I went to get a bite and a drink. Monday night football is on and it happens to be SF 49ers with Kaepernick kneeling during the national anthem. One of the staff yells at the top of his lungs with expletives about how unamerican Kaepernick is. It ruined the dinner for me. I just want to eat and a drink. I don't want someone screaming their political views at the whole place with expletives. That's not what restaurants are for. Time and place. Everything is not political. Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience here. It could have been a fluke since several intramural sports teams were there at the same time, backing up the kitchen and making it incredibly loud. Sadly, our waiter was stressed out by the crowds and very snappy. It took over an hour to get our burgers and when we asked for a status, he said "I can't make the kitchen cook your food". When the food finally arrived, he brought the wrong burger to my husband. When we let him know he brought the wrong burger, the server insisted that my husband ordered the burger that was brought to him because that's what he wrote down. We eat out for almost every meal every day and we have never encountered such disrespect. My burger was the right Burger, except I asked for provolone cheese and it came with American. I didn't even mention this to the server. He did end up taking my husband's unsweet tea off the bill and gave us a 15% discount for our trouble. The same server told the people next to us "b****, I don't work for free", when they brought over a pitcher of beer that they got from the bar. I can say that the burgers were tasty, but the service we received was ridiculous. People - go at your own risk.. read more

Being a fellow restaurant owner I never feel the need to write reviews cause I do understand things happen when you go out to eat. However this has to be noted! I came to Graffiti Junction as it was recommended highly by some local friends. I had a very nice waitress and she gets 5 stars for her efforts. However I placed a order for a burger and it came back well done like a hockey puck after I requested a medium. The waitress apologized and ordered me another burger. Upon receiving my second burger which was a replacement for the first over cooked one the second burger was a total different burger than what was requested in my first order. The waitress showed her manager and he failed to even try to rectify the issue. He was to busy in his text conversation to even care that he has a unsatisfied customer who now has to pay for a burger that he didn't eat or order. This place will most likely continue to be a failure in customer service by its management and when mess ups happen the kitchen staff takes the easy way out and blames the waitresses for the mixup. Cooking skills can be taught but having common sense is something you can not teach. read more

IT'S TOO LOUD. SERIOUSLY! We endured it and asked the waitress if they could lower the volume on the speakers but she said no. She agreed it's too loud and that she has to yell at customers to place an order. So annoying. The food was great. Zucchini fries were awesome. SinCity burger filled with Brie and jalapeños covered in jack cheese and bacon with the most crispy, perfectly seasoned tater tots. We won't be going back though because our ears are ringing due to the volume of the TV's. It's just unnecessary. Poe's, here we come. Ate dinner there last night. Four people in my party and we may be all 40 plus. Not impressed with the blasting music and the countless roudy yealing patrons. Reminds me of a redneck training camp. Food is on the pricey side as I had the grafetti burger which was tasty but is was so greasy the entire contents kept falling off the bun. My wife had a wimpy burger and is was $30.00 for both and 45 mins of loud blasting music. Not a place for kids as the alcohol adds to drunk patrons screaming. This is a good little sports bar with a variety of burgers. I had the Iron City (Pittsburgh style) and zucchini fries. The zucchini fries are awesome! The burger was very good but I'm hesitant to give any place 5 stars until I try it a few times. I counted no less than 24 tvs and I probably missed some. My father in law told us this place was amazing. So we tried it out and was so very disappointed. The waitress was so sweet. That was the only good thing. I got the chicken tenders with chips and queso. The queso was not hot and tasted like it was jarred. The tenders were rolled in buffalo sauce. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't good. My husband got the green mountain burger. It tasted like it was from a cook out from somebody who didn't know how to season their meat. Like I said, not bad. Just not good. It's alright. Yes, the reviews are right - it's terribly loud, like any other new bar/grill in Jax. It has a solid beer selection and the wrap around bar and outdoor seating is inviting. We sat at the bar and I ordered a turkey burger because I appreciated that there were other options besides beef, and my husband opted for a beef a la carte with pepperjack cheese. We got one with fries and one with tots. My husband's burger was made well and he had no complaints. The buns are fine, just like any other burger joint. The patty of my turkey burger was seasoned well and I really liked the avocado and sprouts. The mustard sauce had a nice vinegar tang to it. The fries were cold but tasted ok but the tots were heavenly. They must be trying to up-sell the tots or something. I don't get the deal with plastic silverware. Just splurge and give your guests the real deal. And I understand the burger baskets, it's supposed to be a sports bar atmosphere. But they looked greasy, like they weren't cleaned between customers. The kicker was the next morning. I woke up with the worst stomach cramps, like my bowels were trying to rid my body of something horribly bad. I spent the morning with sweat/chills and flu like symptoms. Could it have been the sauce they had on the turkey burger? Could it have been something else I ate that day? I have no clue. Bar atmosphere is loud and nice with big tv's and good sound system. Burger is the most awful I have ever had. Most important, the bun is NOT even warmed/baked/grilled. (Bun is not stale but just taken directly out of the plastic bag and meat patty put on top). The burger patty is very thick but much smaller than the bread. (I admit I did ask for it well but didn't expect it to be completely burned on the outside). The service was excellent. Just ok. Giving some leeway since the joint just opened. The fried pickles were really good as I prefer spears over chips and here they're slices of whole pickles fried crispy. The burgers were cooked well but needed a bit more seasoning- the buns held up well which is a major detractor when I hit burger places that serve big patties on buns that disintegrate from the tasty beef juices... Well this place was so hot and cold! I had to give it three times which is a first for me. The first time we arrived it was not too busy. kind of a lazy Saturday afternoon. Our bartender was awesomely warm and inviting and it was the end of her shift so she hurried with our drinks and cashed us out no problem. After a few enjoyable minutes and delicious cold beer the Newly clocked in bartender kept checking on us and small talked with us and we finally decided on food from the very appealing menu. We got our food in record time and it was delicious and hot. The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection,unfortunately the order was completely wrong. In the middle of us eating the correct burgers came. We laughed to ourselves and the bartender and the manager we paid for the food and took it home. A week later we came back during a busy Sunday football game. They were out of a couple appetizers the hot dogs we ordered took about 45 min which was fine except for the tables next to us got all their food first. The neighboring tables got their order 20 and 30 min after we did (I know because they asked us for drink suggestions and food suggestions).The third time was the worst food was late cold bartender did not take our orders for 15 minutes and the food was salty we got the heck outta there the third night. read more

Unfortunately I'm forced to put at least one star. If you are just coming for a beer you'll be happy. I ordered the graffiti burger, it was absolutely disgusting. Shitty lettuce, burger was pre frozen, and cooked in grease. The bun sucked too. It literally just came apart and very greasy. Probably a $4 burger that they charge $14 for. We also ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were sliced paper thin, dry and overlooked. Terrible waiter service. Even in a busy bar there is NO excuse for bad customer service. I wasn't impressed. There wasn't anything too special about the bun, meat, toppings or fries...especially for the $11-12-ish I spent on it. It is reminiscent of a BK burger almost...I'm sorry to say. I experienced complete horrible customer service. A bartender named Nikki, supposedly she's a manager makes up excuses to not serve you. This hasn't just happened to me but many people. I walked in after my friends sat down at the table and I sat down, the waiter asked me what I wanted and I asked for a Bud Light, he said he can't serve us any alcohol. Mind you I would understand if I was drunk or tipsy or came in a mess especially that I have worked in the bar/restaurant industry for quite some time but I was not acting anyway nor did I talk to any employees before the waiter asked me what I would like. This has happened to many of my friends. This was completely unprofessional to be treated with such disrespect especially after the manager Nikki laughs in your face and calls you a bitch telling you there's the door after asking her why you can't be served. Went today which was a Sunday, and they had a DJ and it was pretty packed it seems like it would be a cool place to hang. However they have open seating and you pretty much have to hunt down for a table. Once we found one it took close to 30mins before someone came and talked to us and wipe down the table. Even though the server walked by us several times. She never told us her name and her service was very slow. I'm very patient and understanding because I work in the industry and I know how it can be but there was not even an apology or show of concern. Other than that for a burger bar I thought they would have more selections but they were all pretty basic. But I will say it was a decent burger. But all in all the service and seating was what gave it a low rating. There are too many burger places to consider going back here. Ordered a burger, medium that came out well done. The burger was dry and needed some seasoning. Fries were tasty but too greasy. The more disappointing factor was the staff and ambiance. No complaints about our waitress as she was very attentive but did not seem like she enjoyed the working there. I have always loved the food as well as the service at Graffiti Junktion however my most recent experience reflected anything but that. My server, Summer was rude, dismissive, and not abiding by the CDC COVID guidelines. As an establishment that I have always been a fan of, I am absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated on this particular day. I kept hoping that she would redeem herself throughout the time of our visit but up until we got up to leave she proceeded to behave in the most disrespectful manner. All the servers that we have had at this restaurant have been superior so I am hoping that this was just a bad apple. During my visit, her attentiveness was simply inexistent, her failure to wear a mask was inconsiderate, and she had tended to our table once throughout our three hour stay. I do not mean to bash the establishment as a whole but this cannot be the face of their brand. I will never be returning again if she is my server. read more

We were craving a good burger for lunch and were glad we had stopped after seeing people eating outside. The burgers were cooked to a perfect medium. We've found that a lot of places have a hard time cooking burgers without drying them out and getting them too well done. The zucchini fries were great too.
