, hopefully, is seasonal. Service: these people aim to please and make sure all of your needs are met. I sat behind a pillar next to the bar (only seat available since the rest were taken with happy guests) and started counting the seconds to see how long it would take for the bartender to notice me. Less than a minute is perfect. I never felt ignored. Easy banter and conversation with the staff. Even though they're just starting and don't have all the inventory figured out for their bar they're honest about it and suggest alternatives readily. They deserve the tips you give. Food: I admit I only had a a chance to try some of the finger food but it hit the spot and was tasty as hell. Drinks: the selection is wide enough on beer that any person should be able to find something they'll enjoy. I had a Profuse Juice from 10 Barrel. They mix drinks with perfect proportions. Not too heavy. Not non-existent. Their bartenders (one of which I believe is the owner) are not noobs to mixology. Atmosphere: while it isn't full, it feels almost forlorn. Like a mother wishing her kids would come to town. With a healthy smattering of people? The chatter, the laughter, the good feels fill the place out wonderfully. Invite lots of friends. This place would be perfect for big groups. Overall: as a starter, they're pulling from years of experience and it shows. Decided to try this for the first time on a Wednesday night at 6pm. Not crowded at all, which was nice. Got a seat right away for the 4 of us. Seemed under staffed, which is understandable in the current climate. Order the pretzel bites with beer cheese dip, this was delicious and I highly recommend. We also order Irish nachos, which were ok. Get the pretzel bites instead! Ordered the cottage pie with side salad which was a hefty portion and plenty for two. Service was so slow! I really felt like there wasn't enough staff, as we only had two servers bring food or check on the table. Split a brownie sundae for dessert! Huge portion for that too. Last years service was rough, but lately, it had been so much better and welcoming. Today, such a bartender was there, which made me want to keep coming back, and then the owner walked in. My family and I use to love this place. Linda is a great server. We had even met the owners. I started meeting friends there and joining in at trivia night on Thursday's. The staff and bartenders are really rude, they will not greet you unless Linda is working. They keep saying they have shit nights. That's not my problem as a customer. I brought in new friends last night and before I got there my friends said the bartender slammed the menu at them and didn't want to take their order. I arrived I was sitting there over 5 minutes no greeting, no hey can I get you a drink. I had to wave at someone. If they want us to go to the bar to order then put up a sign that says that. It's a sit down establishment that should have servers assigned to tables. My one friend ordered food, it was dry. We asked for ranch they slammed it on the table. Myself and my other friend were trying to order while playing trivia and never got our food until it was time to leave. I told the staff we are not paying for our food, it never came out and I want to pay for my drinks and go. Was wondering why you could cut tension like a knife here. They said we had a shit night and we are super busy! I'm sorry but that doesn't give you an excuse to be rude to me and my friends and forget our food order and they weren't even that busy! I even emailed the owner and no response. I really like this place, seeing the staff have such angry unhappy faces makes me not want to come anymore. My money is just as good as anyone's. A small group of us went in for dinner and drinks. The service was pretty terrible. One lady seemed like we were ruining her day by asking for a beer. She was super rude and cold. We had to wave down other servers to help us since the lady that was helping us sat at the counter like her shift had ended but didn't mention it to us. With such a small amount of people in the restaurant I would expect better service.
